Chris.
Our correct attitude towards authorities and rulers is most important. In the days when the Bible was written and lived out the people of God and also the non-believers were far more 'locally minded' than we are today. Modern media has put the whole world in our newspapers and on our screens. The Bible encourages us, as True Believers, to Pray for the Nations, not to try to impose another form of political system or government upon them. We all need to be far more concerned and committed to the City and Nation in which we dwell, as it was when Paul wrote to Titus. True Believers Pray for the Nations and do not try to interfere in them.
