Pay Attention!

'Pay Attention.'
Isaiah 42:18-20.
a)  Isaiah 42:18. The deaf people can hear and the blind people can see.
b)  Isaiah 42:19. God's Own People were blind and deaf. These people were:-
1-God's Servants.
2-God's Messengers.
3-People in covenant with God.
c)  Isaiah 42:20. These people see many things but pay no attention and hear many things but do not listen.
(This QT calls me to Pay Attention to God)

Seek The Lord.'
Isaiah 55:6-9.
a)  In this chapter we can see from vv1-5 that God was calling to His People who were seemingly not obedient to Him in how they were living. These were not Righteous people living humbly in the Will of God.
b)  Isaiah 55:6. They were to seek the Lord whilst He may be found and call upon Him while He was near.
c)  Isaiah 55:7. They were to turn from wicked ways and unrighteous thoughts.
d)  Isaiah 55:7. They were to turn to the Lord and He would have Mercy on them.
e)  Isaiah 55:7. They were to turn to God for He would freely pardon them.
f)  Isaiah 55:8. The Lord Declared that God's thoughts and ways were totally different to those of the wicked. (He was calling people who had been living in wickedness)
g)  Isaiah 55:9. The Lord said that His Thoughts and Ways were higher than those of the people whom He was calling.
(This Second one encourages me to Seek The Lord)

God's Servants have a responsibility to remain in the Fellowship with Himself that He has called them into. He gives Grace to enable them to do this. If we remain in Fellowship with Him the first thing that happens is that we Obey Him, secondly they have a desire to Serve Him. Finally, they desire to encourage other people to do so.
