God Will Shake Earth And Sky!

'God Will Shake Earth And Sky.'

Hebrews 12:26.

a)  At that time God's Voice shook the Earth.

b)  But now He has promised:

"Once more I will shake not only the Earth

c)  "But also the heavens."

(This QT reminds me that God Will Shake Earth And Sky)

PRAY: For Grace and Strength to stand the shaking.

-------------------------

'This Applies To Most Of Us.'

Hebrews 12:4.

a)  In your struggle against sin,

b)  You have not yet resisted

c)  To the point of shedding your blood.

(This Second one Applies To Most Of Us)

PRAY: To resist in the struggle against sin.

--------------------------

Chris.

Many of us who read this QT have never had to resist sin and sinners to the point of shedding our blood. We can really thank God for this, but we should remember, especially remember in prayer, that there are those Believers who are, even today, resisting sin to the point of shedding their blood or even losing their lives!

Those People Who Do Evil!

 'Those People Who Do Evil.'

Psalm 34:16.

a)  The Face of the Lord

b)  Is against those who do evil,

c)  To blot out their name from the Earth.

(This QT teaches me about the fate of Those People Who Do Evil)

PRAY: To Fear the Lord and to follow Him.

------------------------

'The Eyes, Ears And Face Of The Lord.'

1 Peter 3:12.

a)  For the Eyes of the Lord

b)  Are on the righteous,

c)  And His ears

d)  Are inclined to their Prayer.

e)  But the Face of the Lord

f)  Is against those who do evil.

(Through this Second one I understand more about The Eyes, Ears And Face Of The Lord)

PRAY: To live a righteous life in front of God.

------------------------

Chris.

A Righteous Life is something that the Lord treasures and is pleased with. The Righteous person can come humbly and confidently to God in their Prayer, having assurance that God listens to them! It is not for the Believer to try to change the lives of those who do evil, only pray for them. The Lord can change them!

Radical Destruction!

 'Radical Destruction.'

Judges 1:8.

a)  And the men of Judah

b)  Fought against Jerusalem

c)  And captured it

d)  And struck it with the edge of the sword

e)  And set the city on fire.

(This QT gives me an example of Radical Destruction)

PRAY: For the Peace of Jerusalem today.

------------------------

'A Bible Verse That Causes Us To Think!'

James 2:24.

a)  You see

b)  That a person is justified by works

c)  And not by Faith alone.

(Through this Second one I find A Bible Verse That Causes Me To Think)

PRAY: For confidence in, and understanding of, God's Word.

------------------------

Chris.

We sometimes discover in the Old Testament that the actions of God's People were really radical! At certain times they were obeying God and at other times just using their own power and initiative. Now we are living in the "days of Grace" of the New Testament, life is very different. One of the key factors of the Christian Life today is that we can be led by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, and enjoy meaningful fellowship.

Listen When God Speaks!

'Listen When God Speaks.'

Hebrews 12 25.

a)  Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the One Who is speaking.

b)  For if the people of Israel did not escape

c)  When they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger,

d)  We will certainly not escape

e)  If we reject the One Who speaks to us from Heaven.

(This QT exhorts me to Listen When God Speaks)

PRAY: To be sensitive to God when He speaks.

----------------------

'Heaven.'

a)  Matthew 3:17. Father God speaks from Heaven.

b)  Matthew 5:10. Persecuted Believers belong in the Kingdom of Heaven.

c)  Matthew 5:12. Is a place of Eternal Reward.

d)  Matthew 5:19. Obey and Teach God's Word - you will be Blessed in Heaven.

e)  Matthew 5:45. Father in Heaven has true children.

f)  Matthew 6:10. Pray for God's Will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

g)  Matthew 18:4. Is a place of humility.

h)  Matthew 19:14. The Kingdom of Heaven belongs to child-like people.

i)  Mark 13:31. Heaven and Earth will disappear but Christ'a Words shall never disappear.

