Humble Thinking Members!

‘Humble Thinking Members.’
Romans 12:3-4.
a)    This Message comes from the Grace of God.
b)    It is a Message for every True Believer.
c)     We are not to have high thoughts above what we should think.
d)    We are to think wise thoughts so that we can be wise people.
e)     God has dealt every True Believer with a measure of Faith.
f)     In one body there are many members and all the members have a different function.
(This QT urges me to be a Humble Thinking Member)

‘Correct Thinking Produces Correct Actions.’
Philippians 2:3-8.
a)    Philippians 2:3. Let nothing be done in the spirit of strife or vain glory.
b)    Philippians 2:3. In lowliness of mind we are to esteem other people as better than ourselves.
c)     Philippians 2:4. We are not just to regard our own interests but also the interests of other people.
d)    Philippians 2:5. We should have the same mind that was in Christ Jesus.
e)     Philippians 2:6. This is a humble mind.
f)     Philippians 2:7. This is the mind of a self emptying slave.
g)    Philippians 2:8. Christ Jesus humbled Himself to the death of the Cross.
(This Second one teaches me that Correct Thinking Produces Correct Actions)

Chris.
We are to think wise thoughts so that we can be wise people. The way we think, even when are hurting because of what other people have said or done about us or to us, is so important. Think wise thoughts. The way to think wise thoughts is to align our thoughts with the Word of God. If we do this we can become wise people.

When Christ's Word Dwells Richly In Us!

‘When Christ’s Word Richly Dwells In Us.’
Colossians 3:16-17.
a)    It is something that we need to allow to happen.
b)    It can be in all of its richness.
c)     It should be as we:-
1-  Teach one another.
2-  Counsel one another.
3-  Admonish one another.
d)    We have Wisdom from God.
e)     With gratitude in our hearts to God we sing:-
1-  Psalms.
2-  Hymns.
3-  Spiritual songs.
f)     Everything that we do or say we do it all in the Name of the Lord Jesus.
g)    We give thanks to the Lord Jesus through God the Father.
(This QT gives me an understanding of what life is like When Christ’s Word Richly Dwells In Me)
 ---
‘Faith In The Word Of The Lord.’
Matthew 8:5-10.
a)    Matthew 8:5. The Centurion pleaded with Jesus to help him.
b)    Matthew 8:6. The Centurion’s servant was suffering so badly at the Centurion’s home. He was:-
1-  Paralysed.
2-  Suffering terribly.
3-  Grievously tormented.
4-  In terrible pain.
c)     Matthew 8:7. Jesus was willing to go to the Centurion’s home and heal him.
d)    Matthew 8:8. The Centurion trusted in the healing Word of Jesus.
e)     Matthew 8:9. The Centurion understood Authority and knew that Jesus only had to speak the Word and his servant would be healed.
f)     Matthew 8:10. Jesus was amazed at the Faith of this Roman centurion.
(Through this Second one I am encouraged to Have Faith In The Word Of The Lord)
 ---
Chris.
The Centurion’s Servant was suffering terribly and Jesus was willing to go and heal him. Such was the Faith of the Centurion that He told Jesus that there was no need for Him to come to the house. He could speak the Word and the Servant would be healed. Here is a manifestation of Faith. Faith is “Word Centred”, it comes as we receive the Word of God. This response really amazed Jesus and He just spoke the Word and the Servant was healed.

To The Poor People!

‘To The Poor People.’
a)    Proverbs 28:8; Deuteronomy 15:10; Psalm 41:1. Should be given kindness and generosity.
b)    Exodus 23:6; Psalm 82:3; 140:12. Should be given Justice.
c)     Job 5:11. God may give prosperity.
d)    Job 29:16. Should be spiritual father’s love given.
e)     Matthew 11:5; Luke 4:18; 7:22. Should the Good News be given.
f)     Matthew 19:21; Luke 18:22; 19:8. Should money be given.
g)    Luke 3:11. A shirt should be given.
h)    Luke 11:41. Should gifts be given.
(The QT teaches me what can be done for and To The Poor People)

‘Mutual Submission.’
Ephesians 5:21.
a)    Is a fruit of being filled with the Holy Spirit.
b)    Is a good attitude to have in marriage.
c)     Should be done out of reverence for Christ.
(This Second shows me the reality of Mutual Submission)

Chris.
Poor people should be given kindness. It grieves me when I see preferential treatment given to wealthy people in the public assembly of the Church. In the public assembly all people should be treated equally. It is right and proper to esteem and value poor people simply for the fact that they are our brothers and sisters and it is only God’s Grace that we are not the poor people.

When Christ Entered The World!

‘When Christ Entered The World.’
Hebrews 10:5-7.
a)       Hebrews 10:5. He already knew that God the Father had given Him a Body ready to offer.
b)       Hebrews 10:6. He knew what God the Father did and did not delight in.
c)       Hebrews 10:7. He came to do the Will of God the Father.
(This QT teaches me what was in His mind When Christ Entered The World)

‘Living Sensibly In The Will Of God.
Ephesians 5:15-17.
a)       Ephesians 5:15. Means:-
1-    Being careful and looking carefully how we walk.
2-    Living.
A-    Purposefully.
B-    Accurately.
C-    Worthily.
3-    Not being unwise and witless.
4-    Be people that are:-
A-    Wise.
B-    Sensible.
C-    Intelligent.
b)       Ephesians 5:16. Making most of the time because the days are evil.
c)       Ephesians 5:17. Do not be:-
1-    Vague.
2-    Thoughtless.
3-    Foolish.
d)       Ephesians 5:17. Understand and firmly grasp what the will of the Lord is.
(Through this Second one I want to be Living Sensibly In The Will Of God)

Chris.
Making most of the time because the days are evil! Yes, we do live in evil days. When I read of so much corruption and darkness even in my own British Government I am ashamed. It seems that corruption and morals no longer matters as long as they can push their greedy monetarist policies through. As True Believers we need to learn in a Holy and simple way how to make the most of the time.

