(Through this QT I want to have Good Hearing)
------------

------------
Chris.
We thank God that His Healing Grace can touch not only our outer man but also our inner man. This healing for the inner man may be physical, emotional or spiritual. Sometimes we need our inner hearing to be healed, we may be able to talk well but we cannot listen.

Apostolic Rights!

‘Apostolic Rights.’
1 Corinthians 9:4-6.
a) 1 Corinthians 9:4. To eat and drink without condemnation.
b) 1 Corinthians 9:5. To include and to bring along his wife and family if appropriate.
c) 1 Corinthians 9:6. To work for a living.
(Through this QT I clearly see Apostolic Rights)
----------
‘Three Attributes Of The Lord.’

b) The Lord is willing to forgive – with Him is forgiveness.
c) The Lord is to be feared.
(This Second one teaches me Three Attributes Of The Lord)
----------
Chris.
The Apostle said that he could eat and drink all things without condemnation. Obviously our diets should be reasonably healthy because our bodies are Temples of the Holy Spirit, but we should not be religiously legalistic about our eating. The Bible says that we eat for the Glory of God.

The Eyes Of The Lord!

(This QT makes me aware of The Eyes Of The Lord)
---------
‘The Life Dominated By Sin.’
a) Romans 7:24. We need to be freed from it.
b) Romans 6:6. Our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin.
c) Romans 8:13. We need to deal with it by the Power of the Holy Spirit.
d) Colossians 2:11. In Christ there is a cutting away of our sinful nature.
(Through this Second one I see that as a True Believer there is no need to live The Life Dominated By Sin)
---------
Chris.
We need to be freed from the life dominated by sin. We cannot do this by “trying our best to be good”. To be free we really need God’s intervention and Grace in our lives.
We need to come to Christ and stop blaming the devil or other people. We need to have the Divine surgery – the cutting away of our sinful nature through the Work of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit.

Weeping!

‘Weeping.’
a) Matthew 8:12. Will be in the place of outer darkness.
b) Matthew 2:18; Mark 5:38; Luke 7:13. Of course takes place when loved children die.
c) Mark 16:10; John 20:11. Was what the Disciples did when they thought that Jesus was dead.

a) Matthew 25:34. Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the World.
b) Matthew 25:35-36. The Lord was:-
1- Hungry and we gave Him food.
2- Thirsty and we gave Him drink.
3- A stranger and we welcomed Him.
4- Naked and we clothed Him.
5- Sick and we visited Him.
6- In prison and we came to Him.
c) Matthew 25:37-39. The Righteous people will answer the Lord questioning Him as to when they did these things.
d) Matthew 25:40. Jesus answered that when we do these things for our human Brothers and Sisters – we are also doing it to Him.
(This Second one teaches me about The Welcome From Our King Jesus)
--------
Chris.
The ministry of providing clothes for those people who do not have enough to wear is a very important ministry. This ministry is not only meant for the Church poor, and they are important, but also for the destitute and helpless people that are found living on the streets.

Apostle Paul Defended Himself!

‘Apostle Paul Defended Himself.’
1 Corinthians 9:1-3.
In the Corinthian Church Paul was facing some Criticisms about his lifestyle. Here was his reply.
a) 1 Corinthians 9:1. He was a free man.
b) 1 Corinthians 9:1. He was an Apostle.
c) 1 Corinthians 9:1. He had seen the Lord Jesus Christ.
d) 1 Corinthians 9:1. The Corinthian Church was a result of his work for the Lord.
e) 1 Corinthians 9:2. The Corinthian Church accepted him as an Apostle. Their lives in communion with the Lord were a proof of his Apostleship.
f) 1 Corinthians 9:3. This was his defence when people criticised him.
(This QT: Apostle Paul Defended Himself should make us think much before carelessly criticising real men of God)
-------
‘A Real Finality.’
2 Thessalonians 1:7-9.
a) 2 Thessalonians 1:7. Finally relief comes to the True Believers who suffer. This relief happens when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from Heaven with His Mighty Angels.
b) 2 Thessalonians 1:8. Finally in this time of flaming fire there will be punishment for those people who reject God and who refuse to obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus.
c) 2 Thessalonians 1:9. There will be the final punishment of eternal destruction, being separated from the Presence of the Lord and His Glorious Might.
(This Second one reminds me of A Real Finality)
-------
Chris.
The Bible clearly tells us about finalities in God’s time frame. One of the finalities will be when the Lord Jesus Christ will be revealed from Heaven with His Mighty Angels. This time, the Bible says, will be a time of flaming fire, not for True Believers, but for those people who reject God and refuse to obey the Gospel.

