The abundance of God's Steadfast Love is truly amazing. If we consider God in a realistic and Biblical way, we can discover His Steadfast Love. God is always Faithful, and He is Faithful in every way. His Faithfulness amazes me. We should be grateful for the abundance of God's Steadfast Love.

Sometimes, in Churches, Mission Ministries and Praise Bands, complaints arise. The best thing to do with these complaints is to deal with them calmly and quickly. If something is wrong, then it needs to be dealt with. If someone is wrong, they need to be communicated with. Complaints should never be allowed to grow into something more, they should be dealt with well.

When I read the Book of Revelation there are several things that are in my mind. When it is read literally, as a Prophecy, it is difficult to understand. There are so many writers that have written about the prophetic aspect of the book. There is another way of reading the Book of Revelation, and that is learning simple lessons from it. Here is one of those simple lessons. God Knows Everything.  

It's All In The Light!

It's all in the light. There is never anything hidden from God. There are times that, for certain reasons, sometimes not good reasons and sometimes good ones, that we hide things from other people. For some of us it may actually necessary to do this. We should, however, remember that nothing can be hidden from God.

On every high hill the people looked for, or built, places for idols. The hills of a region are always spiritually significant. If the hills belong to God's people or people who follow a morally pure way of life, then the villages, towns and cities in the valleys can be influenced by the life on the hills. If the hills are given to idolatry then life in the valleys can be difficult in many ways. Intercession, of course, can change this.

There are some people who have a mind full of plans and yet those plans, for some reason, are never carried out! There are also some people who have a mind full of plans but they are the wrong plans, they are incorrect. There are some inventive and creative people who seem to have minds that are restless and frustrated because the reality of their thoughts cannot be achieved. What kind of mind do we have?

Forgiven and Free. This is a wonderful statement and also a true statement. Every True Believer should be able to confess these Words as a true statement over their lives. If we cannot say that we are forgiven and free it means that we have not yet experienced the Free Gift of Salvation that God offers to us through Jesus Christ. May all who read this know that they are forgiven and free. 

We Should Not Turn Away From The Lord!

We will gain nothing by travelling the way to Assyria! There are some Believers who just do their own thing and go their own way. They do not consult the Lord, they do not wait for the Lord, they just go their own way and then "spiritualise" it. This is dangerous for them, and, if they are Servants of The Lord, they will probably jeopardise His Testimony and His Ministry.

d)  Yet, he will soon come up out of the bottomless pit.

The bottomless pit is the dwelling place of demons. These demons do not belong in houses, buildings of religious worship, in desperate and needy people, or various types of animal. The demons may visit these places sometimes but they do not belong there. They belong in, and must go to, the bottomless pit.

Apostle Paul's Prayers that are recorded in the Scriptures are very consistent. It does us good to read these Prayers. We can have assurance that the Lord will hear our Prayers as we follow Apostle Paul's Prayers and lifestyle. Prayer is precious! Prayer is Holy! Prayer is communion with God. We should take care how we Pray.

The Egyptians had come from Memphis and Tahpanhes and destroyed Israel's Glory and Power. This was a painful and shameful situation for God's People. It was not just a 'fact' that 'just happened'! It happened because of a reason, and the reason was that God's People forsook Him. The same will surely happen today when God's People forsake Him. This is one of the reasons why we are exhorted to closely follow the Lord.

The people were astonished at the appearance of Jesus on the Cross. If we read Isaiah 52 and 53 we can understand why. It was an awful sight, the extremes of torture that they carried out on Him were so malicious. We tend to have a mistaken thought that the Cross of Jesus Christ was somehow a beautiful thing. If we hold that thought then we are greatly mistaken.

The Church should have ministering Elders. To leave all the Church's congregational matters as the responsibility of one person and then blame that person if they have omitted certain matters is just not fair. The Leadership of the Church needs to have an active and responsible caring heart, then the Body ministers to the Body. That is a healthy and growing way for the Church.

Even if we have no answer, it is very acceptable to ask the question when necessary: "Why did this happen?" There may actually be no answer to this question. It can be a question which simply is expressing our pain or our frustration in some way. We can remember that God is called "The God of all Comfort". He is not the "God of all Answers."

The evil woman had in her hand a golden cup. Her sins had made her extravagantly wealthy. The contents of the cup were evil. This woman had an awful name: "the mother of everything sinful of the Earth". When I read of this, it causes me to pray for the Nations. Any Nations, all Nations! May the Lord intervene in the Nations and may Salvation come to them.

Greetings! It is always nice and also correct to give and receive Greetings in a proper way. Whoever the person may be, if they are greeted well by the family or by the Church it can really be a Comfort and Blessing to them. Greeters in the Church should be taught how to greet everyone well and not just be talking to their "special" friends.

