We May Face A Battle!

‘We May Face A Battle.’
Ephesians 6:12.
a)    We need very much to look at this in context. It was written to an entire Church and not an individual. It was also written to people who were True Believers in an environment of extreme occultism.
b)    The struggle was not against flesh and blood.
c)     John 17:15. The struggle the Ephesians had was against:-
1-   Authorities.
2-   Powers of the dark world.
3-   Spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
(Through this QT I know that I May Face A Battle)
---------
‘If You Want…Sometimes He Doesn’t Want.”
Matthew 17:4.
a)    Peter spoke to Jesus at the time of the Transfiguration.
b)    Lord, he said, it is good for us to be here.
c)     If you want.
d)     I will make three tabernacles here.
e)     One for:-
1-   You.
2-   Moses.
3-   Elijah.
f)     Jesus did not want that.
(This helps me in my Spiritual Life: If You Want … Sometimes He Doesn’t Want)
---------
Chris.

If you want … sometimes He does not want. There are times that we want something, even very much and yet, for some reason, the Lord does not want it. When the Lord does not want it then be sure that it is for our good. Maybe the timing is wrong or maybe we simply are just not to have it.

A Hope And An Inheritance!

‘A Hope And An Inheritance.’
1 Peter 1:3-4.
a)    We should Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
b)    According to His Mercy He has given us a New Birth and a Living Hope.
c)     This comes from the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
d)     He has given to us New Birth so that we might share in what belongs to Him.
e)     This is a Gift that can never:-
1-   Be destroyed.
2-   Spoil.
3-   Be corrupted.
4-   Fade away.
(This QT makes me grateful to God for A Hope And An Inheritance)
--------
‘We Still Sometimes Groan.’
Romans 8:23.
a)    We have the Holy Spirit as the Promise of future Blessing.
b)    We also groan inside ourselves as we look forward to the time when God will adopt us as full members of His Family..
c)     Then He will give to us everything that He has for us.
d)     He will raise our bodies and give Glory to them.
(Through this Second one I confess that I Still Sometimes Groan)
--------
Chris.

The true things of God can never be corrupted. They are ageless and Eternal. What God gives to His Children is Eternal Life, this can never be corrupted. The Gift of the Holy Spirit that comes to us when we receive Christ can never be corrupted. God wants it to grow and grow inside.

I Cannot Read It!

‘I Cannot Read It.’
Isaiah 29:11-12.
a)    The entire Prophetic Revelation is like words in a sealed scroll.
b)    If it is given to a person who can read and he is asked to read it.
c)     He will say that he cannot read it because it is sealed.
d)     If this document is given to a person who cannot read.
e)     Then he is asked to read it.
f)     He will reply that he cannot read it.
(This QT teaches me the importance of reading and understanding)
------------
‘We Should Not Compromise With Compromisers.’
Revelation 2:15.
a)    This is written to the Church in Pergamum.
b)    This Church was a compromising Church.
c)     They were teavhing the doctrine of the Nicolaitans.
d)     This was a doctrine of compromise.
e)     They were following the wrong teaching and holding on to it.
(This Second one reminds me that I Should Not Compromise With Compromisers)
------------
Chris.

It is pointless giving a document to a person who cannot read. There is much literature evangelism today that is very effective amongst people who can read. In the localities where we find extreme poverty, often along with it goes illiteracy. This is why other forms of Gospel Presentation are so necessary.

A Big If!

‘A Big If.’
2 Chronicles 7:14.
a)       This is what the Lord Said.
b)       If My People who are called by My Name.
c)        Will:-
1-     Humble themselves.
2-     Pray.
3-     Seek the Lord’s Face.
4-     Stop their evil ways.
d)       Then the Lord will:-
1-     Hear from Heaven.
2-     Forgive their sin.
3-     Heal their land.
(This QT shows me A Big If)
-----------
‘The Words Of The Angel.’
Revelation 10:5-6.
a)       The Angel that John saw, standing on the sea and on the land, raised his right hand to Heaven.
b)       The Angel made an oath by the One who lives forever and ever.
c)        The Creator of the:-
1.     Heavens.
2.     Earth.
3.     Sea.
4.     And everything in them.
d)      Here are the Angel’s Words: There will no longer be any delay.
(This Second one shows me meaningfully The Words Of The Angel)
-----------
Chris.
God is the Creator of all things. He is the Lord of Creation. There is nothing made that is not made by God. Even the great advances in science in our generations are all achieved because of the Triune God. As I look around I am frequently amazed by God’s Creation.

To The Believing Temporary Residents!

‘To The Believing Temporary Residents.’
1 Peter 1:1-2.
a)       Apostle Peter was directing this letter to the temporary alien residents scattered throughout:-
1-     Pontus.
2-     Galatia.
3-     Cappadocia.
4-     Asia.
5-     Bithynia.
b)       These Believers were known by Father God.
c)        They knew the Sanctifying Work of the Holy Spirit.
d)       They were to Obey Jesus Christ.
e)        They were sprinkled by the Blood of Jesus Christ.
f)        Their inheritance was Grace and Peace being multiplied to them.
(Through this QT I see how Apostle Peter really encouraged these temporary residents: To The Believing Temporary Residents)
----------
‘Our Response To The Witnesses.’
Hebrews 11:39-12:1.
a)       Hebrews 11:39. These witnesses gained approval for their Faith but they did not receive what was promised.
b)       Hebrews 11:40. Graciously God had provided something better for us so that they would not be made perfect without us.
c)        Hebrews 12:1. We have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us. (Those mentioned in Chapter 11).
d)       Hebrews 12:1. Our response should be to lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us and run with endurance the race that is set before us.
(This Second one shows me what My Response To The Witnesses Should Be)
----------
Chris.
We have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us. When we read Hebrews chapter eleven the Faith of the people mentioned there inspires our Faith. We do not try to copy them – that would be wrong. Our Faith is stimulated through reading their stories.

' Apostle Paul's Pure Ministry.'

‘Apostle Paul’s Pure Ministry.’ a) Colossians 1:28-29. His vision was simple: - 1-    2 Corinthians 8:9. Proclaim Christ. (Especially the...