Our Words!

‘Our Words.’
Proverbs 15:1-2.
a) A gentle answer turns away rage.
b) A harsh word stirs up anger.
c) The tongues of wise people give good expression to Knowledge.
d) The mouths of fools pour out a flood of stupidity.
(This QT makes me think about My Words)
-------------------
‘Condemnation Free.’
Romans 8:1-2.
a) For those people who are in Jesus Christ there is no condemnation.
b) The Law of the Spirit of Life Who gives Life in Christ Jesus.
c) Sets us free from the Law of sin and death.
(Through this QT I thank God that I am Condemnation Free)
-------------------
Chris.
There are thirty one chapters in the book of Proverbs. It means that there is one for every day of the month. Reading through the book of Proverbs will surely be helpful for every True Believer because the book of Proverbs deals with practical issues of life in the Light of God’s Wisdom.

God's Ways!

‘God’s Ways.’
a) Isaiah 55:8. Are not the same as the ways of sinful people.
b) Isaiah 35:8. Are for Holy People.
c) James 3:13. Need to be understood then we can prove we understand them by living an honourable life. We can also do good works in the humility that comes from Wisdom.
(This QT shows to me the importance of God’s Ways)
------------------
‘God’s Work In Our Hearts.’
a) Psalm 40:8. Causing us to desire to do His Will.
b) John 4:34-35. Stimulated by the Words of Jesus Christ.
c) Psalm 37:31. Then our feet will not slip.
d) 2 Corinthians 3:2-3. Causing us to love our Church, especially as we serve it.
(Through this Second one I long for God’s Work In My Heart)
------------------
Chris.
We need to understand God’s Ways more. His Ways are revealed to us in His Word. For True Believers to say that God’s Ways are too different from our ways is a misconception of Isaiah 55, taking out of context. When God was speaking in Isaiah 55 He was speaking to people in the darkness of sin, not True Believers. Let us understand God’s Ways more – our lives will change positively.

Be Considerate And Not Condemning!

‘Be Considerate And Not Condemning.’
1 Corinthians 8:4-13.
In this passage Apostle Paul clearly teaches that True Believers need to have a considerate attitude and not a condemning one when they are living in an idol worshipping environment or culture.
a) 1 Corinthians 8:4. Apostle Paul did not see an idol as evil or dark, he said that idols were simply “nothings”.
b) 1 Corinthians 8:5. He made clear that there were many “gods” and “lords”.
c) 1 Corinthians 8:6. For True Believers there is one God, the Father, from Whom are all things and for Whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through Whom are all things and through Whom we exist.
d) 1 Corinthians 8:7. Some people do not have the confidence that verse six gives, they come from an idolatrous background and they really see that food as being defiled by the idol. Because their conscience is weak they become defiled by the food which God provided for them.
e) 1 Corinthians 8:8. Food will not commend us to God. Abstain or eating, both make absolutely no difference to us.
f) 1 Corinthians 8:9-11. As True Believers though we need to be very careful that our behaviour does not offend the weak Believers.
g) 1 Corinthians 8:12. When we sin against weak Believers and wound their conscience we sin against Christ.
h) 1 Corinthians 8:13. If eating certain foods will make my fellow Believer stumble, I will never eat it again.
(Through this QT I see how necessary it is to Be Considerate And Not Condemning)
-----------------

b) Genesis 8:16. Noah and his family had to go out from the ark.
c) Genesis 31:13. And return to the land of your kindred.
d) Exodus 12:31. And serve the Lord.
e) Isaiah 48:20. From Babylon with Joy, for the Lord has Redeemed you.
f) Isaiah 52:11. And purify yourselves, you who bear the vessels of the Lord.
g) Jeremiah 43:12. In Peace.
h) Micah 4:10. The City and dwell in the open country.
i) 2 Corinthians 6:17. From their midst and be separate from them says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing and the Lord will welcome you.
(This Second one is an obvious direction from the Lord: Go Out From There)
-----------------
Chris.
All the Lord’s instructions that He gives and He gave to His People are and were always clear and easy to understand. When He says to us personally or as a family “Go Out From There” it is for us to respond in the correct way.

