We Can Come To God!

'We Can Come To God.'
Hebrews 10:22.
a)  Let us draw near with a sincere heart
b)  In the Assurance that Faith brings,
c)  Because we have had our hearts sprinkled clean
d)  From an evil conscience,
e)  And our bodies washed with pure water. (1 Corinthians 6:11)
(Through this QT I rejoice that I Can Come To God)
PRAY: To come to God.
------

e)  Numbers 22:38; 23:12; Deuteronomy 18:18. God's Servants should speak the Word that God puts in their mouth.
f)  Deuteronomy 31:19. God's People can have His Song in their mouth.
g)  1 Kings 22:23; 2 Chronicles 18:22. The Lord can put a lying spirit in the mouth of a strange 'prophet'.

(This Second one makes me seriously consider my mouth)
PRAY: That what we say will always be pleasing to the Lord.
------
Chris.
We need to take heed that our own mouth does not condemn us. The self-control of what we say is very important ... it is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes I tremble inside when I hear people saying bitter and vitriolic words. God has given us mouths as a part of His Plan, mouths to Bless Him and Bless and Edify other people. If our mouths - as Believers - are perpetually filled with negatives and gossips we are really missing God and His Will in our lives.

Justifiable And Righteous Anger!

-----
'Offer Ourselves To God.'
Romans 6:13.
a)  Do not present your members to sin
b)  As instruments for unrighteousness,
c)  But present yourselves to God
d)  As those who have been brought from death to life.
e)  And your members to God
f)  As instruments for righteousness.
(Through this Second one I desire to Offer Myself To God today)
PRAY: For the Churches to be filled with people who Offer Themselves To God.
-----
Chris.
There is a place for justifiable and righteous anger in the Body of Christ. This is an anger that needs to be expressed against injustice and sin. There needs to be righteous and God-Glorifying behavior in the Churches and Missions. If the Church or Mission compromises with sin then it loses its authority and power, then ceases to Glorify the Lord. The First Purpose of the Church is to Glorify God, the Second Purpose of the Church is to build up the Body of Christ and the Third Purpose of the Church is to bring the Message of Salvation to a lost World.

There are some Shepherds of God's People who are asleep. This is not sleep because of hard work, this is sleep because of depression and discouragement. Such Shepherds need humbly to find fellow ministers and friends to help them and not stay stuck in the depressive sleep. God's People should always be praying for their Shepherds.

PRAY: To be an Encourager of others.
---
Chris.
Envy is one of the greatest enemies of the growing Churches today. We should forsake all envy and feelings of unfairness. Envy in the Church comes from envy in individuals. When people properly deal with their personal envy problems the Church and Fellowship becomes much more pleasant and spiritually healthy.

Attempt At Unjust Resolution!

Genesis 34:5-6.
a)  Shechem had defiled Jacob's daughter Dinah.
b)  Jacob remained quiet until his sons returned home from the field.

'Ephesian Fallen Culture.'

a)  Once you were dead
b)  Because of your:
c)  Disobedience,
d)  Many sins,
e)  Failures.
(This Second one reveals Apostle Paul's love for the Ephesian Church, the beginning of teaching them how to be free in Christ)
PRAY: For our understanding of the way to Freedom in Christ: Ephesian Fallen Culture.
------------------
Chris.
There are many attempts made for resolution of conflict amongst Believers today. Some of them are really unjust, just a 'cover-up'! The resolution of a conflict does not mean that someone has to be humiliated and another one is exalted.
When a conflict is truly resolved, everyone concerned comes away from the resolution communication and experience with a 'free' heart. Yes, there may be some emotional bruises but they can and do heal.
True Peace and conflict resolution should be easier for those people who are in Jesus Christ than for others. If we are in Jesus Christ, God dwells within us to help us.
Please note well: the above comments cover 'conflict resolution', not sinful or crime issues which need to be dealt with in other ways. If we have been 'sinned against' that is very different to a simple conflict issue.
Buying someone a delicious meal or ice-cream, is not necessarily the way to resolution, although in some minor cases it may really help!

-----------------
'Life Giving God.'

PRAY: For Faith to Believe and Receive the Words of Jesus Christ, our Life Giving God.
-----------------
Chris.
The vast majority of people that God calls into Ministry serving the Church or the Mission field will surely face difficulties at times in their Ministries. This is normal and it is frequently referred to in the New Testament. It is most important that the Churches and the individual Believers should be praying for the Ministers and Missionaries.

-----------------
Chris.
Those people who are Believers in the Lord need to be alert with both our physical and spiritual eyes. One of the gentle rebukes given by the Lord to His Disciples was when they were sleeping instead of praying. In the Old Testament we can see similar incidents happening.
In these days we really need to keep spiritually alert and be living as God wants us to live.

Chris.
Whether rich or poor, if we are Followers of Jesus Christ, we need to follow His Way and His Principles for our lives. When we put ourselves and our ways first, we miss the best that God has for us. It does not matter how young or old we are, we should not forget that God's Way and God's Plan is best. We should never try to "push" our own way, rather, we should follow God's Way.

