Injustice!

‘Injustice.’

a) Proverbs 13:23. Takes away food from the poor people.

b) Leviticus 19:15. Should not be done in court.

c) Deuteronomy 32:4; 2 Chronicles 19:7; Zephaniah 3:5. God is without it.

d) Job 4:8; Proverbs 22:8; Hosea 10:13. Those people who plough for it will reap it.

e) Job 11:14; 22:23. Should not dwell in our tents.

f) Psalm 58:2. Is devised in people’s hearts.

g) Psalm 58:10. The Godly people will rejoice when they see it avenged.

h) Psalm 64:6. Is plotted.

i) Psalm 94:20. Some leaders’ decrees permit it.

j) Psalm 125:3. The Righteous People will not apply their hands to it.

k) Isaiah 5:7. The Lord sees it.

l) Isaiah 58:6. The Lord wants to loose its chains from off His People.

m) Isaiah 59:3. Is muttered.

n) Isaiah 61:8. The Lord hates it.

o) Jeremiah 22:13; Habakkuk 2:12. Will bring woe.

p) Ezekiel 3:20; 18:24; 33:13. Can cause premature death.

q) Ezekiel 9:9. Sometimes fills a city.

r) Ezekiel 18:8. We should stay away from it.

s) Daniel 9:13. We need to turn away from it and pay attention to God’s Truth.

t) Daniel 9:24. Should be wiped away.

u) Hosea 10:4. Is like poisonous weeds in a farmer’s field.

v) 1 Corinthians 13:6. Love does not rejoice about it.

(This QT affirms my belief that God hates Injustice)

‘Positive Confession – Christ.’

a) Acts 8:35. Philip told the Ethiopian eunuch the Good News about Jesus.

b) Matthew 3:11; John 1:15; Acts 19:4. John Baptist confessed Jesus to the people.

c) Matthew 7:21-23; 1 John 2:4. Confession of Jesus Christ needs to be accompanied with obedience to God.

d) Matthew 10:32; Luke 12:8. Means also that Jesus will confess the confessor before the Heavenly Father.

e) Romans 10:9-10. Brings Salvation.

f) 1 Corinthians 12:3. Is the Work of the Holy Spirit.

g) 1 John 4:15. Means that God lives in us and we live in God.

(Through this Second one I find the only Positive Confession – Christ)

We can receive many forms of encouragement and motivation from the Ministry of John the Baptist. The Bible tells us that he was a man sent by God. He lived a pure and humble life in front of people and he had the purest motive to Glorify God. He said of Jesus Christ – He must increase, I must decrease – I like that!

Do Not Be Afraid!

‘Do Not Be Afraid.’

a) Matthew 10:28. Of people who can harm your body.

b) Matthew 1:20. Of marriage in the Will of God.

c) Matthew 10:26. Of people who may threaten us.

d) Matthew 10:31. You are valuable to God.

e) Matthew 14:27; John 6:20. Jesus is here.

f) Matthew 17:7. Get up.

g) Mark 5:15. When people are delivered from evil spirits.

h) Mark 5:36; Luke 8:50. Just trust Jesus.

i) Luke 1:30. The Lord has decided to Bless you.

j) Luke 2:10. There is Good News of great Joy for everyone.

k) Luke 5:10. Start fishing for people.

l) Luke 12:32. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.

m) Acts 18:9. Speak out and do not be silent.

n) Romans 13:3. Just do what is right.

o) Hebrews 13:6. The Lord is our Helper.

p) 1 Peter 3:14. God will reward you for doing right.

‘Go And Do It.’

Matthew 28:19-20.

a) Make Disciples of all the Nations.

b) Baptising the Disciples in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

c) Teach the Disciples all that we have been taught by the Lord.

d) The Lord is with us until the end of the Age.

In some Christian environments people have superstition and fear about the ministry of Deliverance from evil spirits. This ministry is a part of the proclamation of the Gospel – setting the captives free – and we should not be afraid of a Biblically sound Deliverance Ministry.