e) 2 Chronicles 11:23. And delegate some responsibilities to our family.
f) Psalm 2:10. As Rulers.
g) Psalm 64:9. Consider God’s doing.
h) Psalm 90:12. Use all the time that we have.
i) Proverbs 10:23. We will enjoy it if we have good sense.
j) Proverbs 11:30. And other people will follow us.

n) 1 Timothy 3:2; Titus 1:8; 2:2. If you want to be an Elder in the Church.
o) Titus 2:5. Young wives.
p) Titus 2:6. Young men.
(In this QT I realise the importance of the exhortation to Do It Wisely)
----------------
‘Do Not Be Surprised.’
1 Peter 4:12-13.
a) This Message is for the dearly loved Family of God.
b) It is not strange if our Faith is being tested as if by fire.
c) Rejoice in that we are given a part in the pains of Christ.
d) At the revelation of Christ’s Glory we will have great Joy.
(This Second one warns me: Do Not Be Surprised)
----------------
Chris.
There are so many things that potentially happen to us as True Believers, both inside and outside of the Church. Some of those things may be joyful and amazing. Some of those things may be painful and difficult. Through Christ we are given Grace to face every situation.

Wait!

‘Wait.’
Psalm 27:14.
a) Wait for the Lord.
b) Be strong.
c) Let your heart take courage.
d) Again, wait for the Lord.
(Through this QT I am reminded to Wait)
---------------
‘Flowing Comfort.’
2 Corinthians 1:3-4.
a) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. (We should keep our positive attitude)
b) He is the Father of Mercies.
c) He is the God of all Comfort.
d) He Comforts us in our affliction.
e) With this Comfort we may be able to Comfort other people who are afflicted.
f) God’s Comfort can be passed on to other people.
(Through this Second one I find the Blessing there is in Flowing Comfort)
---------------
Chris.
We are Biblically encouraged to wait for the Lord. We live in an age where instant things are often demanded. Even some people look for instant healings, instant Blessings and so forth. The Church, in many instances, has lost the Grace of Waiting. This is why many Christians seem so weak. It is those people who Wait on the Lord who will renew their strength.

True Knowledge Humbles Us!

‘True Knowledge Humbles Us.’
1 Corinthians 8:2-3.
a) The person who thinks that they “know” something is actually proud.
b) They do not yet know in the way that they ought to know.
c) If anyone loves God.
d) God knows them.
(Through this QT I understand that True Knowledge Humbles Me)
--------------
‘True Knowledge Makes Us More Christ-Like.’
Romans 8:28-29.
a) We know that God causes everything to work together for good to those people who love Him.
b) These people are Called according to God’s Purpose.
c) God knew these people in advance.
d) God determined in advance that these people would be conformed to the pattern of His Son.
e) This fulfils the Old Testament Prophecy that Jesus Christ would be the first-born among many brothers (and sisters).
(This Second one teaches me that True Knowledge Makes Me More Christ-Like)
--------------
Chris.
Do we love God? Or do we simply say that because as Christians we think that we should love Him. One of the evidences of the life of the True Believer is a deep and unswerving Love for God in the same way that Job loved Him and in the same way that Jesus called His Disciples to love Him. If we are a True Believer we love Him even though He may slay us. If we are a True Believer we are willing to lay down our lives for Him. Through my recent cancer surgery and enforced “rest” I have come to love God more.

Just Principles And Actions!

‘Just Principles And Actions.’
Proverbs 14:34.
a) Righteousness makes a Nation great. This means righteous laws and righteous actions.
b) This will raise the Nation to a place of honour.
c) Proverbs 13:6. Godliness helps people all through life.
d) Sin is a disgrace to any people, it degrades them.
(This QT encourages me to have Just Principles And Actions)
-------------
‘The Effect Of God’s Discipline.’
a) Psalm 119:67. It causes us to closely follow His Word.
b) Deuteronomy 11:8-9. If we obey the Commands of the Lord we will enjoy a long life in our inheritance from the Lord.
c) 2 Chronicles 7:13-14. Will cause us to humble ourselves and come back to Him.
d) Job 5:17; Psalm 94:12. It brings us Joy.
e) Psalm 119:75. It meets my need.
f) Proverbs 3:11-12. A secure relationship with Him.
g) Hebrews 12:7-9. His Father’s Love becomes a reality.
h) Hebrews 12:11. Right living.
(This Second one teaches me The Effect Of God’s Discipline)
-------------
Chris.
Sin is a degrading disgrace to any people. For Church people to make an excuse for their sins makes a mockery of the Word of God and of the Power of the Cross. Let us endeavour to be people who live in Victory over sin.

