Keep A Pure Heart For Holy Communion!

‘Keep A Pure Heart For Holy Communion.’
1 Corinthians 11:30.
a)       For the reason that the heart is not pure for the Holy Communion Worship.
b)       Some people are weak.
c)       Some people are sick.
d)       Some people sleep.
e)       Some people die.
(This QT Reminds me to Keep A Pure Heart For Holy Communion)
------------
‘Jesus Called For Order First.’
John 6:10.
a) Jesus wanted the people to be sat down in orderly fashion.
b) There was a lot of grass there so sitting down would be quite comfortable.
c)   So everyone sat down.
d) There were five thousand men. (Plus the women and children)

(This Second one Teaches me that Jesus Called For Order First)
------------
Chris.
This coming Lord’s Day in the Church where I Worship it is the Monthly Holy Communion Worship. (Sometimes known as the Lord’s Supper) Some Churches take it weekly, some monthly and some even annually. In New Testament terms it is probably the most intimate and Holy Worship service of the Church. The attitude and way which we have when we take this Holy Bread and Wine is very important, because it can also affect our physical life.

They Arrogantly Use Nonsense!

‘They Arrogantly Use Nonsense.’
2 Peter 2:18.
a)       Apostle Paul continues to write about false prophets and teachers.
b)       Jude 1:16. They arrogantly use nonsense to seduce people.
c)       They appeal to people’s sexual desires and teach sexual freedom.
d)       They seduce people who have just escaped from error.
(This QT reveals to me that They Arrogantly Use Nonsense)
-----------
‘From Mourning To Miracle To Faith.’
John 11:45.
a) Many of the Jewish people who came to Mary to comfort her.
b) Saw what Jesus had done.
c)   John 2:23. They Believed in Him.

(Through this Second one I find From Mourning To Miracle To Faith)
-----------
Chris.
The Messages that we hear or speak in Church should encourage people to live pure lives and to have the Fear of the Lord. These Messages should cause us to hate sin. The appeal in these Messages should be an appeal to Holiness. When the Messages we hear in Church do not lead us in the Holy Way we really need to test the message and even, if necessary, test the messenger.

That's It, Let's Go!

‘That’s It, Let’s Go.’
Isaiah 37:36-37.

c)       Then Sennacherib, King of the Assyrians departed.
d)       He returned home and lived in Nineveh.
(This QT shoes me the defeated heathen King: That’s It, Let’s go
------------
‘Compassion.’
John 11:19.
a) Many Jews came to Martha and Mary.
b) Job 2:11. To console and comfort them.
c)    John 11:31. Concerning their brother.

(This Second one shows me simple Compassion)
------------
Chris.
The defeated King Sennacherib simply departed when God intervened on behalf of His People. This was a very wise decision. Sometimes we make decisions that are not God’s Will because of our bravado or our sense of commitment that we have to do something when actually we do not have to do anything. Let’s humbly obey what the Lord wants each time.

Doing More Harm Than Good!

‘Doing More Harm Than Good.’

a)       Apostle Paul was giving the Corinthian Church instructions.
b)      He was not praising them.

(This QT gives me a desire for Pure Church: Doing More Harm Than Good)
----------
‘Listen Zerubbabel.’
Zechariah 4:6-7.
a) Zechariah had the Word of the Lord for Zerubbabel.
b)      The Lord said:-
1-      Not by might.
2-      Not by power.
3-      But by My Spirit says the Lord of Hosts.
c)   Before Zerubbabel the great mountain will become a flat land.
d)      Zerubbabel will bring forth the topmost stone and there will be much shouting:-
1-      Beautiful; beautiful.
2-      Blessings; blessings.
3-      Grace; grace.
(From this Second one there is a beautiful Message: Listen Zerubbabel)
----------
Chris.

When God works by His Creative Hand His Work is always Beautiful. We need to be more mindful of the Beautiful things that He does. In the business of daily life it is so easy to forget God’s works because we become so crammed out by our own works. It really does help, even for just a few minutes, to take time to think about God’s Works.

The Reality Of False Teachers And Prophets!

‘The Reality Of False Teachers And Prophets.’
2 Peter 2:17.
a)       They are springs without water.
b)      They are mists driven by a storm.
c)       The gloom of utter darkness is reserved for them.
(This QT reminds me of The Reality Of False Teachers And Prophets)
---------

a)       Peter wanted to know from Jesus how many times he had to forgive the brother who sinned against him.
b)      Peter suggested seven times.
c)       Jesus answered Peter seven times was not correct.
d)      The correct answer was four hundred and ninety times.
(This Second one helps me by Getting To The Root Of Forgiving Other People)
---------
Chris.

False Teachers and False Prophets are a reality in these days. We should not easily pass around people’s names as being a false prophet just because we do not like their style of Ministry. If we claim someone is a false prophet or teacher it should not be from passed on gossip but it must come from the evidence of the Truths of God’s Word and/or the True Believer’s lifestyle.

God Will Defend It!