j)  Mark 16:19. When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, He was taken up into Heaven and sat down in the place of Honour at God's Right Hand.

k)  Luke 3:22; John 12:28. God's Voice spoke from Heaven.

l)  Luke 15:7. Is a place of Joy.

m)  John 3:13. No one has ever gone to Heaven and returned.

n)  Acts 7:49. Heaven is the Lord's Throne.

o)  Acts 17:24. ...He is Lord of Heaven and Earth.

p)  Philippians 3:20. ...We are citizens of Heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives.

q)  Hebrews 4:14. ...We have a Great High Priest Who has entered Heaven, Jesus the Son of God,...

(This Second one reminds me of the reality of Heaven)

PRAY: For assurance of Salvation now and Heaven in the future.

----------------------

Chris.

It is necessary for every Christian to read carefully the entire Bible. Especially important are the Words of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through these Words of the Lord Jesus we can read much about how are daily living should be, whatever our circumstances may be.

The Eyes And Ears Of The Lord!

'

The Eyes And Ears Of The Lord.'

Psalm 34:15.

a)  The eyes of the Lord

b)  Are toward the righteous,

c)  And His ears

d)  Toward their cry.

(This QT gives me confidence in The Eyes And Ears Of The Lord)

PRAY: For confident trust in the Lord.

--------------------

'Amazing Rescue.'

2 Timothy 3:11.

a)  My persecutions and sufferings that happened to me at:

1-Antioch.

2-Iconium.

3-Lystra.

b)  Which persecutions I endured;

c)  Yet from them all

d)  The Lord rescued me.

(Through this Second one I find Amazing Resecue)

PRAY: For persecuted and suffering Servants of the Lord to be rescued.

--------------------

Chris.

It is most beneficial if the Lord's People can have a confident trust in Him. People who waver in their trust of God never really grow in maturity in Him. Trust is equally as important in our relationship with God as Faith is. We live, the Bible says, not by sight but by Faith.

Adonai Bezek!

'Adonai Bezek.'

Judges 1:6-7.

a)  Adonai Bezek fled,

b)  But they pursued him and caught him

c)  And cut off his thumbs and big toes.

d)  And Adonai Bezek said:

e)  "Seventy kings with their thumbs and their big toes cut off used to pick up scraps under my table.

f)  "As I have done, so God has repaid me."

g)  And they brought him to Jerusalem,

h)  And he died there.

(This QT reminds me that revenge belongs to God: Adonai Bezek)

PRAY: To live a life carefully glorifying God.

-------------------

'Drive Them Out.'

a)  Leviticus 20:23. God drove out the Nations because of their sin.

b)  Joshua 13:13. Yet the people of Israel did not drive out the Geshurites or the Maacathities,

but Geshur and Maacath dwell in the midst of Israel to this day.

c)  Joshua 16:10. ... they did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer

d)  Judges 11:7. "... you drove me out of my father's house"

(This Second one reminds me that there are times that we need to Drive Them Out (whoever they may be)

PRAY; To Drive Them Out whenever we need to.

-------------------

Chris.

They brought him to Jerusalem and he died there. There are some amazing historical incidents recorded in the Old Testament! We can read that time after time the Victory belongs to the Lord, and, of course, the Glory too! Our responsibility in this situation is to simply and actively obey Him. Trust the Lord and His Promises!

Jesus And His Blood!

'Jesus And His Blood.'

Hebrews 12:24.

a)  To Jesus,

b)  The Mediator of a New Covenant,

c)  And to the sprinkled Blood

d)  That speaks a better word

e)  Than the blood of Abel.

(This QT reminds me that Jesus And His Blood are so very precious)

PRAY: To fully understand the value of the sprinkled Blood of Christ.

-----------------

'Give No Place To The Thief.'

John 10:10.

a)  The thief cometh not,

b)  But for to:

1-Steal.

2-Kill.

3-Destroy.

c)  I am come that they might have life,

d)  And that they might have it more abundantly.