The Lord’s Counsel And Encouragement!

‘The Lord’s Counsel And Encouragement.’

b) God is speaking to us as His Children.
c) Do not despise the Lord’s Discipline.
d) We should not lose heart when the Lord corrects us.
e) The Lord disciplines those people whom He Loves.
f) The Lord chastens everyone He accepts as His child.

j) Philippians 4:2. Individual people in the Church who are in conflict to reconcile.
k) 1 Thessalonians 4:1. The Church that they will live lives that are increasingly pleasing to God.
l) Hebrews 13:22. The Church to receive the Word of Exhortation.
m) 1 Peter 2:11. The Church to abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul.
(Through this Second one I am encouraged to Beseech – Sometimes I Need To)
------------
Chris.
Every True Believer has a Calling from God. This is not just some kind of abstract religious thought it is supposed to be a reality in our lives. We often receive our Calling when we are in fellowship with other True Believers who are our Brothers and Sisters in Christ. We will never discover our Calling if we cannot fellowship in the Body of Christ.

Love In Corinthians!

‘Love In Corinthians.’
Pride, lust and all kinds of sexual sins were prevalent in Corinthian society in the days of the Bible. Apostle Paul clearly tells them what and how to love.
a) 1 Corinthians 8:1. Love builds up other people.
b) 1 Corinthians 2:9; 8:3. Love God.

4- Does not boast.
5- Is not arrogant.
g) 1 Corinthians 13:5. Love:-
1- Is not selfish.
2- Is not quick tempered.
3- Does not keep a record of wrongs that other people do.
h) 1 Corinthians 13:6. Love rejoices in the Truth but not in evil.
i) 1 Corinthians 13:7. Love:-
1- Bears all things.
2- Believes all things.
3- Hopes all things.
4- Endures all things.
j) 1 Corinthians 13:8. Love never fails.
k) 1 Corinthians 13:13. Love is greater than Faith and Hope.
l) 1 Corinthians 14:1. Love should be pursued.

q) 2 Corinthians 8:24. Love should be proven.
r) 2 Corinthians 13:11. Love is given by God.
(Through this QT I long to see Love in the Church the same as Love In Corinthians)
-----------
‘When Adam Sinned.’
Romans 5:12.
a) Sin entered the entire human race.
b) Adam’s sin brought death.
c) Death spread to everyone.
d) Everyone sinned.
(Through this Second one I fully understand the result of When Adam Sinned)
-----------
Chris.
Love should be in everything we do. This is God’s standard for our behaviour, whether it is private or public. When we do things without Love then life becomes so dry and meaningless.

Be Wise And Stay Wise!

‘Be Wise And Stay Wise.’

7- Hating other people.
j) 1 Peter 2:10. Once we were not a people.
k) 1 Peter 3:20. We disobeyed God.
(This Second one reminds me: Do Not Get Caught Up In Former Things)
---------
Chris.
The word ‘disobedient’ is not a word that we like to hear. Both obedience and disobedience are words that preachers who want to be popular with the people will avoid. The Bible, however, encourages us to be obedient to God.

Come To God!

(This Second one has me in awe of God’s Creation)
--------
Chris.
Ask in the Name of Jesus. When we have requests to make of God, the Bible exhorts us to ask in the Name of Jesus. The Lord Jesus made this particular aspect very clear in His Teachings, we ask the Father in the Name of Jesus Christ His Son.

If The Husband Dies!

‘If The Husband Dies.’
1 Corinthians 7:39-40.
Here is some more of God’s counsel offered by Apostle Paul to the early (Corinthian) Church which could also be of help to us today.
a) The wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives.
b) If the husband dies then she is free to marry anyone she wishes to.
c) The new husband should be a True Believer.
d) Paul’s opinion is that she would probably be happier if she did not remarry.
e) When he wrote this Apostle Paul sensed this advice was from the Holy Spirit.
(This QT shows me what may happen to the wife If The Husband Dies)
-------
‘At The Potter’s House.’
Jeremiah 18:1-6.
a) Jeremiah 18:1. This was a Word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord.

f) Jeremiah 18:6. The Lord deals with His People as the potter deals with his pots.
(Through this Second one I confess that I am At The Potter’s House)
-------
Chris.
Jeremiah wisely obeyed the Lord. It is always wise, whoever we are, to obey the Lord. The place of Obedience is a very safe place to be in. When the Lord speaks to us we should obey Him.

