Levticus 3:3.

(This QT reminds me that Sacrificial Offerings to the Lord are important)

PRAY: To offer Offerings to the Lord that are acceptable to Him.

'Burn Them On The Altar.'

Exodus 29:13.

a)  And you shall take all the fat that covers the entrails,

b)  And the long lobe of the liver,

c)  And the two kidneys with the fat on them,

d)  And burn them on the altar.

(This Second one teaches me to Burn Them On The Altar)

PRAY: To follow the Lord's Instructions.

We should Pray for and about our Offerings to the Lord. It is clear from the Old Testament that the Lord gave very clear instructions regarding these Offerings. We need to offer to the Offerings that are pleasing to Him. Let us consider our Offerings and our attitude to them!

Gifts Christ Gave To The Church!

Ephesians 4:11.

a)  Now these are the Gifts Christ gave to the Church:

Selfless Prayers are very meaningful and selfless! Praying for other Believers to be strong are meaningful Prayers. The active Prayer Life of the True Believer is generous Prayer that really can bring changes. We need to pray selfless Prayers! From the early days of the Christianity until now Prayer is a very important part of the Christian Faith.

A Weak Response!

Acts 8:24.

a)  And Simon answered:

b)  "Pray for me to the Lord,

c)  "That nothing of what you have said

PRAY: For Faith to respond well to the Lord.

Exodus 9:28.

b)  For there has been enough of God's thunder and hail.

(This QT reminds me that Pharaoh Had Had Enough)

PRAY: To be ready to intercede for others.

God can do His Works in our difficult situations. Pharaoh, the enemy of God's People had had enough! He had seen the Powerful Hand of God at work on behalf of God's People. He was going to let the People of God go free from their captivity! The Scriptures tell us that if God is for us - who can be against us! Let every True Believer trust in God!

Getting Rid Of The Offal!

Leviticus 3:10.

a)  The two kidneys,

b)  The fat on them near the flanks,

c)  And the covering of the liver,

d)  Which he will remove with the kidneys.

(This QT reminds me of the Old Testament principle: Getting Rid Of The Offal.)

PRAY: Renouncing and rejecting valueless things from our lives.

Numbers 3:9-10.

a)  The Levites were given to Aaron and his sons.

b)  They were wholly given from among the Children of Israel.

c)  They were to guard their priesthood.

d)  If any outsider came near, they were to be put to death.

(This Second One reminds me about the Precious Priests)

PRAY for those people whom you esteem as Precious Priests.

An important Principle is taught here! If we are True Believers, we are to guard our priesthood. Our Prayer Life and our Lifestyle are very important factors in guarding our priesthood! Outsiders should never be appointed to serve the Church. 

Christ Descended Then Ascended!

'Christ Descended Then Ascended.'

Ephesians 4:10.

a)  He that descended

b)  Is the same also that ascended up

c)  Far above all heavens,

d)  That He might fill all things.

(This QT calls me to Worship the Ascended Christ)

PRAY: Remembering Ascended Christ.

Matthew 25:31.

a)  When the Son of Man will come in His Glory,

b)  And all the Holy Angels with Him,

c)  Then He shall sit on the Throne of His Glory.

PRAY: Anticipating the Eternal Reign of Christ.

Every True Believer has the Hope of seeing the Glorified Christ! This is a Bible based and secure Hope! Christ will surely come again with His Holy Angels. He will take His place eternally on His Throne!

f)  1 Samuel 9:23. The one that I asked you to keep with you."

1-Picked up the leg.

3-Set it in front of Saul.

i)  1 Samuel 9:24. "Eat, for it has been kept for you for this meeting time,

k)  1 Samuel 9:24. So Saul ate with Samuel that day.

PRAY: For cooks to cook well and be obedient to their leaders.

Cooks are important and necessary people. Whoever the cooks are cooking for, they should cook well at a high standard. Cooks need to be trained well and continue with learning cooking skills all of their active life. It is not easy to be a cook, this means that we should be praying for our cooks! Cooks need to cook in every kind of environment.

A Victorious Ascension!

Ephesians 4:8.

a)  That is why it says:                

b)  When He ascended on high

c)  He took captivity captive

d)  And gave gifts to His people.

(This QT reveals to me A Victorious Ascension)

PRAY: To receive the Gifts that Christ wants to give us.

b)  Speaking the Truth in love,

c)  We are to grow up in every way into Him

d)  Who is the Head,

e)  Into Christ.

(Through this Second one I see the importance of the exhortation: Speak The Truth And Grow Up)

PRAY: To grow up in every way into Christ.

Speaking the truth in Love and Growing spiritually go hand-in-hand! It is necessary for every True Believer to Speak the truth in Love. This may sound very basic but the truth is that some Believers find it extremely difficult to be completely honest. This may be for a variety of reasons but, actually telling lies and half truths is a sin. We need to both live and speak the truth.

If Possible!

 'If Possible.'

