Philippians 4:15-18.
a) Philippians 4:15. They were committed in their support of Apostle Paul.
b) Philippians 4:16. They sent Paul gifts even when he was serving in other places.
c) Philippians 4:17. Paul knew that the Philippi Church would be Blessed because of their giving.
d) Philippians 4:18. Paul saw these gifts as the Philippi Church’s gifts and sacrifices to God. Their giving was pleasing to God.

2 Samuel 10:12.
a) We be strong.
b) We be courageous.
c) We fight hard for our people.
d) We fight hard for the cities of our God.
e) Then may the Lord’s Will be done.

Greed has been the stumbling stone for many Servants of the Lord. Apostle Paul sets us a good example. He was never greedy. He was always a good steward of God’s money. He was a faithful messenger taking gifts from various Churches to help the poor Believers in Jerusalem. He also handled the financial gifts given to him personally in a very wholesome way. He treated those gifts as something pleasing to God rather than pleasing to himself.