j) Isaiah 28:15. Is never in lies.
(This QT reminds me that a place of Refuge is very important)
-------
‘Seek The Lord.’
a) Deuteronomy 4:29; Proverbs 8:17. We will find Him if we seek Him with all of our heart.
b) Hebrews 11:6. He will reward us.
c) Isaiah 55:6. While He may be found.

e) 1 Chronicles 16:11. Seek:-
1- The Lord.
2- His Strength.
3- His Face.
(Through this Second one I am encouraged to Seek The Lord)
-------
Chris.
Seek the Lord with our whole heart. Wholehearted Faith must be a part of the life of every True Believer. There will be times when we need to seek the Lord, we seek Him in His Word and we seek Him through Prayer.

The Intercessor!

‘The Intercessor.’
Jeremiah 9:1-3.
One of the ministries of the Intercessor is to “stand in the gap” between God and His People, especially at times when His People have wandered far from Him.
a) Jeremiah 9:1. Jeremiah really had a desire to weep for God’s People.
b) Jeremiah 9:2. On the other side of his heart he had had enough and he wanted to quit and run away.
c) Jeremiah 9:3. God’s assessment of His People’s condition:-
1- Their words are too sharp.
2- They tell lies.
3- They proceed from evil to evil.
4- They do not really know God.
(This QT reveals to me the heart and ministry of The Intercessor)
------
‘They Missed It.’
Luke 19:41-42.
a) Jesus came near to Jerusalem and wept over it.
b) They did not recognise the things that made for Peace.
c) Now those things had become hidden from their eyes.
(Through this Second one I can see that They Missed It)
------
Chris.
They missed it. These were sad words and a sad reflection on the people of Jerusalem. Yet these words could be repeated over and over again all over the Earth. So many times it seems that God’s People, the Church, have missed it or are missing it.

He Has Decided Firmly Not To Marry!

‘He Has Decided Firmly Not To Marry.’
1 Corinthians 7:37-38.
a) He has no compulsion to marry.
b) He has made up his mind and has complete control over his will.
c) He does well not to marry.
d) Both the man who marries and the man who does not marry do well.
(This QT gives me the motivation to pray for and respect the man who says that He Has Decided Firmly Not To Marry, whether it is a temporary decision or a permanent one)
-----
‘Compelled To Pray.’
Jeremiah 8:20-22.
a) Jeremiah 8:20. Harvest is past and the summer is over and yet the Lord’s people are still not saved.
b) Jeremiah 8:21. Jeremiah cares about the condition of God’s People:-
1- He weeps for their hurt.
2- He is stunned.
3- He is silent.
4- He is mute with grief.
c) Jeremiah 8:22. There is no:-
1- Medicine.
2- Physician.
3- Healing.
(Through this Second one I am Compelled To Pray For The Church)
-----
Chris.
Do we weep for the hurts of God’s People. There are so many hurting people in the churches. There are people whose marriages are breaking or broken, people who have been hurt or offended by other church people and people who cannot trust their leaders any more. Let us have hearts to pray for these people, then surely we will weep for their hurts.

God’s Heart For The Poor People!

‘God’s Heart For The Poor People.’
Proverbs 14:31.
a) The oppressor of the poor people insults his Maker.
b) The one who is kind to the needy people Honours his Maker.
c) Job 31:15-19. God created the:-
1- Employer.
2- Servants.
3- Poor people.
4- Helpless widows.
5- Hungry orphans.
6- Homeless people.
7- People without enough clothes.
d) God is interested in the treatment given to the poor people.
e) If we have true honour for God, we will show it by compassion to the poor people.
(Through this QT I am moved by God’s Heart For The Poor People)
----
‘Have Faith In God.’
a) Hebrews 10:38; Romans 1:17; 4:22. A Righteous person lives by Faith.
b) Mark 11:23-24. We should:-
1- Believe.
2- Pray.
3- Not doubt.
c) Luke 7:50; 8:48. It saves us so that we can go in Peace.
d) Luke 18:8. When Jesus returns He will be looking for it in us.
e) Acts 3:16. We may be healed in the Name of Jesus.
f) Romans 4:11; 5:1; Galatians 3:24. It makes us right with Him.
g) Romans 4:13. Then we can have a relationship with Him.
h) Galatians 3:7. It makes us a real child of Abraham.
i) Galatians 3:14. We can receive the Promise of the Holy Spirit.
j) Ephesians 6:16; 1 Thessalonians 5:8. It is our shield against Satan’s fiery arrows.
k) Hebrews 11:2. God will give His Approval.
l) Hebrews 11:6. Then it is possible to please Him.
m) 1 Peter 1:21. With confidence.
(Through this Second one I am encouraged to Have Faith In God)
----
Chris.
When Jesus returns He will be looking for Faith in us. Faith is an essential part of the life of the True Believer, a real and lived out Faith. Just works and sacrifices alone do not please God, we need to have Faith.

