As True Believers, there is a 'must' that we should have in common: this is having a strong desire for what is True and genuine. This is a positive and God-given desire. When we have this desire, we do not simply 'accept' every Message we hear, whatever kind of Message it is, Sunday Service Preaching, Bible Study, something broadcast over the media. We can and should 'test' what we hear with the Truth of God's Word. God's Word is the clear and only standard we have for testing every Message. This is nothing to do with feeling, it is to do with Truth and Fact, test it with the Truth of God's Word. If we are going to be able to do this, we need to read and study God's Word for ourselves. Eating "Daily Bread" keeps us "well fed".