Acts 8:22.

a)  Repent therefore of this wickedness of yours,

b)  And pray to the Lord that,

c)  If possible,

d)  The intent of your heart may be forgived you.

(This QT reminds me of the important words ... If Possible)

PRAY: Considering carefully the words - If Possible.

Acts 15:12. 

a)  The whole group kept quiet

b)  And listened to Barnabas and Paul

c)  While they explained all the miraculous signs and wonders

d)  God had done among the Gentiles through them.

(Through this Second one I understand that it is sometimes important to Keep Quiet And Listen)

I am sure that presumptious prayer is offensive to God. Some of the "teachings" that I have heard about prayer make me cringe inside. We need to clearly follow the Teachings of the Lord Jesus and the Bible about prayer, these Teachings are laid out in God's Word for us! It is always good to be quiet before we pray so that we can prepare our hearts.

The Blood Must Be Shed!

Leviticus 3:8. 

a)  Lay your hand on its head

b)  And have it killed there.

c)  A priest will then splatter its blood

d)  Against the four sides of the altar.

(This QT reminds me that The Blood Must Be Shed)

PRAY: To remember the Biblical significance of the shed blood.

PRAY: Carefully asking for God's Blessing.

We should always esteem the Blood of Christ Jesus that has been shed for us! It is always efficacious! There is no Salvation without the shed Blood of Christ Jesus. This is something that we need to simply Believe. This believing is an act of simple Faith! When we Believe - we can be saved!

Grace Has Been Given To Each One Of Us!

Ephesians 4:7.

a)  Now Grace was given to each one of us

c)  The measure of Christ's Gift.

PRAY: For a real Faith in God.

Through this Second one I understand that The Lord God Lives There! This is a most important understanding to that helps me to comprehend God's Eternal Promise and Presence. If we neglect the reading of God's Word we miss receiving the Promises of God. True Believers are a people of the Word of God!

Having Our Heart In Good Condition!

Acts 8:21.

a)  You have neither part nor lot in this matter,

b)  For your heart

c)  Is not right before God.

(This QT exhorts me to Have My Heart In Good Condition)

PRAY: To have our heart in good condition.

Psalm 78:37.

a)  Their heart was not stedfast towards Him;

b)  They were not faithful 

c)  To His Covenant.

(This Second One reminds me that A Stedfast Heart Is Important)

It is our own responsibility to keep our heart in good condition before God. Nobody else can do this for us! God has give to us many things to help us keep our hearts in good condition. It is our responsibility to take hold of these things and use them.

The Lord Jesus Christ now fills all things. He is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent! This is our Lord and Saviour. We need to Believe the present Truth about Christ. If we do not believe this present Truth it will be so difficult for us to mature as Believers! The Gospel is not primarily about us, it is about Him Who fills all things.

 

God Is Above All!

Ephesians 4:6.

b)  And Father of all

c)  Who is above all

d)  And through all

e)  And in all.

(This QT reminds me that God Is Above All)

PRAY:  Proclaiming that God Is Above All.

God is Above all!! We need to actively and prayerfully Believe it! One of the most important facts of the Gospel that God is Above all! We also need to proclaim it. Our Faith in the Word of God is something that needs to be clear and consistent. Our proclamations about God and His Word are both significant and meaningful.

The Bible is very clear! If we read it in simple Faith, we can find the True meanings! We need to Believe that Christ Descended and then Ascended. This Truth is very necessary as a part of the foundation of Christian Faith!

It is clearly an important priority for our Churches to have oneness. Pray for it; live it out; make it a priority! Let us treasure oneness in our Churches.

A Lust For Power!

c)  "May receive the Holy Spirit."

PRAY: Not to have A Lust For Power.

We need to reject Lust For Power. If people are living with Lust For Power they will surely hurt and even destroy other people! It IS possible for people to live without Lust For Power. We need to live with a desire to Bless other people and repent of any jealous attitudes. It is good for us to go on living without A Lust For Power.

Leviticus 3:5.

a)  Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice,

b)  Which is upon the wood which is upon the fire:

c)  It is an offering made by fire,

d)  Of a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

(This QT teaches me that Aaron's Sons Knew What To Do)

PRAY: That we will know what to do.

PRAY: Giving thanks to God Who Is So Good.

It is good for us to continually proclaim that God is so good. We need to do this genuinely and frequently. Trust God and do not be afraid!

One Body, One Spirit And One Hope!

(This QT reveals to me that for every True Believer there is One Body, One Spirit And One Hope)

PRAY: To understand the meaning of One Body, One Spirit And One Hope.

c)  One Baptism.

(This Second one explains the simple foundation of Christian Life - Simple Faith)

PRAY: To have Simple Faith.

There is a "uniting Faith" here!  We can investigate this simple Truth in our personal Bible Studies. One Lord is surely our Lord Jesus Christ. One Faith is our united Faith in Him. One Baptism is the Baptism in water that is enjoined upon every True Believer. The pathway of Simple Faith should be taught in all of our Churches.
