‘The Life of Anna.’
Luke 2:36-38
a) Verse 36. She lived in a generation, Blessing: -
i) Asher – Happy one; Phanuel – Face of God.
ii) Anna, the Prophetess, shows grace and favour - Job 5:26. Psalm 92:14.
b) Verse 37. Waiting for Jesus: In the temple, Worshipping God, Fasting, and Praying, (1 Timothy 5:5).
c) Verse 38. i) She was sensitive and came at the right time (Luke 2:27).
ii) She praised God (1 Corinthians 14:15-16).
iii) She talked about Jesus to all who waited for
Redemption (Ephesians 4:30).

‘The Appeal of the Gospel.’
a) 2 Corinthians 10:1. (Parakleo in Greek means appeal; comfort; encourage and urging) It is made with the Meekness and Gentleness of Christ.
i) Psalm 18:35. God’s Gentleness Multiplies Us.
b) 2 Corinthians 5:20. Be reconciled to God.
i) Job 22:21. If we are reconciled to God, we have
peace, and it goes well with us.
c) 2 Corinthians 6:1. Not Reject the Marvellous
Message of God’s Great Kindness.
i) Psalm 145:17. He is filled with kindness.
ii) Zephaniah 2:7.
d) Romans 12:1. Give our bodies to God as a living
sacrifice.
i) Hebrews 10:20-22.
e) Ephesians 4:1. Lead a life worthy of our
calling, for we have been called by God.
i) 1 Thessalonians 2:12. 4:1-2. A Life and walk
that grow in God.
f) 1 Peter 2:11. Keep away from Evil desires, because they fight against our souls. (2 Corinthians 7:1.)