(Through this Second one I determine to Give No Place To The Thief)

PRAY: To reject and cast out Satan - the thief.

-----------------

Chris.

It is our responsibility to give no place to the thief, We can best do this through a good personal relationship with God and an active, simple Prayer life. The Message of Christ was both simple and powerful! This is how He wants our lives to be and also our faith-sharing with others. Complicated and legalistic "Christianity" never wins anyone to a saving knowledge of Christ. Keep our Christian life and message simple!

Turn And Seek!

'Turn And Seek.'

Psalm 34:14.

a)  Turn away from evil

b)  And do good.

c)  Seek peace

d)  And pursue it.

(This QT calls me to Turn Amd Seek)

PRAY: To be a person who seeks Peace.

----------------

'Good.'

a)  Genesis 1:4. Light is good.

b)  Genesis 1:31. God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good.

c)  Numbers 14:7. An exceedingly good land.

d)  Deuteronomy 1:14; 1 Kings 12:7. The thing which you have spoken is good.

e)  Deuteronomy 4:22. Possess the good land.

f)  Deuteronomy 6:18. Do that which is right and good.

g)  Judges 8:32. A good old age.

h)  Judges 9:11. Good fruit.

i)  1 Samuel 12:23. The good and right way needs to be taught.

j)  1 Samuel 25:8. A good day.

k)  1 Samuel 25:30; 1 Kings 12:7. Speak good of others.

l)  1 Samuel 29:9. You are good in my sight.

m)  2 Samuel 18:27. A good man with good news.

n)  1 Kings 8:36. Teach them the good way.

o)  1 Kings 8:56. The Lord's good Promise.

(Through this Second One I want to follow what is good)

PRAY: To be a good person in every way.

----------------

Chris.

Follow what is good! Think what is good! Speak what is good! We live in a World which is fallen and sometimes evil, but as God's People we can still have an influence for good. Let us not look to blame other people but, rather, follow a good life in front of God.

Judah Put Them To Rout!

'Judah Put Them To Rout.'

Judges 1:5.

a)  It was at Bezek that Judah found Adoni Bezek.

b)  Judah fought against him.

c)  Putting to rout the Canaanites and the Perizzites.

(This QT teaches me that Judah Put Them To Rout)

PRAY: For Faith like Judah had, to put to rout our (spiritual) enemies.

---------------

'She Stopped...'

a)  Genesis 29:35; 30:9. Having children.

b)  Ruth 1:18. Urging her.

c)  2 Kings 4:6. Filling the jars because there were no more jars to fill.

d)  Mark 5:29; Luke 8:44. Bleeding.

(This Second one shows me that "she stopped" can be a positive thing)

PRAY: For Healing, Wisdom and Guidance from the Lord for the sisters in your Church.

---------------

Chris.

It is not always wise to urge another person to do something. An invitation or an encouragement may be given, but when that turns into urging it can easily become offensive. Many relationships in the Churches are harmed because of urging.

The Spiritual Firstborn!

'The Spiritual Firstborn.'

Hebrews 12:23.

a)  To the General Assembly

b)  And Church of the Firstborn

c)  Who are registered in Heaven,

d)  To God the Judge of all,

e)  To the spirits of just men made perfect.

(This QT teaches me about The Spiritual Firstborn)

PRAY: For the pure life of our local Churches.

---------------

'Christ's Desire For His Church.'

Ephesians 5:27.

a)  That He might present her to Himself a Glorious Church,

b)  Not having:

1-Spot.

2-Wrinkle.

3-Any such thing.

c)  But that she should be Holy and without blemish.

(Through this Second one I understand Christ's Desire For His Church)

PRAY: For our local Church to fulfil Christ's Desire For His Church.

---------------

Chris.

Just Believers will never be perfect in this fallen World! There should, however, be a work of perfection going on in every True Believer's life as they have a daily walk with Christ. It is true that, for those people who anticipate the time, that: "When we see Him we shall be like Him". This is the Hope of every True Believer.