We Need To Learn To Respond To God!

‘We Need To Learn To Respond To God.’
Matthew 12:41-42.
a) This is the Teaching of Jesus Christ.
b) He speaks about the men of Nineveh who repented of their sin when Jonah confronted them with God’s Message.
c) Many people in this generation have rejected God’s Message and they are accountable to God for doing that.
d) The Gentile Queen of the South came to hear Solomon’s Wisdom.
e) Now Jesus Christ is here – He is alive. He is the Judge of all people. How do we respond to Him?
(This QT reminds me that I Need To Learn To Respond To God)
---
‘Be Like Caleb.’
Numbers 14:22-24.
a) Numbers 14:22. The people saw the miraculous things that God did in Egypt. They experienced much Grace. They saw also what God did for them in the desert.
b) Numbers 14:22. But:-
1- They did not obey God.
2- They put God to the test many times.
3- They will not see the land God Promised to them.
c) Numbers 14:23. Even though God Promised with an oath to give the land to His People – they did not enter in because they treated Him with contempt.
d) Numbers 14:24. Caleb was different – he had the Holy Spirit with him. He followed the Lord with his whole heart. Caleb and his descendants will enter and receive the Promised land.
(Through this Second one I am challenged to Be Like Caleb)
---
Chris.
It is a very foolish thing to do when we put God to the test. It really means that although we may know God’s way and what He wants us to do, we do not do it but we compromise and go our own way.

Do The Right Thing!

‘Do The Right Thing.’
1 Corinthians 7:36.
These are days when sexual promiscuity is very much accepted culturally in most parts of the World. The Bible is an up to date book for every generation. Here is something that Apostle Paul wrote about this matter.
a) If a man is aware that he is not doing the right thing by the girl he is engaged to.
b) If there is strong sexual desire so that marriage ought to happen.
c) The man should marry the girl. There should be no immorality.
(This QT sends out a plea – Do The Right Thing – it will not be regretted)
-------------------------
‘God Is In Control Of Every Situation.’
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12.
a) 2 Thessalonians 2:10. There are some people who do not receive the love of the Truth which could save them. They reject the Gospel.
b) 2 Thessalonians 2:10. Satan deceives these people who reject the Gospel in all kinds of wicked ways.
c) 2 Thessalonians 2:11. God then causes them to go astray and keep believing the lie of Satan. Notice that this means that the Hand of God is still on their lives.
d) 2 Thessalonians 2:12. The result of these people lives will be condemnation if:-
1- They do not believe the Truth.
2- They take pleasure in wickedness.
3- Do not repent.
(This Second one sombrely reminds me that God Is In Control Of Every Situation)
-------------------------
Chris.
God is in control. We can really Trust Him if we are True Believers. Life is not supposed to be an exhausting battle between light and darkness or God and Satan. We can pray with Faith and Confidence knowing that God is in control.

Jealousy!

‘Jealousy.’
a) Proverbs 14:30. Can rot our life away.
b) Job 5:2. Has a destructive power.
c) Acts 7:9. Can occur in our own family.
d) Romans 1:29. Is wickedness.
(This QT makes me want to keep free from Jealousy)
------------------------
‘Treasure The Word Of God.’
a) Deuteronomy 6:7; 11:19. In the family.
b) 2 Chronicles 17:9. Take it and teach the people.
c) Ezra 7:10. Study it.
d) Nehemiah 8:8. Clearly explain it to people and help them understand it.
e) Matthew 15:10. We are to listen to it and try to understand.
f) Luke 24:45. The Lord can open our minds to understand it.
(Through this Second one I want to always Treasure The Word Of God)
------------------------
Chris.
Jealousy has a destructive power. Marriages can be destroyed by it. Friendships can be broken by it. Confidence can be lost through it. Some people justify jealousy by saying that everyone has a problem with it. This is incorrect thinking, if we have the sin of jealousy we should repent of it and renounce it.