The President Of Our Hearts!

‘The President Of Our Hearts.’
Colossians 3:15.
a)       Should be the Peace of Christ.
b)       Then we enjoy the Unity of His Body.
c)       Then we can be really thankful.
(Through this QT I welcome The President Of My Heart to rule in me)

‘Not Saying But Doing.’
Matthew 7:21.
a)       Not everyone who says to Jesus – ‘Lord, Lord will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
b)       There is an important entry factor.
c)       The person who does the Will of Father God will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
(This Second one teaches me an important principle: Not Saying But Doing)

Chris.
Not saying but doing could be an important principle for all of our lives who read this QT. Sometimes we emphasise on the accuracy of the saying but we neglect the doing. That is really incorrect. Jesus Himself teaches us briefly but very clearly here about the importance of doing.

The People Who Plan To Do Evil!

‘The People Who Plan To Do Evil.’
Proverbs 24:8.
a)       Are called schemers.
b)       Are called mischief makers.
c)       Are called masters of intrigue.
d)       Are called troublemakers.
(Through this QT I pray that The People Who Plan To Do Evil will not be able to do what they want to do in the Churches)

‘Go Through The Narrow Gate.’
Matthew 7:13-14.
a)       We are to enter by the narrow gate.
b)       The gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction.
c)       Many people enter by the wide gate.
d)       The gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life.
e)       Few people find the way that leads to life.
(This Second gives me strength from the Lord to keep on going along His Way: Go Through The Narrow Gate)

Chris.
Schemers are people who plan to do evil in the Churches. They make trouble with the plans that they make and they then divide the Church. We need to realise that the Church belongs to God and not to us. Even if we have put much money into the Church, the Church belongs to God and not to us. If we are not happy in or with a particular Church we should quietly and politely leave and not become a schemer.

Getting On In The Will Of God!

‘Getting On In The Will Of God.’
Romans 12:2.
a)    We should not let ourselves be conformed to the standards of the World system.
b)    We should keep on letting ourselves be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
c)     We need to know what God wants.
d)    We should agree that what God wants is:-
1-  Good.
2-  Satisfying.
3-  Able to succeed.
(Through this QT I want to be Getting On In The Will Of God)

‘The Result Of Knowing Jesus.’
John 6:35-40.
a)    John 6:35. Jesus is the Bread of Life. Whoever comes to Jesus will never go hungry. Whoever trusts in Jesus will never be thirsty.
b)    John 6:36. Some people meet with Jesus but do not trust Him.
c)     John 6:37. Everyone whom the Father has given to Jesus will come to Him.
d)    John 6:37. Whoever comes to Jesus He will certainly not turn away.
e)     John 6:38. Jesus came down from Heaven not to do His Own Will but to do the Will of the One Who sent Him.
f)     John 6:39. This is the Will of the One Who sent Jesus: it is that Jesus should not lose any of those people Whom God the Father has given to Him but He will raise them up on the Last Day.
g)    John 6:40.  Yes, this is the will of the Father: that all who see the Son and trust in Him should have Eternal Life, and that He should raise them up on the Last Day.
(Through this Second one I find The Result Of Knowing Jesus)

Chris.
This is the Will of the One Who sent Jesus. God the Father has a Will a Plan for the whole Universe. When we fully understand this we can realise the privilege that we True Believers have of being in the Will of God. God is so good and kind in that He reveals His Will to and for us.

Peace And Thankfulness!

‘Peace And Thankfulness.’
Colossians 3:14.
a)    We are to let the Peace that comes from Christ rule in our hearts.
b)    As members of one Body (the Church), we are called to live in Peace.
c)     We should be thankful.
(This QT urges me to live in Peace And Thankfulness)

‘Ready To Do God’s Work.’
Ephesians 4:11-16.
a)    Ephesians 4:11. Christ has given these gifts to His Church:-
1-  Apostles.
2-  Prophets.
3-  Evangelists.
4-  Pastors.
5-  Teachers.
b)    Ephesians 4:12. These people have the responsibility of equipping God’s People to do His Work and to build up the Church which is the Body of Christ.
c)     Ephesians 4:13. This equipping and building should continue until we:-
1-  All come to such unity in our Faith.
2-  Come to the Knowledge of God’s Son.
3-  Are mature in the Lord.
4-  Measure up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
d)    Ephesians 4:14. Then we will:-
1-  No longer be immature like children.
2-  Not be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching.
3-  Not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies that are so clever that they sound like the Truth.
e)     Ephesians 4:15. Instead we will speak the Truth in Love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, Who is the Head of His Body the Church.
f)     Ephesians 4:16.  Christ makes the whole Body fit together perfectly.
g)    Ephesians 4:16. As each part does its own special part it helps the other parts grow.
h)    Ephesians 4:16. The whole Body should be:-
1-  Healthy.
2-  Growing.
3-  Full of Love.
(Through this Second one I want to be amongst people Who Are Ready To Do God’s Work)

Chris.
Christ makes the whole Body fit together perfectly. Sometimes we forget that the Church actually belongs to Christ. He is the Head of the Church. When human beings take the leadership of the Church into their own hands then the Church is on the pathway to disaster. God is a Jealous God and He is Jealous for His Church.

" When God Restores His People."

'When God Restores His People.' Psalm 102:13-17. a) 102:13. It is a time when God arises to manifest His Compassion and Grace. ...