Our Talking!

'Our Talking.'

Psalm 34:13.

a)  Keep your tongue

b)  From evil

c)  And your lips

d)  From telling lies.

(This QT reminds me about my Talking <Our Talking>)

PRAY: To be free from evil talking.

-------------

'The Fear Of The Lord And His Judgments.'

Psalm 19:9.

a)  The Fear of the Lord is clean,

b)  Enduring forever:

c)  The Judgments of the Lord

d)  Are True and Righteous altogether.

(Through this Second one I understand more about The Fear Of The Lord And His j

Judgments)

PRAY: To have the Fear Of The Lord.

--------------

Chris. The words that we speak through our lips are have power, the Bible tells us that! God wants us to speak words that encourage others and help them. This morning I just heard a Bible Message by Rev. David Stewart, my former pastor in Aberdeen. His words were so edifying and such a Blessing. Surely every True Minister should have the desire to speak such words!

The Lord Gave Victory To Judah!

'The Lord Gave Victory To Judah.'

Judges 1:4.

a)  When Judah went up

b)  The Lord handed them

c)  The Canaanites and the Perizzites.

d)  They defeated ten thousand men at Bezek.

(This QT teaches me that The Lord Gave Victory To Judah)

PRAY: For the Lord's Victory in our lives today.

------------

'Not One Of Them.'

Joshua 10:8.

a)  The Lord said to Joshua:

b)  "Do not be afraid of them;

c)  "I have given them into your hand.

d)  "Not one of them will be able to withstand you."

(Through this Second one I can see the Promise that Not One Of Them will be able to withstand the Lord's Servant)

PRAY: For freedom from fear of people.

------------

Chris.

As we walk with the Lord day-by-day and have a meaningful relationship with Him, we can experience the Promise here being a reality in our lives: "Not one of them will be able to withstand you!" We cannot be popular with everyone but we can Pray for people as the Lord leads us. It is effective to Pray in our personal prayers for those people whom we may feel are against us in some way. PRAY for any people whom we may know that are taking a journey today!

Wonderful Mount Zion!

'Wonderful Mount Zion!'

Hebrews 12:22.

a)  But you have come to Mount Zion,

b)  To the City of The Living God,

c)  The Heavenly Jerusalem.

d)  You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels

e)  In joyful assembly.

(This QT causes me to exclaim Wonderful Mount Zion)

PRAY: To come to Wonderful Mount Zion {The place of Worship}

-----------

'A Clear Understanding Of The Father's Love For Christ.'

John 10:17.

a)  "For this reason

b)  "The Father loves Me,

c)  "Because I lay down My Life

d)  "That I may take it up again."

(Through this Second one I have A Clear Understanding Of The Father's Love For Christ)

PRAY: For a clear understanding of The Father's Love.

-----------

Chris.

Prayer that leads us into Worship is very meaningful and Biblical. When the Church focuses on Prayer without being able to Worship will soon find that the corporate Prayer life of the Church becomes 'dry' and 'religious'! Worship, Praise and Prayer can somehow, in a Christian Meeting, bring life and a stronger Presence of the Holy Spirit.

A Good Condition To Be In!

'A Good Condition To Be In.'

Psalm 34:12.

a)  Whoever of you loves life

b)  And desires to see

c)  Many good days,

(This QT teaches me A Good Condition To Be In)

PRAY: To keep ourselves in A Good Condition To Be In.

----------

'Inner Being Life.'

Romans 7:22.

a)  For in my inner being

b)  I delight

c)  In God's Law.

(This Second one encourages me to have a good Inner Being Life)

PRAY: For the life of our Inner Being.

----------

Chris.

I am sure that God wants every True Believer to be in good condition in their inner man. A basic relationship with God surely helps us to be in this state. A daily walk with God and relationship with God through our personal Bible Reading and Prayer surely helps this. Healthy and edifying relationships with other True Believers are also very helpful.