(This QT encourages me to Receive Grace)
-----------------------
‘No Hardness Or Fear In Our Hearts.’
John 12:39-42.
a) John 12:39. There is always a reason for unbelief.
b) John 12:40. God made their eyes blind and their hearts hard. So they could not see with their eyes and understand with their hearts.
c) John 12:40. If they could see and understand they could be converted and healed.
d) John 12:41. Isaiah saw the Glory of the Lord and spoke about Him.
e) John 12:42. Many of the Jewish leaders Believed the Message but because of fear of the Pharisees would not confess Christ openly. They were afraid of being put out of the synagogue.
(This Second one causes me to Pray – Let there be No Hardness Or Fear In My Heart)
-----------------------
Chris.
We are all encouraged to receive Grace. Grace is much needed. None of us can be anything without the Grace of God. Apostle Paul on several occasions reminds us of this. Let us always be thankful to God for His Grace.

e) 1 Corinthians 7:34. A married woman has to consider how to please her husband.
f) 1 Corinthians 7:35. We should not have restrictions put on us but we should be free.
g) 1 Corinthians 7:35. We should all simply live in the proper way and serve the Lord with undivided devotion.
(This QT teaches me In My Status Now Do What Is Right)
----------------------
‘The Unsearchable Part Of God.’
a) Job 11:7. Can we by searching find out God?
b) Genesis 32:29. God would not reveal His Name to Jacob.

e) Romans 11:34; 1 Corinthians 2:16. Who can know what the Lord is thinking.
(Through this Second one I revere The Unsearchable Part Of God)
----------------------
Chris.
God is not at our command or order. We are to Trust Him even when we do not understand Him. It is heresy when we tell God what to do in our Prayers. We need to take heed to His Word and to His Spirit and do what He wants us to do.

u) 2 Timothy 2:24. A Servant of the Lord must be.
v) Hebrews 6:12. Until God keeps His Promise to us.
w) Hebrews 10:36. Now and continue to do God’s Will.
x) James 5:7. Until the Lord returns.
y) Revelation 2:2 & 19. Christ knows all about the situation.
(This QT strongly calls me to Be Patient)
---------------------
‘Amazing God.’
Romans 11:33.
a) Has deep riches of Wisdom and Knowledge.
b) Makes unsearchable Judgments.
c) Has untraceable Ways.
(This Second one has me in awe of Amazing God)
---------------------
Chris.
We are urged to be Patient until the Lord returns. It means that our patience should be a life-long virtue. It is easy not to be Patient when we are hurting or angry, that is why we need to come to God in Prayer for His help at such times.

2- Seed.
3- Bread.
m) Isaiah 55:11. The Word that goes forth out of God’s Mouth:-
1- Shall not return to Him void.
2- Shall accomplish that which He pleases.
3- Shall succeed in what He sends it to do.
n) Isaiah 55:12. God’s People shall go out with Joy.
o) Isaiah 55:13. Even the environment will be changed for the Glory of God.
(This QT is For Everyone Who Is Thirsty)
--------------------
‘No Need To Be Weary.’
Isaiah 40:28-31.
a) Isaiah 40:28. We need to know and remember the:-
1- Lord.
2- Everlasting God.
3- Creator of the ends of the Earth.
b) Isaiah 40:28. Our God:-

--------------------
Chris.
I meet some people today who are faint and powerless as far as their spiritual life and the things of God are concerned. There is a whole catalogue of reasons why this may be so, but it is not good to hold on to excuses. The fact is that the Lord can renew us and give us Strength.

Keep Our Priority Correct!

‘Keep Our Priority Correct.’
1 Corinthians 7:29-31.
These verses were written by Apostle in the Light and Understanding that he had of the Return of Jesus Christ. These verses are not laws but they set good principles for us.
a) 1 Corinthians 7:29. Marriage is secondary to our Relationship with God. We should not neglect our family but keep family relationships in the right perspective.
b) 1 Corinthians 7:30. Truth is more important than expression of emotions.
c) 1 Corinthians 7:30-31. We should not be over occupied with material things.
d) 1 Corinthians 7:31. Remember that this World will not last forever.
(This QT focuses me to Keep My Priority Correct)

b) God does what He wishes with the armies of Heaven.
c) God does what He wishes with those people living on Earth.
d) Nobody can oppose God’s Will.
e) Nobody can question what God does.
(Through this Second one I can totally Trust God, God Knows – I Don’t)
-------------------
Chris
Some Christian people have an inflated view of themselves they think that they are “something” in this World system. That is wrong – all that we are and will be is because of God’s Grace. True Believers both seek and live for the Glory of God.

