Apply This To Our Hearts And Mouths!

‘Apply This To Our Hearts And Mouths.’
James 3:11-12.
a)     Do clean and polluted water flow out of the same spring?
b)    Can a fig tree produce olives?
c)     Can a grapevine produce figs.
d)    A well of salt water cannot produce fresh water.
(This QT exhorts me: Apply This To My Heart And Mouth)
-------------------------
‘The Precious Blood Of Christ.’
1 Peter 1:18-19.
a)     Gold and silver cannot buy spiritual Freedom for us. It will never redeem us.
b)    It does not set us free from the worthless life handed down to us by non-believing ancestors.
c)     The payment that freed us is the Precious Blood of Christ.
d)    Christ was given for us as a sacrificial Lamb without:-
1-  Sin.
2-  Spot.
3-  Defects.
4-  Imperfections.
(Through this Second one I thank God for The Precious Blood Of Christ)
-------------------------
Chris.

There is nothing more valuable to us than the Precious Blood of Christ. This is simply because it is through the Power of that Blood that our sins are atoned for and taken away. There are many religious terms regarding the Blood of Christ in the different Christian denominations but this point is clear to all: the Power of the Blood of Jesus takes our sins away.

When God's Discipline Was Upon His People!

‘When God’s Discipline Was Upon His People.’
Isaiah 26:16.
a)     The people came to the Lord in their trouble.
b)    They were humbled by oppression.
c)     They poured out a Prayer.
d)    They were humbled when God’s Discipline was on them.
(Through this QT I can see what happened When God’s Discipline Was Upon His People)
------------------------
‘Convinced And Persuaded.’
Romans 8:38-39.
a)     Apostle Paul was convinced and persuaded that nothing could ever separate us from God’s Love.
b)    This Love is in Jesus Christ our Lord.
c)     These cannot separate us from God’s Love:-
1-  Death.
2-  Life.
3-  Angels.
4-  Rulers.
5-  Anything in the present.
6-  Anything in the future.
7-  Principalities and Powers.
(Through this Second one I am Convinced And Persuaded that nothing can separate me from God’s Love in Jesus Christ my Lord)
------------------------
Chris.
Rulers always have power and authority. We can easily see this in the natural realm. Nations are greatly affected by their Rulers. We can easily see it in the spiritual realm too. Apostle Paul speaks several times in his Epistles about the spiritual rulers which are trying to control Nations and hinder the work of God. Thank God for Victory over them in Jesus Christ.

Jesus Our Shepherd Leader!

‘Jesus Our Shepherd Leader.’
John 10:4.
a)      After Jesus has brought out all His sheep.
b)     He walks ahead of them.
c)      The sheep follow Him.
d)     Because they recognise His Voice.
(Through this QT I thank God for Jesus My Shepherd Leader)
-----------------------
‘Ultimate Love.’
John 3:16.
a)      God so Loved the World.
b)     That He gave His only Son.
c)      So that everyone who Believes in Him.
d)     Shall not perish but will have Everlasting Life.
(This Second one reveals to me Ultimate Love)
-----------------------
Chris.

Jesus brings out His sheep. He is the Good Shepherd. Sheep left to themselves are prone to wander. This is why one of the manifestations of Jesus to us is the Good Shepherd. If we follow the Good Shepherd we will have assurance that we are in the Will of God. So, keep following!

The Problem With Tongues!

‘The Problem With Tongues.’
James 3:6-10.
a)      James 3:6. The tongue:-
1-  Is a fire.
2-  Is a world of evil among the parts of our bodies.
3-  Completely contaminates our bodies.
4-  Sets the whole course of our life on fire.
5-  Is itself set on fire from hell.
b)     James 3:7. People can tame many kinds of:-
1-  Animals.
2-  Reptiles.
3-  Birds.
4-  Sea creatures.
c)      James 3:8. No one can tame the tongue. It is an uncontrollable evil filled with deadly poison.
d)     James 3:9. With our tongues we Praise God the Father and yet with the same tongue we curse people made in God’s Likeness.
e)      James 3:10. Brothers and sisters, Praise and curses should not come from the same mouth.
(This QT Teaches me The Problem With Tongues)
---------------------
‘Our Unity Is A Message.’
John 17:21.
a)      This is a part of one of the Prayers of Jesus Christ.
b)     He Prayed to the Father that we would have Unity in the same way that the Godhead has Unity.
c)      Jesus Christ prayed that we may be United with God.
d)     Then the World will believe that God the Father has sent Jesus Christ for them.
(This Second one teaches me that Our Unity Is A Message)
---------------------
Chris.

Jesus Christ Prayed certain very meaningful Prayers for His Followers. This is an amazing Prayer that can only be made possible by the Grace and Love of God in our lives. He Prayed that we would have Unity amongst ourselves as True Believers just as the Godhead has Unity.

When God Makes The Nation Grow!