Together Is Better!

'Together Is Better.'

Judges 1:3.

a)  And Joshua said to Simeon his brother,

b)  "Come up with me into my lot,

c)  "That we may fight against the Canaanites,

d)  "And I likewise will go with you

e)  "Into the territory allotted to you."

f)  So Simeon went with him.

(This QT reminds me that Together Is Better)

PRAY: For good people with which we can do what we need to do because: Together Is Better.

---------

'Follow God's Guidance,'

Judges 20:18.

a)  The People of Israel arose and went up to Bethel

b)  And inquired of God:

c)  "Who shall go up first for us to fight against the people of Benjamin?"

d)  And the Lord answered:

e)  "Judah shall go up first."

(This Second one calls me to "Follow God's Guidance.")

PRAY: To know and to Follow God's Guidance.

---------

Chris.

Every True Believer can Follow God's Guidance. The key for this is personal prayer and devotion. The safety net is fellowship with other True Believers. It is very clear from the Bible, and from the History and testimonies of True Believers that God does want to guide His People in a very real way. It is never the Will of God for one Believer to be dominated by another. We should remember that Prophetic Gifts are not meant for guidance... they are for edification, exhortation and comfort.

Even Moses Was Afraid!

'Even Moses Was Afraid.'

Hebrews 12:21.

a)  The sight was so terrifying

b)  That Moses said:

c)  "I am trembling with fear".

(This QT shows me that Even Moses Was Afraid)

PRAY: When we are afraid we need to turn to the Lord for help.

--------

'A Part Of The Fear Of The Lord.'

Psalm 119:120.

a)  My flesh trembles

b)  For fear of You,

c)  And I am afraid

d)  Of Your Judgments.

(This Second one reveals A Part Of The Fear Of The Lord)

PRAY: To have a healthy fear of the Lord.

--------

Chris.

It is a very clear fact that, as True Believers, when we are afraid we need to turn to the Lord for help. I find that there are many types of Christian. Some deny that they are ever afraid, even riding in a fast car with a crazy driver or sitting in a sinking speedboat, they deny that they are afraid. Fear is something that God has given to us for our good and our protection. If we are afraid, we can do something about it, firstly, come to God and secondly, if at all possible, get out of the situation that makes us afraid!

A Good Parent/Teacher!

'A Good Parent/Teacher.'

Psalm 34:11.

a)  Come, My Children,

b)  Listen to Me;

c)  I will teach you

d)  The Fear of the Lord.

(This QT reveals A Good Parent/Teacher)

PRAY: For our Nations to be filled with Good Parent/Teachers.

-------

'Our Loving Counsellor God.'

Psalm 32:8.

a)  I will instruct you

b)  And teach you

c)  In the way you should go;

d)  I will counsel you

e)  With My Loving Eye upon you.

(This Second one causes me to highly esteem My Loving Counsellor God)

PRAY: Trusting Our Loving Counsellor God.

-------

Chris.

The Psalmist sang: "Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord does not count against them." I have known and continue to know that blessedness. I thank God for the conviction of my sin by the Work of the Holy Spirit! That conviction surely draws me near to God so that I can come to Him and experience the forgiveness of my sin. Let us never reject the convicting work of the Holy Spirit!

A Specific Instruction From God!

'A Specific Instruction From God.'

Judges 1:2.

a)  The Lord said:

b)  "Joshua shall go up,

c)  "Behold,

d)  "I have given the land into his hand,"

(This QT reveals A Specific Instruction From God)

PRAY: For Grace and Strength to obey God's Specific Instructions.

------

'A Special Army.'

Judges 20:16.

a)  Among all these people

b)  Were seven hundred select men who were left handed;

c)  Every one could sling a stone at a hair's breadth

d)  And not miss.

(This Second one teaches me about A Special Army)

PRAY: For God's People to be a Special Army that defeats their enemies.

------

Chris.