e) From long ago God tells us things that have not yet happened.
f) God’s Plan will stand.
g) God will do everything that He intends to do.
(This Second one, From The Beginning, gives me great Confidence in God)
------------------
Chris.
God is God and there is no other. We can totally Trust God even when the going seems difficult, because God is God. Let us give Him our burdens and affirm in Prayer and Praise our Trust in God.

d) Colossians 4:12. Epaphras Prayed.
e) 2 Corinthians 7:7. The Corinthian Church had Love with it for Apostle Paul.
f) James 5:16. Righteous people can Pray with it.
g) James 5:17. Elijah Prayed with it.
(Through this QT I learn that there are two things that I am encouraged to do With Fervency, Pray and Love)
------------------
‘Keep On Praying.’
a) 1 Thessalonians 5:17. Pray without ceasing.
b) Luke 18:1. We need to Pray constantly.

f) 1 Peter 4:7. Be earnest and disciplined in our Prayers.
(This Second one urges me to Keep On Praying)
------------------
Chris.
It is noted in the Scripture that Epaphras was a man who Prayed. It would be wonderful if more and more men and women who are True Believers would become people who sincerely Pray.

Being Married!

‘Being Married.’
a) 1 Corinthians 7:28 & 33-34. Is a very good thing to be but we also have to face the adjustment of totally sharing our life with our spouse.
b) Matthew 5:32; 19:9. Under normal circumstances is something that we should consider as a lifetime relationship.
c) Matthew 22:30; Luke 20:34. Is only for this Earth, there is no marriage in Heaven.

c) Luke 6:13. When it was daytime He called all the Disciples to Himself.
d) He chose the twelve Apostles.
e) This was a very important time. These were the men who would continue the Ministry that Jesus had begun.
f) Jesus needed to seek the Will of God here, if He did how much more do we need to?
(This Second one shows me An Important Night Of Prayer)
-----------------
Chris.
Jesus Prayed all night to God, the Son of God praying to Father God. When we need to know the Will of God and important steps regarding our future, do we Pray to God? We live in days when many people treat the Servant of the Lord like a fortune teller and look for a “prophecy” to tell them what to do. This is really not the way, we need to Pray to God.

In The Fear Of The Lord!

‘In The Fear Of The Lord.’
Proverbs 14:26-27.

a) The Disciples were so emotionally disturbed and frightened that they were shouting at Jesus.
b) They believed that they were going to drown.
c) Jesus rebuked the wind.
d) Jesus rebuked the raging waves.
e) The storm stopped.
f) All was calm.
(Through this Second one I want to proclaim that even in the most difficult circumstances I Will Not Drown)
----------------
Chris.
In the Lord is a place of Refuge. This is a wonderful assurance for every True Believer. We can come to Him and always find Refuge in Him. It is also a relevant message to share with the non believer. Many people today are looking for security and do not know where to find it. We have the Truth to share with them, in the Lord is a place of Refuge.

Knowing The Father!

‘Knowing The Father.’
John 14:7-9.
a) John 14:7. Because we know Christ, we know also the Father.
b) John 14:7. In seeing Christ we see also the Father. The Father reveals Himself in and through the Son.
c) John 14:8. Philip’s incorrect concept. “Show us the Father.”

(Through this QT I am helped in Knowing The Father)
---------------
‘God Revealed.’
John 1:1-14.
a) John 1:1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (The Word here is Jesus Christ)
b) John 1:2. The Word was with God from the beginning.

1- The Glory of the Father’s only Son.
2- Fullness of Grace.
3- Fullness of Truth.
(Through this Second one I see God Revealed in Jesus Christ)
---------------
Chris.
Since the very earliest days of the New Testament people have been rejecting the Light. This fact should stimulate two major things in the Church. Firstly, intercession for those who have not yet received the Light, and secondly, Biblical and loving Evangelism especially through friendship.

The Christian Life!

'The Christian Life.' a)  Deuteronomy 7:11. Keep the Word of  God. b)  Deuteronomy  7:12. Listen to the Word of God. c)  Deuteronomy...
