e) It stands firm.

a) It is good to know the Lord.
b) It is good to know the Gifts that He is offering to us.
c) If we really knew these things.
d) We would ask Him.
e) He will then give us Living Water.

The Lord's Eternal Word stands firm. It cannot be altered, it's meanings cannot be changed. The Lord's Eternal Word is Eternal. It simply cannot be changed. Anyone who attempts to change any part of God's Word is a heretic. Because of the Lord's Eternal Word we can trust the Promises of God.