If God's People were to see themselves as a Special Army, serving the Lord, they would primarily be an Army of Love and Grace. The spiritual battles are won in the private and secret places of Prayer. This calling, to be in the Special Army, is surely for every Believer. Everyone has different Gifts and Ministries in this Army. All we are to do is obey and serve.

They Could Not Endure The Order!

'They Could Not Endure The Order!'

Hebrews 12:20.

a)  For they could not endure the order that was given,

b)  "If even a beast touches the mountain,

c)  "It shall be stoned."

(This QT teaches me that They Could Not Endure The Order)

PRAY: For a heart to obey God.

-----

'Limits Are For Our Good.'

Exodus 19:12.

a)  And you shall set limits for the people all around,

b)  Saying,

c)  "Take care not to go up into the mountain

d)  "Or touch the edge of it.

e)  "Whoever touches the mountain will be put to death."

(Through this Second one I know that Limits Are For Our Good)

PRAY: To observe, and not to break, any limits given to us.

-----

Chris.

When we read the Book of Exodus, we can read of the protective freedom that God gave to His Old Testament people. Now, in the days of the New Testament, God still gives protective freedom to His People. What we are to do is to simply live within the boundaries of that freedom. The Bible tells us that Truth brings Freedom!

It Is Beneficial To Seek The Lord!

'It Is Beneficial To Seek The Lord.'

Psalm 34:10.

a)  The young lions lack and suffer hunger;

b)  But those who seek the Lord

c)  Shall not lack any good thing.

(This QT reminds me that It Is Beneficial To Seek The Lord)

PRAY: Seeking the Lord.

-----

'Righteousness And Justice.'

Psalm 103:6.

a)  The Lord executes

b)  Righteousness and justice

c)  For all who are oppressed.

(Through this Second one I trust the Lord's Righteousness And Justice)

PRAY: For Righteousness And Justice

-----

Chris.

Righteousness and Justice are both qualities that True Believers should speak up for. These qualities come from the Lord. He is the One Who takes initiative to spread them amongst mankind and endue mankind with them! We should highly value Righteousness and Justice firstly by practising them in our own lives!

A Significant And Important Time!

'A Significant And Important Time.'

Judges 1:1.

a)  After the death of Joshua,

b)  The people of Israel

c)  Inquired of the Lord.

(This QT reveals A Significant And Important Time)

PRAYER: For God to help us discern Significant And Important Times.

----

'Go To Hebron.'

2 Samuel 2:1.

a)  After this David inquired of the Lord,

b)  "Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah?"

c)  And the Lord said to him:

d)  "Go up."

e)  David said: "To which shall I go up?"

f)  And He said: "To Hebron."

(This Second one reveals a clear instruction from the Lord: 'Go to Hebron.')

PRAYER: To simply obey the Lord.

----

Chris.

David inquired of the Lord! If David, the Anointed Shepherd/King of God's people needed to inquire of the Lord, how much more do we need to inquire of Him too! To make important life-changing and family-changing decisions without consulting the Lord is simply foolish. Never hesitate to inquire of the Lord.

A Manifestation Of God!

 'A Manifestation Of God.'

Hebrews 12:19.

a)  And the sound of a trumpet

b)  And the voice of words,

c)  So that those who heard it

d)  Begged that the Word should not be spoken

e)  To them anymore.

(This QT reveals A Manifestation Of God)

PRAY: to be sensitive to the still, small Voice of God.

----

'A Simple And Pure Prayer.'

Luke 17:5.

a)  And the Apostles

b)  Said to the Lord;

c)  "Increase our Faith."

(Through this Second one I desire that I would always pray A Simple And Pure Prayer)

PRAY: With a Simple and Pure Prayer.

----

Chris.

We cannot determine how God will manifest Himself, that is purely His initiative! There are some groups of people who make "God" say what they want Him to say when He actually is not saying anything. If people say to us "God says..." we should be free to check what they say with the Word of God. Usually, if we already Christian, God's Word will be there in our hearts, witnessing to us: "Yes", or "No!"

