Proverbs 28:13.

a)    If we conceal our transgressions we will not prosper.

b)    If we confess our transgressions we will obtain Mercy.

c)    If we forsake our transgressions we will obtain Mercy.

(This QT shows me how I should be Handling My Transgressions)

‘Our Work Ethic.’

Colossians 3:23-24.

a)    Whatever we do, we should work heartily.

b)    Colossians 3:17. Whatever we do we should do everything in the Name of the Lord Jesus.

c)    We work as for the Lord and not for other people.

d)    We will receive an inheritance from the Lord if we work this way. (Ephesians 6:8)

e)    We are serving the Lord Christ.

f)     1 Corinthians 7:22. To be a bondservant is a calling.

g)    Philemon 1:16. Faithful bondservants can become beloved Brothers and Sisters.

(This Second one makes me think about My Work Ethic)

If we conceal our transgressions we will not prosper. It never resolves a sin issue by hiding the sin. Guilt and maybe shame take a deeper root inside our heart and conscience when we attempt to conceal rather than deal.

A Leader's Good Believing Wife!

‘A Leader’s Good Believing Wife.’

a)    Proverbs 31:13. Is willing to do her work.

b)    Proverbs 31:14. Shops well.

c)    Proverbs 31:15, 21 & 27. Cares for her household.

d)    Proverbs 31:16. Considers her garden.

e)    Proverbs 31:17. Keeps herself healthy.

f)      Proverbs 31:18-19. Is not lazy.

g)    Proverbs 31:20. Is generous.

h)    Proverbs 31:22. Looks after her bed well.

i)      Proverbs 31:23. Respects the authority of her husband.

j)      Proverbs 31:24. Uses her time well, not getting deeply involved with outside home things.

k)    Proverbs 31:25. She is:-

1-    Strong.

2-    Dignified.

3-    Fearless.

l)      Proverbs 31:26. Is wise and kind.

m)   Proverbs 31:28-29. Is loved by her children and husband.

n)    Proverbs 31:30. She fears the Lord.

o)    Proverbs 31:31. She is acknowledged by other leaders as a good wife of her husband.

(This QT teaches me that A Leader’s Good Believing Wife is meant to function very well in the home and not necessarily be too busy outside)

‘When God Finished His Work He Rested.’

Genesis 2:2.

a)    On the seventh day God finished His Work that He had done. (It does not say that He finished all His Work, it says that He finished His Work that He did then)

b)    God rested on the seventh day.

c)    He was away from all the Work that He had done.

(Through this Second one I see that When God Finished His Work He Rested)

The Leader’s good Believing wife uses her time well and does not get deeply involved with outside home things. This does not mean that she has to be a “prisoner” to her home but it means that home should be her priority. Especially in the case of Church and ministry leadership the wife sometimes thinks that she must be involved, in some way “looking after her husband”, this is a disastrous error. The husband should be able to do things he needs to do as a Leader and his wife needs to ably support him in the family home.

Praying Especially For Our Ministers!

‘Praying Especially For Our Ministers.’

Colossians 4:2-4.

a)    Colossians 4:2. Our Prayer should be:-

1-    Steadfast.

2-    Watchful.

3-    With thanksgiving.

b)    Colossians 4:3. Pray for God to open doors for the Ministry of our Ministers and Missionaries.

c)    Colossians 4:3. Pray that our Ministers will declare the Mystery of Christ.

d)    Colossians 4:3. Pray especially for Ministers that are facing suffering environments.

e)    Colossians 4:4. Pray that they would speak in such a way that their Message is clear.

(Through this QT I know that I should be Praying Especially For My Ministers)

‘We Should Be Humble.’

a)    1 Peter 5:6. Humble ourselves under the Mighty Hand of God and at the correct time He will lift us up.

b)    Romans 12:3. We should not have exaggerated ideas about our own importance.

c)   James 4:6. God opposes arrogant people but to the humble people he gives Grace.

(Through this Second one I realise that I Should Be Humble)

Ministers and Missionaries are a part of the Church that are often at the forefront of public attention. They are watched by many people. The bigger and more influential their ministry is, the more they are being watched. This is one of the reasons that we need to pray for them.

Who To Pray For In An Election?

‘Who To Pray For In An Election.’

Proverbs 28:12.

a)    Proverbs 11:10. When the Righteous people triumph.

b)    There is great Glory.

c)    Proverbs 28:28; 29:2; Ecclesiastes 10:5-6. When the wicked people rise.

d)    Other people hide themselves.

(This QT teaches me Who To Pray For In An Election)

‘Not Pleasing To God.’

Romans 8:7-8.

a)    The thinking mind that is set on the flesh.

b)    Is hostile to God.

c)    It does not submit to God’s Law.

d)    It cannot submit to God’s Law.

e)    Those people who are in the flesh cannot please God.

(Through this Second one I by Faith reject the thinking mind that is Not Pleasing To God)

Who to pray for, or even vote for, in an election? It is a big question and I can understand some True Believers I know who do not vote at all. This is a very personal area of our lives and I do not wish to invade people’s privacy. I would however point out that it is folly to vote for wicked people, even if our political or Church government thoughts are similar to theirs. 

Christ Is Risen Hallelujah!

1 Corinthians 15:17.

a)     If Christ had not been raised.

b)     Then our Faith is useless.

c)     We are still guilty of our sins.