‘When God Makes The Nation Grow.’
Isaiah 26:15.
a)      When the Nation grows and expands it is the Lord’s Work.
b)     He makes it larger in every way.
c)      The Lord is Honoured and gains Glory for Himself doing this.
d)     He increases the size of the land by increasing its boundaries.
(This QT reveals to me what happens When God Makes The Nation Grow)
--------------------
‘David In His Innocence Was Frustrated.’
1 Samuel 17:29.
a)      David came with a pure heart from the sheepfold to see Goliath and what was going to happen. He was innocent.
b)     David became frustrated because of his brother Eliab’s accusations.
c)      David wanted to know what he had done wrong. He was hurt and accused Eliab of not letting him even speak and ask a question.
(This Second one reminds me of what frequently happens to people today: David In His Innocence Was Frustrated)
--------------------
Chris.
When the Lord works in a Nation in a special way He will always be Honoured and gain Glory for Himself. Wherever we live we can be praying for our Nation. God Created the Nations and He wants them to come to Him and be Saved. God Loves the Nations He Created.

The Sacrifice Of A Good Shepherd!

‘The Sacrifice Of A Good Shepherd.’
John 10:11.
a)     Jesus Christ sets the example for every True Shepherd of God’s Flock.
b)    Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd.
c)     The Good Shepherd gives and lays down His Life.
d)    For the sheep.
(This QT teaches me The Sacrifice Of A Good Shepherd)
--------------------------
‘We Can Be Victorious In Life.’
Romans 5:17.
a)     Death ruled because of one person’s transgression and failure.
b)    It is very certain.
c)     That those people who receive an abundance of Grace and the gift of Righteousness.
d)    Will reign in life.
e)     Because of one Person – Jesus Christ.
(This Second one comforts and challenges me: I Can Be Victorious In Life)
--------------------------
Chris.
A good Shepherd/Pastor is a person of sacrifice. This person will sacrifice time and energy to care for the flock. They should not sacrifice their family relationships – that is completely wrong. Their habit should be given to reading, praying and preparing their ministry. Occasional relaxation is of course very necessary, especially if it is a family time.

A Little Flame!

‘A Little Flame.’
James 3:3-5.
a)     James 3:3. We put bits into the mouths of horses and then we have control over everything that they do.
b)    James 3:4. Ships are very huge. They are driven by the winds. Yet the pilot directs them by steering a small rudder.
c)     James 3:5. The tongue is a small part of the body and yet it can brag about doing great and important things.
d)    James 3:5. A large forest can be set on fire by a little flame.
(This QT reminds me to control A Little Flame in my mouth)
------------------------
‘Blessed And Trustworthy Witnesses.’
Acts 3:15.
a)     The Jews killed the One Who gives Life.
b)    God raised Him from the dead. (Brought Him back to Life)
c)     Peter and John were witnesses to this.
(Through this Second one I thank God for Blessed And Trustworthy Witnesses)
------------------------
Chris.

The pilot can direct a huge ship by steering a small rudder. This is a tremendous skill that we see often as we watch, or ride, the big ships. Near our home is the harbour mouth. A narrow channel leads from the port to the ocean. The pilot needs much skill to direct the ships every time. Our tongue is like that rudder that we need to control well.

The End Of The Wicked People!

‘The End Of The Wicked People.’
Isaiah 26:14.
a)     The wicked people are dead.
b)    They are no longer alive.
c)     The spirits of the wicked dead will not arise.
d)    God punished them and destroyed.
e)     God wiped out all remembrance of them.
(This QT makes plain to me what The End Of The Wicked People is like)
-----------------------
‘Be Rich In Our Relationship With God.’
Luke 12:15-23.
a)     Luke 12:15. Jesus told the people to guard themselves against every kind of greed. Life is not about having a lot of material possessions.
b)    Luke 12:16. Jesus told the people a story which everyone could understand. It was about a farmer and his crops. His land produced very good crops.
c)     Luke 12:17-18. The harvest was so large that the farmer decided to build larger new barns in which to store his crops.
d)    Luke 12:19. Then the farmer’s attitude turned the wrong way. He said to himself that he had stored up a lot of good things for years to come. He was going to take life easy. He wanted to:-
1-  Relax.
2-  Eat.
3-  Drink.
4-  Enjoy himself.
e)     Luke 12:20. Jesus told him that the very same night God would demand his life from him.
f)      Luke 12:21. This man was rich but not rich in his relationship with God.
g)     Luke 12:22-23. Jesus told the Disciples to stop worrying about food and clothes.
(This Second one encourages me to Be Rich In My Relationship With God)
-----------------------
Chris.

Jesus knew what was going to happen that night. The rich man was going to die! This is very amazing that Jesus really does know all things. He is omniscient. One of the reasons why I trust Jesus is because of His Omniscience.

For Leaders Who Are Good Examples And Shepherds!

‘For Leaders Who Are Good Examples And Shepherds.’
1 Peter 5:4.
a)      When the Chief Shepherd appears.
b)     You will receive a Crown of Glory.
c)      That will never fade away.
(This QT teaches me what is For Leaders Who Are Good Examples And Shepherds)
---------------------
‘No Leadership Means Chaos.’
Judges 21:25.
a)      There was a time in the past.
b)     When Israel did not have a king.
c)      Every person did what they considered to be correct in their own eyes.
(This Second one proves that No Leadership Means Chaos)
---------------------
Chris.

Every True Believer has this confidence… the Chief Shepherd is going to appear again. This is our Eternal Hope. We are Strengthened in many different ways by the Lord and this is one of them. We should not let go of this lovely confidence that is given to us.

' Christ Died for Our Sins Once For All.'

'Christ Died For Our Sins Once For All.' a) 1 Peter 3:18. For unrighteous people to make them righteous. b) 1 Peter 2:24. That...