Fear The Lord!

 'Fear The Lord.'

Psalm 34:9.

a)  Oh,

b)  Fear the Lord,

c)  You His saints,

d)  For those who fear Him have no lack.

(This QT reminds me to Fear The Lord)

PRAY: To Fear The Lord.

---

'Clear Loving Instructions.'

Leviticus 11:2.

a)  Say to the Israelites:

b)  "Of all the animals that live on land,

c)  "These are the ones you may eat:

(This Second one gives Clear Loving Instructions)

PRAY: For Grace to obey God's Clear Loving Instructions.

---

Chris.

When God gives us clear and loving instructions in His Word it is because He loves us. We do well to obey those instructions. This is not legalism, it is simply following the Lord. One of the major manifestations of the Lord for our lives is as our Shepherd! Our love for, and responses to, God's Word, are a very important part of our Christian Life.

Beautiful Church Life!

 'Beautiful Church Life.'

Ephesians 5:19.

a)  Addressing one another in:

1)  Psalms.

2)  Hymns.

3)  Spiritual songs.

b)  Singing

c)  And making melody

d)  To the Lord

e)  With your heart.

(This QT teaches me a part of Beautiful Church Life)

PRAY: For our Churches to enjoy Beautiful Church Life.

------------------------------

'A Night Of Prayer.'

Acts 16:25.

a)  About midnight

b)  Paul and Silas were praying

c)  And singing hymns to God,

d)  And the prisoners were listening to them.

(This Second one lays a good foundation for A Night Of Prayer)

PRAY: For the spiritual desire of our Churches.

------------------------------

Chris.

A night of Prayer is something that no Church should reject. A night of Prayer - especially held on a reasonably regular basis, can really bring the Lord's Presence into the Church in the way that each specific Church needs. It is not spiritually "fashionable" for a Church to hold a night of Prayer, but for those Churches who make a practise of holding such meetings, the spiritual value can be enormous. From the picture: please pray for the Missions to seamen.

Where We Have Not Come!

'Where We Have Not Come.'

Hebrews 12 :18.

a)  We have not come to a mountain that can be touched

b)  And that is burning with fire;

c)  To:

1-Darkness.

2-Gloom.

3-Storm.

(This QT reminds me to Where I Have Not Come)

PRAY: To be clearly led by the Lord.

------------------------

'There Is No God Besides Our God.'

Deuteronomy 32:39.

a)  See now that I Myself am He!

b)  There is no god besides Me.

c)  I put to death and I bring to life,

d)  I have wounded and I will heal,

e)  And no-one can deliver out of My Hand.

(This Second one teaches me that There Is No God Besides Our God)

PRAY: To trust in God.

------------------------

Chris.

Everything that the Word of God says about our God is and completely True. there are some cults and groups who try to manipulate God into what, or who, they think that "God" should be. This is really sin! Our God is the God of the Bible. We should come to God for Who He is ... GOD! We should come to Him in a humble manner, simply believing His Word.

Taste And See!

 'Taste And See'

Psalm 34:8.

a)  Oh, taste and see

b)  That the Lord is good!

c)  Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him.

(Through this QT I want to Taste And See)

PRAY: To take refuge in the Lord.

---------------------

'Christian Faith Experience Now.'

Hebrews 6:5.

a)  And have tasted the goodness

b)  Of the Word of God

c)  And the powers of the Age to come.

(This Second teaches me something about Christian Experience Now)

PRAY: To taste the Goodness of the Word of God.

-----------------------

Chris.

The Christian Life and Experience is something current. It is something that should be a "now" experience! This Life can only be experienced if we know Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour in a personal way. As we "grow" in our Christian walk and experience we can also develop confidence to share our Faith with other people in some way!

A Practical Pastoral Command!

 'A Practical Pastoral Command.'