--------------
Chris.
We should live in response to all that the Lord has done for us. This is the only way in which we can progress along the pathway that the Lord has for us to walk along. If we lose sight of what the Lord has done, we tend to wander off the pathway. We need to continue to walk by Faith.

d)  God can give us an obedient heart.
(Through this Second one I thank God for His Gift for us of A New Heart)
PRAY: For a new heart if we know that we need one.
----------
Chris.
It seemed that, in the Old Testament days, the young women of Zion, even though they came from good Jewish families, were also well cared for in the environment in which they lived. Family cared for them and society cared about them. If the young women in the Churches today were well loved and cared for in both family and Church, there would be far fewer broken hearts all round!

(Through this Second one I understand that They Do Not Know God)
PRAY: For Love to be a major part of the life of your Church.
---------
Chris.
In several Nations there are now specific ministries that reach out to the fathers in the Churches. This is a very positive idea and quite an effective ministry. When Church families are in good condition, it means that in some way, they are experiencing the Blessing of the Lord. One of the most effective witnesses of the Lord in the Church is the family witness. Unchurched families are more likely to come to Church if they can see wholesome families in the Church.

--------
Chris.
Whatever God does is very good. He is Eternally Changeless. He says of Himself: 'I do not change!' That is why, when we come to God in Prayer, we can trust Him. To be sure, we will not always understand Him and we never will! BUT we can and should trust Him. Our Prayer time is a very important part of our relationship with God. To be sure, the enemy of our souls will try to deprive us of our personal time with God. Keep on coming to God in Prayer!

(This Second one reminds me of God's Incredible Love)

Chris.
The Lord Jesus Christ was and is the Spotless Lamb of God. He knew no sin, He did no sin, and yet, in His Humanity He took our sins upon Himself. He became the Sacrifice for our sins, that, through His Suffering and Death He paid the price to redeem us from the penalty for our sins. It is through Believing in Him and receiving Him personally as our Lord and Saviour that we can experience God's Great Gift of Salvation.

We should not receive the Grace of God in vain. Foremost, as God's Workers, we should never forget the Grace of God. The absolute whole reason we do what we do to serve the Lord is because of the Grace of God. Do not receive the Grace of God in vain.

'A New Creation.'
2 Corinthians 5:17.
a)  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,
b)  He is a New Creation.
c)  The old has passed away;
d)  Behold,
e)  The new has come.
(Through this Second one I thank God that I am in Christ)
PRAY: For personal assurance of being in Christ. [Being A New Creation]
------
Chris.
It seems that there was a spiritual principle, in the Old Testament, of naming the places where one had a significant encounter with God. It gives us a helpful example for our lives today, of naming significant places with significant names, usually names from Biblical origin. I know certain men and women of God today who do this.
I am not going to give examples, we know our own relationship with God and our own Prayer Life. We know how, where and when we maintain our personal QT lives.
These Biblically significant places really bring stability to our Spiritual life, both as we come to them, take time in them, and when we look back (remember) on them.
Probably, the most important part of our Spiritual life is our personal relationship with God. Believers who have 'grown up' in their relationship with Him who live mostly in a non-believing environment will value, not only their personal relationship with God but, also, the places where they can enjoy fellowship and participate in mutual Spiritual Life with other Believers.

-----
Chris.
Prayer for one another and Prayer for other people is both effective and important. We should be praying for those people who are having various kinds of difficulties. Although we may not understand them, there are, in our Churches some people who find night-time difficult. If we know of such people, our prayers can be so helpful.

Chris.
The Promises of God's Word, when relevant for our lives, are for us to Believe. There are many Promises in God's Word, we should not abuse them and Servants of the Lord should not manipulate True Believers with them. One of the dangers of some 'Television Ministries' is the manipulation of simple people, trying to get their money, takes place in their programs. We should avoid such programs and just watch edifying ministry.

BECAUSE OF A SIMPLE HEALTH PROCEDURE IN HOSPITAL, THERE WILL BE NO QT FOR A FEW DAYS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS.

d)  Is spirit.
(Through this Second one I can see A Clear Difference)
PRAY: To have a clear understanding and confidence that personally you are born of the Holy Spirit. {Jesus our Lord used the Words: "Born Again"}
---
Chris.
Jacob bought the land he camped on from the sons of Hamor. This really teaches us that in many ways Jacob had "Godly principles". He did not just move somewhere and not pay anything for it. He wanted to keep a clear conscience with God and man.
Jacob was not an invited guest of the sons of Hamor, nor was he a part of his family. He was just camping!
When we are family, or 'family of God' we can, and should, be free to live as a family but, if we are just living on someone's land, we should be able to pay for it unless the land owner has invited us to be there (even then there needs to be some kind of contract).
This applies very much to people involved in 'mission', having God's Provision does not necessarily mean that there is no need to pay for it, unless the person responsible tells us, with contract, or by agreement, that there is no need to pay.