‘God Will Defend It.
Isaiah 37:35.
a)       God said that He would defend the City to Save it.
b)      He would do this for His Own sake.
c)       He would do this also for His Servant David.
(This QT helps my Faith: God Will Defend It)
----------
‘True Worshippers.’
John 4:23-24.
a) Now is the time.
b)      For True Worshippers to Worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth.
c)    The Father is seeking such people to Worship Him.
d)      God is Spirit.
e)    Those people who Worship Him must Worship in Spirit and Truth.
(Through this Second one I desire to be amongst True Worshippers)
----------
Chris.
Our God defends us and He defends what is ours. Sometimes He allows things to happen that we cannot understand. One of the first responses to such experiences is questioning if God really defends us. We cannot fully understand the Will and Ways of God, and we never will. We are, however, called to Trust Him and to follow His Will. The basic Truth remains the same: God is Good, God is Love and God is Faithful.

They Are Worthless!

‘They Are Worthless.’
Isaiah 44:9.
a)    Some people make idols.
b) These idols are futile and worthless.
c)    The people who have idols treat them as something so precious.
d) Witnesses for idols are spiritually blind.
e)    Psalm 97:7; Isaiah 45:16. People who worship them shall be ashamed.
(This QT reveals to me that They Are Worthless)
---------
‘Actively Living In The Kingdom Of God.’
Matthew 21:43.
a)       The Kingdom of God will be taken away from the people who do not love and cherish it.
b)       The Kingdom of God will be given to:-
c)       Those people who produce the Fruit of the Kingdom of God.
d)       Those people who do what God wants them to do in His Kingdom.
(This Second one encourages me to be Actively Living In The Kingdom Of God)
---------
Chris.

The people who worship man made idols shall be ashamed. Even if they are not ashamed on this Earth, they shall be ashamed in Eternity. Ashamed firstly because of what they missed, they will encounter the Living God and the Day of Judgment. They will be ashamed, too, of any persecutions or hurts that they gave to True Believers. The plea of a Loving God, throughout the Word of God is that people forsake their idols and turn to Him.

We Should Not Forsake The Correct Way!

‘We Should Not Forsake The Correct Way.’
2 Peter 2:15-16.
a)       Because we go astray.
b)       Because we begin to love the wages of unrighteousness.
c)       If we do go wrong, God can use anything or anyone to restrain us.
(This QT reminds me that I Should Not Forsake The Correct Way)
--------
‘Now That Faith Has Come.’
Galatians 3:24-25.
a)       Law has been a tutor to lead us to Christ.
b)       Now we are Justified by Faith.
c)       Now that Faith has come we are no longer under that tutor.
(Through this Second one I am so grateful Now That Faith Has Come)
--------
Chris.
We should not begin to love the wages of unrighteousness. This is how we fall in temptation. When we love the wages of unrighteousness it means that our Spiritual Life is much in peril, it is on the way to shipwreck. Thank God that the Word of God tells us that along with every temptation, God has provided a way out.

He Shall Not Come To This City!

‘He Shall Not Come To This City.’
Isaiah 37:33-34.
a)       This was the Word of the Lord concerning the King of Assyria.
b)       He will not come to Jerusalem.
c)       He will not shoot an arrow there.
d)       He will not come before it with a shield.
e)       He will not throw up a siege ramp against it.
f)        The Lord says:-
1-By the way he came.
2-By the same way He will return.
3-He will not come to this city.
(Through this QT I receive strength to Pray: He Shall Not Come To This City)
-------
‘We All Need Faith.’
Hebrews 11:6.
a)       Without Faith it is impossible to please God.
b)       The person who comes to God.
c)       Must Believe.
d)       And that He rewards those people who seek Him.
(This Second one reminds me that We All Need Faith)
-------
Chris.

If we have real Faith it means that we will come to God. We do not wait for God to come to us. We come to God. We come with our ears and hearts wide open. We come to Him with humble hearts, ready to do His Will. If we have real Faith we will come to God believing that He will fulfil His Will.

Idols Will Not Help Us!

‘Idols Will Not Help Us.’
Jeremiah 10:8.
a)       Idols are:-
1-      Worthless.
2-      Stupid.
3-      Foolish.
b)       Their discipline is a discipline of delusion.
c)       It is really just the Worship of wood.
(This QT reminds me that Idols Will Not Help Me)
------

1 Kings 8:29-30.
a)       It was a Prayer to God to watch over the Temple He had chosen.
b)       Solomon asked God to watch whilst he Prayed.
c)       Solomon was the Lord’s Servant and all the people present belonged to the Lord.
d)       When any of God’s People look towards the Temple and Pray.
e)       Please:-
1-      Hear.
2-      Answer from Your Dwelling Place.
3-      And Forgive our sins.
(This Second one Solomon’s Temple Dedication Prayer, helps me so much)
------
Chris.
This is also a good prayer for us to pray. Lord, please hear. Lord, please answer from your dwelling place. Lord, please forgive our sins. We know that the Lord watches over us and sometimes we grieve Him by our thoughts, actions and words. Thank the Lord that we can come to Him and Pray just as Solomon Prayed.