1 Timothy 6:18.

a)  Command them to do good,

b)  To be rich in good deeds,

c)  To be generous

d)  And willing to share.

(This QT Is A Practical Pastoral Command)

PRAY: For Faith to obey God's Words.

-----------------

'Temptation.'

1 Corinthians 10:13.

a)  No temptation has overtaken you

b)  Except what is common to mankind.

c)  And God is Faithful,

d)  He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.

e)  But when you are tempted,

f)  He will also provide a way out

g)  So that you can endure it.

(This Second one gives Hope to those of us who are facing Temptation)

PRAY: For God's "way out" from every temptation that we may face.

-----------------

Chris.

Temptation is something that is common to mankind. I am not going to list a whole list of various temptations, we know when we are being tempted to sin, whatever kind of sin that may be be. The 'key point' is that God is able to deliver us out of that temptation. When we are tempted, we need to come to God, not turn away from Him!

A Serious Situation!

'A Serious Situation.'

Hebrews 12:17.

a)  For you know that afterward,

b)  When Esau desired to inherit the Blessing,

c)  He was rejected,

d)  For he found no chance to repent

e)  Though he sought it with tears.

(This QT reveals A Serious Situation)

PRAY: To be in good spiritual condition, ready to inherit the Blessing.

------------------

'Effort Is Required.'

Luke 13:24.

a)  Make every effort to enter through the narrow door,

b)  Because many,

c)  I tell you,

d)  Will try to enter and not be able to.

(Through this Second one I know that Effort Is Required)

PRAY: To make the effort to enter through the narrow door.

------------------

Chris.

"Grace" does not mean that we sit back and do nothing. We are Saved by Grace, but God expects us to live out our Christian life. We are to live in such a way that we can enter the narrow door which leads to Glory. This is the key to understand: We are Saved by Grace; we also Live by Grace.

Biblical Deliverance!

'Biblical Deliverance.'

Psalm 34:7.

a)  The Angel of the Lord

b)  Encamps round those who fear Him,

c)  And He delivers them.

(This QT reveals to me Biblical Deliverance)

PRAY: To Fear the Lord.

------------------

'Guardian Angels.'

Psalm 91:11.

a)  For the Lord will command His Angels

b)  Concerning you,

c)  To guard you

d)  In all your ways.

(Through this Second one I thank God for Guardian Angels)

PRAY: To Trust in the Lord.

-------------------

Chris.

We need to believe the Lord's Promise of Guardian Angels. I have heard many true stories of what seemed to be Angelic intervention in people's lives and situations. Even Jesus Christ Himself referred to the Angels. We simply believe that the Lord sends His Angels to help us in certain circumstances of our  lives.

A Word For The Wealthy!

 'A Word For The Wealthy.'

1 Timothy 6:17.

a)  Command those who are rich in this present age

b)  Not to be haughty,

c)  Nor to trust in uncertain riches

d)  But in the Living God,

e)  Who gives us richly all things to enjoy.

(This QT is A Word For The Wealthy)

PRAY: For people in the wealthy community nearby your Church to come to the Lord.

----------------

'Living In This Present Age.'

Titus 2:12.

a)  Training us to renounce ungodliness

b)  And worldly passions,

c)  And to live:

1-Self-controlled,

2-Upright,

3-And Godly

Lives

d)  In this Present Age.

(This Second one teaches me how to be Living In This Present Age)

PRAY:  To be Living In This Present Age for Christ.

--------------------

Chris.

Worldly passions have caused the spiritual weakening and even downfall of many Christians. If we can renounce those worldly passions and live for the Lord Jesus Christ, it means that we can be living the kind of life that is pleasing to Him. Surely, if we are truly "Born Again", that will be the motivation for our lives: living to Please the Lord!

The Christian Life!

'The Christian Life.' a)  Deuteronomy 7:11. Keep the Word of  God. b)  Deuteronomy  7:12. Listen to the Word of God. c)  Deuteronomy...
