The Restitution Law!


'The Restitution Law.'
a)  Leviticus 24:18. Was enforced if another person's animal was killed. 
b)  Leviticus 24:21. There was no restitution for killing a human being - only death penalty.
c)  Numbers 5:7. Restitution was to be made for doing wrong to another person. 
d)  Exodus 22:3 & 12. The thief was to make restitution for what they had stolen. 
e)  Exodus 22:5. The pirate farmer had to make restitution. 
f)  Exodus 22:6. The person who started a fire that burned the farmer's field - even accidentally - had to make restitution. 
g)  Leviticus 5:16. Those of God's People who rob Him were to make restitution. 
h)  Leviticus 22:14. Those people who are careless about Worship were to make restitution.

'The Spirit Of The Lord.'
a)  Isaiah 61:1; Luke 4:18. Was upon the Lord Jesus. 
b)  Isaiah 63:14. Can give rest. 
c)  Ezekiel 11:5; 37:1. Can come upon us. 
d)  Micah 3:8. Can fill us with:
1-Power.
2-Justice. 
3-Might. 
e)  Acts 5:9. Should not be challenged.
f)  Acts 8:39. Can take people away. 
g)  2 Corinthians 3:17. Brings Freedom. 
(This Second one gives me strong desire for The Spirit Of The Lord)

The thief was to make restitution for what they had taken. There is a crisis at the present time in British prisons. Most prisoners are bored and rebellious because they are not challenged. Even if they work, it is simple and easy. The idea of "prison camps" is an excellent one, where prisoners can participate in simple farm work or make bricks. This will help the prisoner to make restitution.
