'Betrayal.'
a) Matthew 26:14-16; 20:18. Is something that
Jesus suffered.
b) Matthew 24:10. Is something that Jesus said
could happen to any of us.
c) 1 Samuel 22:9-10. Doeg did it to David.
d) Judges 1:24-25. A man did it to his city.
(Through this QT I am reminded how bad Betrayal
really is)

'Called By God.'
a) Matthew 22:14. Many are.
b) Isaiah 45:22; 55:6. We need to look to the
Lord and seek the Lord in response to His Calling.
c) Ezekiel 33:11; John 5:40. It is a calling to
Holiness and Life.
d) Matthew 11:28. In God's Calling there is
invitation and Peace.
e) John 7:37; Revelation 22:17. It is for the
thirsty people.
f) Romans 10:17. Through hearing His Word.
g) Luke 14:16-23. Is persistent.
h) Matthew 23:37. Is compassionate.
i) Acts 7:51. It is through the wooing of the
Holy Spirit.
j) Hebrews 12:25. Should not be refused.
k) 2 Corinthians 2:16; 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14.
Through the Preaching of the Gospel.
l) Romans 1:7; 1 Corinthians 1:2. To be Saints.
m) 1 Corinthians 1:23-24. To experience Christ,
the Power of God and the Wisdom of God.
n) 1 Peter 1:15; 1 Thessalonians 4:7. To
Holiness.
o) Revelation 17:14. True Believers are:-
1-Called.
2-Chosen.
3-Faithful.
p) Romans 8:28. According to His Purpose.
q) Romans 8:30. Because we are predestined.
r) Romans 8:30. And Justified.
s) Romans 11:29. He does not change His Mind.
t) 2 Timothy 1:9. A Holy Calling.
u) Philippians 3:14. A High Calling.
v) Hebrews 3:1. A Heavenly Calling.
w) 1 Corinthians 1:9. A Calling into fellowship
with God's Son.
x) 1 Peter 3:9. A Calling to inherit a Blessing.
y) Galatians 5:13. A Calling to Freedom.
z) 1 Corinthians 7:15. A Calling to Peace.
a2) Ephesians 4:1. A Call to walk worthy.
b2) A Calling to Eternal Life.
c2) John 6:37. A Calling that comes from Father
God's Heart.
d2) Ephesians 1:4. A Calling that was made before
the foundation of the World.
(Through this Second one I rejoice and am in awe
of the fact that I am Called By God)

God is very reliable and not fickle. Sometimes
fickle people disappoint us with their broken promises and unreliable words and
actions. If we suffer from these experiences, we find it difficult to trust people and have a burdensome sense of having to do everything ourselves. God
wants to restore our trust because not all people are fickle. As we trust in
our reliable God, He can also restore our trust in people.