They have forsaken Him Who is the Spring of Living Waters. Even though I am no longer a young person, I am classed as being 'old', I believe that I have an 'up-to-date' Biblical World view. It is no exaggeration to says that many True Believers in the age group between 20 - 40 years old are forsaking the Lord. For one, or some of many reasons they have turned away from Him. It is a part of the Mission of the Church to reach out to these people and help them come back to Christ.

b)  John saw a woman sitting on a red wild animal.

Deserts in the Bible were often places of Revelation, places where people met with God. It is the same principle today, it is in the lonely place where we can meet more easily with God. When God leads us into a desert place, we need to go there with our spiritual eyes and ears wide open, and simply complain "why God?"

g)  Jonah 1:6. The Captain of the ship was known as the Master of the ship.

j)  2 Timothy 2:21. It is good for pure people to serve their master. 
k)  Mark 13:35. It is not known when the master of the house will return.

Ashpenaz was the Master of the King's Servants. In every successful Nation there will be a healthy leadership structure. Without a good leadership structure any Nation will be unstable and subject to indecisive government. The New Testament exhorts us to pray for our Government - wherever we may live. 

Incredulous God!

a)  Go over to the Island of Cyprus and see.
b)  Send men to Kedar to watch with care.
c)  See if there has ever been such a thing as this.
d)  Has a Nation ever changed its gods?
e)  Even when they are not gods at all!
f)  God's People have exchanged their greatness.
g)  God's People have changed their Glory.
h)  God's People have changed their Glory and greatness into something that does not help them.

God's people exchanged their greatness. That was a serious thing that God told His People. It was a serious decision that they made. It was serious action that they took. They decided to turn away from the Living and True God and then they began to serve "gods" that were not God at all. We should never decide like that. No matter how difficult our circumstances may be, God has promised never to leave or forsake us.

a)  One of the Seven Angels with Seven Bowls came to speak with John. 
b)  The Angel called John to follow him. 
c)  The Angel showed John this powerful woman. 
d)  She sold the use of her body and was going to be punished. 
e)  She sat on many waters of the World. 
f)  The kings of the Earth joined with her in:-
1-Sex sins.
2-Idolatry. 
3-Prostitution.
g)  The people of the World system had been made drunk.
h)  By the wine of her sex sins.

Sex sins are both degrading and destructive as far as the Life of the Believer is concerned. They cause so much pain and shame. There are several Scriptures which Teach us about the horrors of sexual sin and the devastating result it can have on people's lives. The Bible is clear in both the Old and New Testaments, that sexual sin is to be avoided.

a)  It is bad for religious ministers to pretend to be someone that they are not.
b)  Another word for this is "pride".
c)  They had an outward appearance of being religious.
d)  But things that were important they neglected.
e)  Things such as:-
1-Thinking what is correct.
2-Thinking what is incorrect.
3-Having Pity.
4-Having Faith.
5-Justice.
6-Mercy.

Acts 23:3.
a)  Paul was accusing Ananias the High Priest.
b)  Paul told him that God would strike him.
c)  Ananias was just a whitewashed wall.
d)  Ananias was sitting to judge Paul according to the Jewish Law.
e)  Yet, contrary to the Law, he ordered Paul to be struck.

It is often even until these days that we neglect the things that are important in God's Eyes. We treat ministry in a secular way and look for secular results and just try to get money so that those results can be accomplished. This is really 100% not God's Way at all. A simple understand of the Scriptures will teach us how God desire us to serve Him and in what way.

a)  The Lord says that He Will still fight with us.

d)  All this is done because of His Love for us.
e)  Love prompts our obedience and Love prompts also the search which may be necessary to ascertain God's Will.

1-Teachers of the Law.
2-Religious Law Keepers.

d)  They give a tenth part of their:-
1-Mint.
2-Anise.
3-Cummin.
e)  But they have not done the more important parts of God's Law. 
f)  They leave undone the weightier matters of the Law:-
1-Thinking what is correct. 
2-Rejecting wrong thoughts.
3-Having pity.
4-Having Faith. 
g)  These things, Jesus said, ought to have been done.
h)  And the other things also.
i)  They should have omitted nothing of God's Law.

God's Love is expressed in many ways. There is no particular way in which we can "make" God manifest His Love to us. God has given us several things that are necessary for us to be able to receive His Love:- 1-Firstly, He has given us Faith based in His Word that tells us that He Loves us deeply and really. 2-Secondly, He has given us a heart to retain His Love one He has poured His Love into it. 3-Thirdly, He has given us the Holy Spirit to pour His Love into our hearts.

a)  Every island went down into the sea.
b)  No mountain could be found.
c)  Large pieces of hail fell from Heaven upon men.
d)  Each piece of hail weighed the same as a small child.
e)  Men blasphemed God.
f)  Because they suffered so much trouble from the hail.

When Babylon is going to be finally destroyed then people will blaspheme God. This is going to be a very awful scene that is a result of God's Judgment on sin and sinfulness. Babylon represents the World System here, it will be a big mass and mees of destruction. This coming episode surely gives us some urgency to spread the Gospel by some means or another.
