Leviticus 24:16.
a) Anyone who speaks against the Lord.
b) Must be put to death.
c) All the people must kill him.
d) By throwing stones at him.
e) This Law applies to the foreigner just as much as it does to the Israelite.
f) If they speak against the Lord.
g) They must be put to death.

The Lord made the Law regarding speaking against Himself, not for Himself, but for us. It covered all peoples, both Israeli and non-Israeli. This Law made a lot of sense because when people speak against the Lord, they bring evil upon themselves. God is Good, God is Love and God is Faithful. God has no problem, it is the people who had, and sometimes still have, the problem. When bad things happen to us, it is usually people that are to blame, not the devil and not God.
