Isaiah 61:1-2.
a) The Spirit of the Lord God was upon Him.
b) He was anointed to bring Good News to the poor and humble people.
c) He was sent to bind up and heal broken hearted people.
d) He came to proclaim that captives will be set free.
e) He came to proclaim opening of the prison for those people who are bound.
f) He came to proclaim the year of the Lord's Favour.
g) He came to announce the day of vengeance of our God.
h) He came to comfort all those people who grieve and mourn.

Luke 10:37.
a) An expert in the Law of God was conversing with Jesus.
b) He gave Jesus an answer to the question He had asked.
c) The answer was about the person who was kind enough to help.
d) Jesus simply told this expert that he was to go and do likewise.

A part of what Jesus came and has come to do is to proclaim that captives will be set free. There are many people in the Nations of the Earth who are living or existing in emotional or spiritual conditions that they need to be set free from. If this is the case, the first person that these people need to come to is Jesus.
