Life!

‘Life.’
Ecclesiastes 6:12.
a)     Life is short.
b)     Life is meaningless.
c)      Who knows what is good for us?
d)     Life fades away like a shadow.
e)     Who knows what will happen after we are gone?
(Through this QT I thank God for the clear and Eternal Life that He has given to me)
---------------
‘God’s Ways Are Sometimes Painful For Us.’
Isaiah 48:10.
a)     God has refined us.
b)     God has tested us in hard times.
c)      The refining is not as difficult as the refining of silver.
d)     God has chosen us in the furnace of affliction.
(God’s Ways Are Sometimes Painful For Me: I can receive this Second one well)
---------------
Chris.
Who knows what will happen after we are gone? This is a very meaningful question. We should know the answer to who knows what will happen TO US after we are gone, especially if we are True Believers. The question does not say to us here, it just says what will happen. We do not know! That is why we need to have strong confidence in God, not only for ourselves but also for our family and friends.

Rumours Spread!

‘Rumours Spread.’
a)     John 21:23. Because of exaggeration.
b)     Exodus 23:1. But the Lord says that they should not.
c)      Leviticus 26:17. They can make us afraid.
d)     Deuteronomy 13:14. We should carefully find out if they are true and not just keep spreading them.
e)     2 Kings 19:7; Isaiah 37:7. They may upset us.
f)       Nehemiah 6:6. Even around the Nations.
(Through this QT I can see the painful fact that Rumours Spread)
 --------------
‘Heavens Rejoice Earth Watch Out.’
Revelation 12:12.
a)     The Heavens should Rejoice. It is correct for them to do so.
b)     Everyone who lives in the Heavens can join in.
c)      Woe to the inhabitants of the Earth and the sea, pity them.
d)     The Devil has been thrown down to the Earth and he is very angry.
e)     The Devil knows that he only has a short time.
(By this Second one I exclaim Heavens Rejoice Earth Watch Out)
--------------
Chris.
Rumours spread and they may upset us. Usually rumours are spread to “target” someone. It frequently happens in the cheap press and also in Churches, that is a very unusual combination but sadly it is true. That does not mean that the cheap press becomes like the Church but rather the Church becomes like the cheap press. If the Church can rid itself of rumours it may be ready for Revival and Renewal.

Sins And Good Works!

‘Sins And Good Works.’
1 Timothy 5:24-25.
a)      Some people’s sins are obvious.
b)      Even before the time of Judgment.
c)       The sins of other people surface later.
d)      Likewise, good works are obvious.
e)       Those good works that are not obvious cannot remain hidden.
(This QT teaches me about the revelation of both Sins And Good Works)
--------------
‘Rescued And Protected.’
Psalm 34:7.
a)      The Angel of the Lord encamps around those people who fear and honour Him.
b)      This Angel will rescue them.
c)       This Angel will protect them.
(This Second one reminds me that the Lord’s People can be Rescued And Protected by the Angel of the Lord)
 --------------
Chris.
Those good works that are done by people cannot remain hidden. We need to remember that there is going to be a Judgment of True Believer’s works.  We may think that the good works which we do just go unnoticed but that is not correct thinking. The Lord sees and remembers all of our good works.

Talk Thoughtfully And Carefully!

‘Talk Thoughtfully And Carefully.’
Ecclesiastes 6:11.
a)     The more we talk.
b)     The less sense we make.
c)      What good is it for us to talk?
(This QT encourages me to Talk Thoughtfully And Carefully)
-------------
‘Arguing.’
a)     Job 32:1. Should stop.
b)     2 Samuel 19:9-10. Can sometimes fill an entire Nation.
c)      Job 6:25. Proves nothing.
d)     2 Corinthians 12:20. Sometimes happens in Church.
e)     Philippians 2:14. Do everything without it.
f)       Philippians 4:2; 1 Timothy 2:8. Between True Believers should stop.
g)     James 4:2. Does not help us to achieve anything.
(This Second one teaches me that it is wrong to be Arguing)
-------------
Chris.
Arguing is an unnecessary evil and it should stop. If arguing is not stopped it can fill and break a family, Church or Nation. To argue our point proves nothing apart from the fact how stubborn we are. Sometimes arguing happens in the Church and it can really mess up the Church. Let’s quit arguing!

The Love Of God Expressed In Mercy!

‘The Love Of God Expressed In Mercy.’
1 John 3:17.
a)      If we have this world’s goods.
b)      If we see our Brother in need.
c)       If we shut up our heart to our Brother.
d)      How does the Love of God abide in us?
(This QT reminds me that The Love Of God Expressed In Mercy is still an important part of my life as a True Believer)
 ------------
‘God Really Creates All Things.’
Isaiah 54:16.
a)      God has Created the blacksmith who blows coals in the fire.
b)      God makes the blacksmith bring forth an instrument for His Work.
c)       God has Created the spoiler to destroy.
(Through this Second one I fully understand that God Really Creates All Things)
------------
Chris.
The Love of God expressed in Mercy should be expressed in every Church, every True Believer family and in every True Believer. To say that Mercy is not our “calling” is not very good sense at all. We need to understand that Mercy is one of the basic and primary ways in which God expresses His Love.

Medicine May Be Needed!

