'We Are One Body.'
1 Corinthians 10:16-17.
a) The Cup of Thanksgiving, for which we give Thanks.
b) Is a participation in the Blood of Christ.
c) The Bread that we break.
d) Is a participation in the Body of Christ.
e) There is one loaf.
f) We, who are one Body, are many.
g) We share the one loaf.
(This QT teaches me that We Are One Body, the Body of Christ)

Romans 1:3.
a) Regarding God's Son.
b) As to His Earthly Life, according to the flesh.
c) Was a descendant of David.
(This Second one reveals more to me about God's Son - Jesus Christ)

We break the Bread and we ponder upon the Body of Jesus broken for us. We are partaking the Holy Communion with a heart filled with Holy Awe. Sometimes the way that Holy Communion is served does not encourage pondering before partaking and that takes something away from Holy Communion.
