Associations Inside And Outside Church!

‘Associations Inside And Outside Church.’
1 Corinthians 5:9-13.
a) 1 Corinthians 5:9. The Church should have no Fellowship with immoral people. (This Scripture is to be further explained here by Apostle Paul)
b) 1 Corinthians 5:10. Apostle Paul makes it very clear that he is not writing about non Believers. If we are living in the World system we will meet people of the World system all the time. They are our neighbours, our work mates and fellow students. People who live in sin and only Christ can change their lives.
c) 1 Corinthians 5:11. Apostle Paul is writing about so called “brothers” in the Corinthian Church. He writes that we should not associate with, or even eat with these people, whoever they are in the Church:-
1- Immoral.
2- Greedy.
3- Idolaters.
4- Revilers – mockers.
5- Drunkards.
6- Robbers.
d) 1 Corinthians 5:12. Our responsibility is to judge the people in the Church in a Biblical way.
e) 1 Corinthians 5:13. God Judges the people outside the Church.
f) 1 Corinthians 5:13. Our responsibility is to drive unrepentant evil people out of the Church.
(This QT clearly teaches me about Associations Inside And Outside The Church. God’s Word is very clear, so should I be)

‘God’s Covenant With Abraham.’
Genesis 17:1-10.
a) Genesis 17:1. The Covenant came from Jehovah’s initiative.
b) Genesis 17:1. The Lord:-
1- Appeared to Abraham.
2- Spoke to Abraham and identified Himself as the Lord Almighty.
3- Told Abraham to walk before Him.
4- Told Abraham to be blameless.
c) Genesis 17:2. The Lord was to make His Covenant with Abraham and to multiply him.
d) Genesis 17:3. Abraham spontaneously fell on his face.
e) Genesis 17:3. God talked with him.
f) Genesis 17:4-7. The Covenant of multiplication that was to be an everlasting Covenant to all generations.
g) Genesis 17:8. The Covenant included land.
h) Genesis 17:9-10. As a sign of covenant between God and His People all the males of His People were to be circumcised.
(Through this Second I am so Blessed to understand God’s Covenant With Abraham and to realise that I belong to this same Covenant keeping God)
----
Chris.
The Lord is the One Who makes Covenant Promises with His People. The way in which Abraham could receive the Covenant was by Faith in what God had said to Him. Covenant is always something personal between a person and Jehovah God. It is made in this Dispensation through the Blood of Jesus Christ and received by Faith.