‘Medicine May Be Needed.’
a)      1 Timothy 5:23. For our digestive system.
b)      Proverbs 17:22. Via a joyful heart.
c)       Jeremiah 30:13; 51:8. For wounds.
d)      Jeremiah 46:11. In a sensible way.
e)       Proverbs 15:4. Via our words.
f)        Jeremiah 8:22. And doctors are sometimes needed very much.
g)       Revelation 3:18. For our eyes.
h)      Revelation 22:2. For healing of the Nations.
(Through this QT I know that Medicine May Be Needed)
 -----------
‘The Victorious Son Of God.’
1 John 3:8.
a)      Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the Devil.
b)      The Devil has been sinning from the beginning.
c)       The Son of God has come.
d)      To destroy the works of the Devil.
(This Second one causes me to Rejoice in The Victorious Son Of God)
-----------
Chris.
Doctors sometimes are needed very much. It is foolish for True Believers to despise doctors and to counsel against the professional advice that Doctors give. The Doctors go through very comprehensive training programmes and yet they still are human. Guess what? Pastors and Prophets are human too and usually not so skilfully trained as Doctors. We should get our medical counsel from Doctors and maybe some social life counsel too and we should get our spiritual counsel from Pastors and maybe some social life counsel too.

Handle Contention Carefully!

‘Handle Contention Carefully.’
a)  Ecclesiastes 6:10. We are not able to contend with God because He is mightier than us.
b)  Numbers 20:3. We should not contend with godly Leaders.
c)  Nehemiah 13:11. We can contend with ungodly National Leaders for the sake of God’s House.
(This QT reminds me that I Should Handle Contention Carefully)
----------
‘When The Devil Influences Somebody’s Life.’
John 8:44.
a)  They are lustful.
b)  They have wrong desires.
c)  They are willing to destroy other people’s lives in some way.
d)  They do not stand in Truth but on feelings.
e)  They tell lies.
(This Second one is a clear picture to me of When The Devil Influences Somebody’s Life)
----------
Chris.
We all need to be reminded that we should handle contention carefully. Contentious people can easily become bitter and proud. When we contend for what is correct then we have Peace and assurance about it in our hearts and not unholy anger.

False Prophets!

‘False Prophets.’
Jeremiah 28:1.
a)  Try to impress people in authority.
b)  May come from the families of God’s People.
c)  Speak their message in the Lord’s House.
d)  Often operate in the presence of many people.
(Through this QT I am encouraged to Pray against False Prophets)
---------
‘Followers Or Leaders?’
John 18:15-16.
a)  Peter and the other Disciple were following Jesus at a distance.
b)  This was the time when Jesus was being accused by the Jews.
c)  Peter remained outside the High Priest’s courtyard.
d)  The other Disciple who was with Peter was an acquaintance of the High Priest so he was able to go in.
e)  The other Disciple arranged for Peter to be brought in to the High Priest’s courtyard.
(Through this Second one I ponder upon the parts of Followers Or Leaders and I realise that both need the Grace of God very much)
---------
Chris.
It is important that we Pray against false prophets. Sometimes people who stand for the Truth are accused of bigotry or being ‘too narrow’. Because of these accusations some people are afraid of speaking out or losing friends. We need to consider the Church and God’s Love for the Church. Any Prayer that we Pray should never be condemnatory towards persons. Our Prayer is against the spiritual aspect rather than the deceived individuals who are bringing the false prophecies.

Choose The Fear Of The Lord!

‘Choose The Fear Of The Lord.’
Proverbs 1:7.
a)  The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Knowledge.
b)  Fools despise Wisdom.
c)  Fools despise Instruction.
(This QT beckons me to Choose The Fear Of The Lord)
---------
‘Serving God Well.’
a)  John 15:5. We can do nothing without Jesus Christ.
b)  2 Corinthians 4:7. We have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves.
c)  2 Corinthians 2:16. Who is sufficient for these things.
d)  Philippians 3:7. Whatever things were gain to me, those things have I counted loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count all things loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.
e)  2 Timothy 2:15. Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the Word of Truth.
f)  1 Corinthians 10:31. Do all things for the Glory of God.
g)  Matthew 5:16. We should let our light so shine before men, that they may see our good works and Glorify our Father Who is in Heaven.
h)  1 Peter 4:11. We should serve in the strength which God supplies: in order that in everything God may be Glorified through Jesus Christ.
i)  Galatians 3:5. As we serve we should have Faith in Christ.
j)  1 Corinthians 15:10. We are motivated through our identity in Christ.
(This Second one teaches me how to be Serving God Well)
---------
Chris.
The surpassing Greatness of the Power is of God and not of ourselves. We need very much to realise as we do God’s Work we need God’s Power. If we attempt to do God’s Work in our own strength and power we are going to have an empty tank very soon. We need to look to God, His Love is Wonderful and His Power is Great.

Pure And Simple Victory Over Bondage!

‘Pure And Simple Victory Over Bondage.’
1 John 3:8.
a)  Whoever makes a practise of sinning is of the Devil.
b)  The Devil has been sinning since the beginning.
c)  The reason that the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the Devil.
(This QT shows me the way to Pure And Simple Victory Over Bondage)
-------
‘A Secure Environment.’
Psalm 127:1-5.
a)  Psalm 127:1. When the Lord builds the family home.
b)  Psalm 127:1. When the Lord watches over the City.
c)  Psalm 127:2. When we have good and sufficient rest from the Lord.
d)  Psalm 127:3. Children are a heritage and reward from the Lord.
e)  Psalm 127:4. Children add strength to your family.
f)  Psalm 127:5. Children bring blessing from the Lord.
(Through this QT I believe that every believing family should have A Secure Environment)
-------
Chris.
The works of the Devil should have no part in our lives if we are True Believers. The True Believer family is given the Blessing of the Lord and the Devil has no part. Rather, the True Believer family, in the Word of God, is promised Victory over the Devil.

The Christian Life!

'The Christian Life.' a)  Deuteronomy 7:11. Keep the Word of  God. b)  Deuteronomy  7:12. Listen to the Word of God. c)  Deuteronomy...