(Through this QT I proclaim that Christ Is Risen Hallelujah)

‘Understanding Christ’s Death And Resurrection.’

John 10:17-18.

a)     The Father loves Jesus Christ His Son.

b)     Jesus Christ sacrificed His Life and took it back again.

c)     No one could take the Life of Jesus Christ from Him.

d)     He sacrificed it voluntarily.

e)     He had the Authority to lay it down when He wanted to.

f)      He had the Authority to take it up again.

g)     This was all under God the Father’s direction.

(This Second one helps me in Understanding Christ’s Death And Resurrection)

We need to be understanding Christ’s death and resurrection. Our Faith is incomplete if it ends at the Cross of Christ. There are four clear parts of the Gospel which we need to Believe. Firstly, the Cross. Secondly, the Resurrection. Thirdly, the Ascension. Fourthly, the present Intercession of Christ. 

A Word For Believing Employers!

Colossians 4:1.

a)     Treat your workers justly.

b)     Treat your workers fairty.

c)     Know this.

d)     You also have a Master in Heaven.

(In this QT is A Word For Believing Employers)

‘Jubilee Every Day In Christ.’

a)     Leviticus 25:8-9. In the Old Testament Jubilee was one time every forty nine years.

b)     Numbers 10:10. It was a time of:-

1-    Gladness.

2-    Covenant keeping.

3-    Closeness to God.

c)     Psalm 89:15. It should make us happy and want to live in the Light.

d)     Acts 13:38. In the New Testament the Message is forgiveness of our sins.

e)     Acts 13:39. The Message is our being made right with God.

f)      Romans 10:18. This is the Message for the whole World.

g)    Romans 15:19. The Good News of Christ accompanied by:-

1-    The Power of miraculous signs.

2-    Wonders.

3-    The Power of God’s Spirit.

h)     2 Corinthians 5:19. Reconciled to God.

i)      2 Corinthians 5:20. God’s appeal to humanity – come back to Him.

j)      2 Corinthians 5:21. Because of the offering of Christ on the Cross we can be made right with God.

k)     1 Thessalonians 1:8. Our lives become a Testimony for the Lord to other people.

(Through this Second one I can celebrate Jubilee Every Day In Christ)

Here is a wonderful and real promise and possibility for the True Believer. We can celebrate Jubilee every day in Christ. There are two very important factors here. Firstly, how do we present the Gospel? Do we give the same positive Message that the Bible brings as we read in the New Testament? Secondly, do we Disciple new Believers in a Biblical way, making them True Disciples of Christ? Or, are we merely programming them into a Church system?

Money Is Not Everything!

‘Money Is Not Everything.’

Proverbs 28:11.

a)     The rich people.

b)     Always think that they are wise.

c)     A poor person who is wise.

d)     Can see the Truth.

(This QT teaches me that Money Is Not Everything, especially in God’s Kingdom)

‘We Can Now Live A New Life.’

Romans 6:4.

a)     When we were Baptised.

b)     We were buried with Christ.

c)     We took part in Christ’s Death.

d)     Just as Christ was raised from the Dead.

e)     By the wonderful Power of the Father.

f)      So we can now live a New Life.

(Through this Second one I Praise the Lord that I Can Now Live A New Life)

We need to be taught that money is not everything, especially in God’s Kingdom. In some Churches money buys a position of authority or influence. This is really not God’s way and in a Church that falls for that temptation there will eventually be many problems. It is the Fear of the Lord that is the beginning of Wisdom and not money.

Fear The Lord And Be Healed!

‘Fear The Lord And Be Healed.’

Malachi 4:2.

a)     This Message was and is for people who Fear the Lord’s Name.

b)    The Sun of Righteousness will dawn upon those people.

c)     Healing radiates from the wings (rays) of the Sun of Righteousness.

d)    There will be new energy, frisky and frolicking.

e)     There will be Freedom.

f)      There will be leaping with Joy.

(Through this QT I know that I can Fear The Lord And Be Healed. The healing may not be physical it may be spiritual and emotional. The key point is that I am to Fear the Lord)

‘Be At Peace With God.’

2 Corinthians 5:18-20.

a)     2 Corinthians 5:18. Our being a New Creation in Christ comes from God.

b)    2 Corinthians 5:18. Through Christ, God made Peace between Himself and us.

c)     2 Corinthians 5:18. God gave us the work of bringing people into Peace with Him.

d)    2 Corinthians 5:19. God was in Christ, making Peace between the people of the World and Himself.

e)     2 Corinthians 5:19. God gave the offer of a fresh start to the people of the World by offering to them Forgiveness of sins.

f)      2 Corinthians 5:19. God has given this Message of Peace to tell people.

g)    2 Corinthians 5:20. We have been sent to speak for Christ.

h)    2 Corinthians 5:20. God is calling people. God speaks to people when we beg them to be at Peace with God.

(Through this Second one I want to encourage all people who read this to Be At Peace With God)

When the Sun of Righteousness is risen there will be Freedom. There is a great cry for “freedom” going up all over the World in these days. This is actually nothing new. This cry has been manifest for centuries. The difference is that perhaps there are more opportunities than ever before for Practical Christianity to be presented by True Believers throughout much of the World. We need to make the most of these opportunities in relevant ways.
