The Land Of Nothing!

‘The Land Of Nothing.’

Isaiah 34:11-12.

a)   Living in the land of nothing are:-

1-   Hawks.

2-  Porcupines.

3-  Owls.

4-  Ravens.

b)    God observes that land and finds it worthy of destruction.

c)    God will test that land’s nobles and find them worthy of death.

d)   It will be called The Land Of Nothing.

e)    Its princes soon will all be gone.

(This QT reveals to me The Land Of Nothing)

‘Tell It To The Prisoners Of Darkness.’

Isaiah 49:9-10.

a)   Through you I am saying to the prisoners of darkness.

b)    Come out, I am giving you your Freedom.

c)    They will be the Lord’s sheep grazing in green pastures and grassy hills.

d)   They will not be affected any more by:-

1-   Hunger.

2-  Thirst.

3-  Searing sun.

4-  Scorching desert winds.

e)    The Lord, in His Mercy, will lead them beside still waters.

(This gives me the desire to Tell It To The Prisoners Of Darkness)

When people are affected by hunger they have a miserable existence. I read that there is no need for anyone in the entire World to live in hunger any more. All those who are hungry should be fed. There is enough money in the World, along with employment opportunities for people, to alleviate the problem of hunger.

The Sun!

‘The Sun.’

Psalm 19:5.

a)     God makes the Sun move out across the skies.

b)     The Sun is as radiant as a bridegroom going to his wedding.

c)     The Sun is as joyous as an athlete racing towards the tape.

(This QT causes me to Thank God for The Sun)

John 8:32.

a)     We will know the Truth.

b)     Truth is not only information, it is experience.

c)     Truth will set us free.

(Through this Second one I learn not to underestimate The Power Of Truth)

God makes the Sun move out across the skies. Some of our finest Worship Songs and Hymns are about God’s Creation. When we look at all that God has made, how can we help but offer to Him our Praise and Worship. When looking at the things and the people around us we should be conscious of God’s Good Hand.

d)     Matthew 28:9. Jesus Christ Himself gave Greetings!

e)     Acts 21:9. Can be exchanged.

‘A New Creation.’

2     Corinthians 5:17.

a)     This applies to any person who is truly in Jesus Christ.

b)     They become a New Creation – a brand new person inside.

c)     The old things have passed away.

d)     A New Life has begun.

(Through this Second I thank God that I am A New Creation)

Jesus Christ Himself gave Greetings. One of the most important Biblical injunctions for the Church is that we should greet one another as we gather together to fellowship. We should not only greet our friends, we should greet the strangers also. We should be able to greet people that have issues in their lives that make it difficult for them to be greeted. Let us greet one another.

When God's Judgment Comes Upon The Land!

Isaiah 34:10.

a)     It is never ending.

b)     Its smoke will rise up for ever.

c)     The Land will lie deserted from generation to generation.

d)     No one will live in the land any more.

(This QT shows me what happens When God’s Judgement Comes Upon The Land)

‘We Use God’s Mighty Weapons.’

2 Corinthians 10:3-5.

a)     2 Corinthians 10:3. We live and walk as ordinary human beings in the flesh.

b)     2 Corinthians 10:3. We do not attempt to win our battles in life with human plans and methods.

c)     2 Corinthians 10:4. We use God’s Mighty Weapons to knock down the Devil’s strongholds.

d)     2 Corinthians 10:5. These weapons:-

1-    Cast down imaginations.

2-   Break down every proud argument against God.

3-   Breaks down every wall that can keep men from finding God.

e)     2 Corinthians 10:5. These weapons:-

1-    Can capture rebels and bring them back to God.

2-   Bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

3-   Change men into men whose heart’s desire is obedience to Christ.

(This Second one reminds me that I need to Use God’s Mighty Weapons)

The use of the weapons that God gives us is always aimed at a victorious eventuality. Sometimes the way in which these weapons are use differs somewhat but the final outcome should be the same. To follow or to serve the Lord without taking up the weapons that He wants to give us is really a foolish thing to do.

The Fate Of The Ungodly!

‘The Fate Of The Ungodly.’

Psalm 1:4.

a)   The ungodly people are not the same as the Godly people.

b)    They are like the chaff.

c)    It is blown away by the wind.

(This QT teaches me about The Fate Of The Ungodly)

‘Controlled People Or Followers.’

Romans 8:5.

a)   Those people who let themselves be controlled by their lower natures.

b)    They live only to please themselves.

c)    They are thinking and caring about only the things of the flesh.

d)   Those people who follow after the Holy Spirit.

e)    They find themselves doing the things that are pleasing to God.

(This Second challenges me: Am I a Controlled Person Or A Follower?)

There are many times in our lives when we need to refresh our knowledge and study of God’s Word. Sometimes we go through experiences and trials in our lives that can take away our spiritual ‘sparkle’ if we let them. That is not God’s Plan or Intention. Through those times God actually wants us to grow in our Faith. 

Good Motives For Communication!

‘Good Motives For Communication.’

1 Peter 5:12.

a)   Through somebody who is known as faithful.

b)    Efficiency. Putting it clearly and precisely.

c)    Should be:-

1-   Encouraging.

2-  Exhorting.

3-  Testifying.

d)   Truth.

e)    The Grace and Blessing of God.

f)    Helping other people to stand in the Lord.

(This QT teaches me Good Motives For Communication)

‘There Was A Further Need.’

Hebrews 7:11-12.

a)   If the Jewish Levitical Priest hood had been able to Save us.

b)    It was the perfect Law of God.

c)    Why then, did God need to send Christ as a Priest with the rank of Melchizedek?

d)   He did not send someone with the rank of Aaron.

e)    For the Priesthood being transposed the Law must also be changed.

(This Second one reveals that There Was A Further Need)

It is good and right that if we are True Believers we should be able to help other people to stand in the Lord. Of course, as True Believers, we Worship God Who is, or should be, the very Centre of our lives. The Scripture also tells us that we should be considerate towards other people. One of the ways in which we can do this is to help them to stand in the Lord.
