‘When The Lord Takes Revenge.’

Isaiah 34:7-9.

a)   Isaiah 34:7. These will perish:-

1-   The strongest people.

2-  Young boys.

3-  Veterans.

b)    Isaiah 34:7. The land will be soaked with blood and the soil made rich with fat.

c)    Isaiah 34:8. It is the Day of Vengeance and the Year of Recompense for what Edom has done against Israel.

d)   Isaiah 34:9. The streams of Edom will be filled with burning pitch, and the ground will be covered with fire.

(Through this QT I see the awful things that can take place When The Lord Takes Revenge)

‘The Calling Of God.’

Hebrews 5:4-5.

a)   This is to be remembered.

b)    No one can choose to be a High Priest just because he wants to be one. (It is the same with any and every ministry today)

c)    The High Priest has to be called by God for his Ministry.

d)   Christ did not choose for Himself the Glory of the position of High Priest. He was chosen by God.

e)    He was Honoured by God, the One Who said: “You are My Son, today I have begotten (honoured) You”.

(This Second one helps me to understand more about The Calling Of God)

Christ did not choose for Himself the Glory of the position of High Priest, He was chosen by God. Ambition and ambitious are words that we need to discount when it comes to doing the Work of God’s Ministry. The Calling of God is something very precious and is something that He alone is responsible for.

We Know And We See!

‘We Know And We See.’

Deuteronomy 11:5-7.

a)     Deuteronomy 11:5. The Lord cared for His People as they were wandering in the desert before they arrived at the border of their Promised Land. This fact was well known by them.

b)     Deuteronomy 11:6. God’s People could recall what the Lord did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, descendants of Reuben. God opened the Earth and swallowed them up.

c)     Deuteronomy 11:7. God’s People were the ones who had seen all the great things thay the Lord had done.

(Through this QT I understand more of the Power of True Testimony: We Know And We See)

‘Aaron’s Priestly Garments.’

Exodus 28:3.

a)     They were made by skilled craftsmen.

b)     The craftsmen were given special skill and filled with a Spirit of Wisdom.

c)     These garments would set Aaron apart from other people.

d)     They were made so that Aaron could Minister to the Lord in the Priest’s Office and serve as Priest.

(This Second one reminds me of the Beauty and Holiness of Priesthood: Aaron’s Priestly Garments)

True Testimony must contain the element of ‘I see’. Every testimony that is given is given for the Glory of God. A Testimony belongs to the Lord so should never be second hand. When we Testify to something that is just hearsay it is actually a foolish thing to do. It becomes just a story and not a Testimony. 

A Big Amen!

1 Peter 5:11.

a)     To God.

b)     Be Power.

c)     Over all things.

d)     Forever and ever.

e)     Amen

‘Everything At The Correct Time.’

Numbers 35:28.

a)     Any person guilty of manslaughter.

b)     Must remain in the City of Refuge.

c)     Until the death of the High Priest.

d)     Only then may he return to his own land and home.

(This Second one puts life in perspective: Everything At The Correct Time)

Amen! When we say or write ‘Amen’. We should say or write it with conviction and in reality. One of the best translations says that ‘Amen’ means ‘so be it’. I think it is quite accurate. When we echo with the word ‘Amen’ that is exactly what we should be meaning. Some people have just got into the habit of saying ‘Amen’ but really have no understanding of why they are saying it.

God's Sword!

‘God’s Sword.’

a)     Isaiah 34:6. Is sated with blood.

b)     Jeremiah 12:12. Devours from one end of the Nation to the other.

c)     Jeremiah 47:6. Go back and rest.

d)     Ephesians 6:17. The Sword of the Holy Spirit which is the Word of God.

e)     Zechariah 11:17. God’s Sword will deal with the worthless shepherd.

(This QT shows me that God’s Sword is awesome)

‘The Spiritual Leader’s Family At Peace With God.’

Leviticus 16:6.

a)     The Spiritual leader must deal with their own sins first.

b)     The Leader makes Peace with the Lord first.

c)     Then the Leader can bring his family into Peace with the Lord.

(This Second one reveals to me The Spiritual Leader’s Family At Peace With God)

The Sword of the Holy Spirit is the Word of God. When anointed by the Holy Spirit and handled accurately by God’s People, the Word of God can achieve many wonderful things amongst God’s People. We do not, as some, “worship the Word”, rather we Worship the Life giving Author of the Word. God’s Truth has Power to set people free.

Adults Please Listen!

‘Adults Please Listen.’

Deuteronomy 11:2.

a)       God says “listen”.

b)       This is not for the Children, they do not understand.

c)       This is for the adults who have:-

1-       Experienced the Lord’s Punishments.

2-      Seen the Lord’s Greatness.

3-     Seen the Lords’ Awesome Power.

‘Doing It God’s Way.’

Leviticus 9:7.

a)       Leadership is functioning well.

b)       The first thing to do is to come to the altar.

c)       Offer the sin offering.

d)       Offer the burnt offering.

e)       The priest makes atonement for himself first.

f)        Then he makes atonement for the people.

g)       This is obedience to the Lord’s Commands – doing it God’s Way.

(Through this Second one I can see the importance of Doing It God’s Way)

Adults please listen. Most True Believer adults in the Churches world-wide have a good sense of responsibility for their Church and their family. This can be an excellent testimony life-style to those people who are not Church-goers. Most True Believers care for and about their families and other people well. My question is – how about themselves personally before God? That is also important. 

God Is Full Of Kindness!

‘God Is Full Of Kindness.’

1 Peter 5:10.

a)       There may well be times and seasons of suffering in our lives.

b)       God has not forgotten us – He is full of Kindness and gives all Grace.

c)       God will:-

1-       Make us strong.

2-      Support us.

3-     Restore us.

4-      Keep us from falling.

d)       God calls us to share in His Eternal Glory in Christ.

(This QT reminds me that God Is Full Of Kindness)

‘Even Leaders Sometimes Need To Confess Sin.’

Leviticus 4:22.

a)       Leaders sometimes sin:-

1-       By accident.

2-      Without realising it.

3-     Inadvertently.

4-      Unintentionally.

b)       They have done something that the Lord God Commanded must not be done.

c)       It means that they have disobeyed God.

d)       The guilty Leader needs to confess their inadvertent sin to God.

(This Second one teaches me that Even Leaders Sometimes Need To Confess To God)

Even Leaders sometimes need to confess sin. On the television news today was a football club manager confessing his verbal abuse to another manager of the opposing team. He was also apologising. Such an act of public humility can only enhance that manager’s reputation. In Church we need to learn this principle too. This confession and apology can bring great freedom and avoid long term conflicts.
