It is good to speak out, or at least to whisper our prayers, just as Nehemiah did. just "thinking" a prayer is not really praying at all. one of the 'lost' functions of the Church in UK today is the function of corporate prayer. It seems so often that when people come together to pray it becomes almost like a concert, it was not like that in Bible days. Quality of language does not enhance our prayers, the Holy Spirit does.
