‘Home and Promised Her.’
a) Genesis 16:13-14. Hagar encountered the LORD, who saw her
situation and came to her. ‘Beer-Lahai-Roi: “The Well of the Living One Who
Sees Me.”
b) Genesis 18:1. The angel of the LORD appeared to Abraham,
when he was sitting by the entrance of His Home near the sacred Mamre Tree on a
hot summer afternoon. The Lord could appear to us in our home anytime.
c) Genesis 22:1-19. A few years later, the LORD appeared to
Abraham to test his faith and obedience; Abraham had been told to go to a place
of worship and sacrifice his son, Issac. But Abraham believed that the Lord
would provide the Lamb for offering worship. Abraham’s faith was tested in his
home, and he passed it by faith in the Lord’s promise.
d) Genesis 32:6 & 30. To Jacob, on his fearful journey
to meet his brother, Esau, the Angel of the LORD appeared. Jacob has seen God face-to-face
at Peniel and received the Lord’s promise of Blessing.
e) Hosea 12:4. At Bethel, Jacob wrestled with the angel of
the LORD and won, then, with tears in his eyes, he asked for a blessing, and
God encountered the people of Israel there again.
f) Exodus 3:2. &14. At Mount Horeb, the angel of the LORD
appeared to Moses from a burning bush and commissioned him to bring the LORD’s
Name to His People. Moses was taking care of the sheep and goats of his father-in-law,
Jethro, across the desert of Sinai. God can appear in our workplace while we
are working.
g) Exodus 13:21. The LORD appeared in a thick cloud during the
day and in a flaming fire during the night, and He went before the people of
Israel.
h)1 Corinthians 10:13. The LORD is Faithful in all His Ways;
He will show the way out when we are tempted.
i) Deuteronomy 11:8-32. The LORD promised to us as we enter
the Land of Promise by faith to carefully obey what the LORD said to us, because
the LORD will care for the promised land for His people. Not by our works, but
by carefully obeying and having the fear of the LORD in our lives.
j) Judges 6:11-12. The Angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon,
who was hiding in a threshing floor from the Midianites and promised him His
Help and encouraged him as a warrior.
k) Judges 13:22. The Angel of the LORD appeared to Manoah
and his wife as the answer to his prayer for his unborn son. After offering the
sacrifice, they realised that they encountered the LORD and His clear
instructions.
l) John 3:17. The LORD God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into
the world not to condemn the world, but to save them. The Purpose of Jesus has
been sent to us is not to condemn but to save us.
m) Isaiah 6:1-10. In a hard circumstance, the Lord can
appear to us as Isaiah saw the vision from the LORD, encountered the Lord’s
Holiness, and received the Lord’s Calling.
n) John 12:41. Isaiah’s vision of the Glory of Jesus was fulfilled.
o) Daniel 3:25. The LORD appeared to Daniel and His friends
in the Lion’s den, and none of them was harmed.

people to help, guide, call, protect, and instruct them and thank God for His son, Jesus,
to save us completely from destruction.)