‘Timothy.’

a) 1 Corinthians 4:17; Acts 19:22; Philippians 2:19. Was a Messenger for Apostle Paul

b) 1 Corinthians 4:17; Philippians 2:22; 1 Timothy 1:2 & 18. He was Apostle Paul’s Beloved and Trustworthy child in the Lord.

c) 1 Corinthians 4:17. He reminded the Corinthian Church about Paul’s Teaching regarding Jesus Christ.

d) Acts 16:1. Came from a multi ethnic family.

e) Acts 16:2. He had a good reputation as a Believer.

f) Romans 16:21. Was Apostle Paul’s fellow worker.

g) 1 Corinthians 16:10. Was protected by Apostle Paul.

h) Philippians 2:20. Genuinely cared about the welfare of the Philippi Church.

i) 1 Timothy 6:11. Was a man of God.

j) 1 Timothy 6:20. Was to guard what God entrusted to him.

k) 2 Timothy 1:3. Apostle Paul thanked God for Him.

l) Hebrews 13:23. Was in jail for Christ’s sake,

Acts 22:16.

a) Get up.

b) Be Baptised.

c) Have confidence that your sins are forgiven.

d) Call on the Name of the Lord.

(This Second causes me to boldly ask the question of my readers that need to respond to it, Why Delay?)

Sometimes we need to be reminded of the Truths of God’s Word. We get so “used” to being Christians that we really neglect the true meaning of being a True Believer in Jesus Christ. The prime source reminder is the Word of God. Let us make room in our hearts and live for the Word of God.

Wealthy People Need To Be Godly People!

‘Wealthy People Need To Be Godly People.’

a) Proverbs 13:22. The sinner’s wealth passes to the godly.

b) Proverbs 28:8. In their financial dealings.

c) Job 27:16-17. If not that may lose all their wealth.

d) Ecclesiastes 2:26. God can take the wealth away from sinners.

a) Luke 15:10. Is amongst the Angels in Heaven when one sinner repents.

b) Nehemiah 8:10. Of the Lord is our strength.

c) Nehemiah 8:12; John 17:13; 1 Thessalonians 1:6. Can be ours when we hear and understand God’s Words.

d) Nehemiah 12:43. Cause for it can be God given.

e) Job 8:21. God can fill our lips with shouts of it.

f) Psalm 5:11; 9:2; 68:3. We can be filled with it because we love the Name of the Lord.

g) Psalm 14:7; 32:11. We can shout with it as a result of the Lord restoring us.

h) Psalm 21:6. It comes when we are in the Lord’s Presence.

i) Psalm 28:7; 69:32. When the Lord helps us our heart is filled with it.

j) Psalm 30:5. It comes with the morning.

k) Psalm 30:11. The Lord clothes us with it.

l) Psalm 32:2. We have it when the Lord has cleared our record of sin.

m) Psalm 43:4. God is the Source of all of it.

n) Psalm 63:5-7; 132:16. We can sing with it.

o) Psalm 70:4; 100:1. We can be filled with it as we search for the Lord.

p) Psalm 71:23. We can shout with it because the Lord has Redeemed us.

q) Psalm 149:5. Faithful people can sing with it as they lie on their beds.

r) Proverbs 13:9. The lives of godly people are full of it.

s) Proverbs 29:6. Righteous people escape from sin, shouting for it.

t) Ecclesiastes 2:26. God gives it to those people who please Him.

u) Isaiah 41:16. Of the Lord can fill us to overflowing.

v) Isaiah 51:11; 61:7. It can be everlasting.

w) Isaiah 56:7. The Lord can fill us with it in His House of Prayer.

x) Isaiah 61:3; Jeremiah 31:13 & 25. The Lord replaces mourning with it.

y) Isaiah 61:10. We can be overwhelmed with it in the Lord our God.

z) Jeremiah 33:11. Makes sounds.

aa) Luke 2:10. It can be great and for all people through the Gospel.

bb) Luke 24:52. It came to the Disciples greatly at the time of Christ’s Ascension.

cc) John 16:20 & 22. When we see Jesus Christ again we will have it in a wonderful way.

dd) Romans 14:17. In the Holy Spirit is a part of the Kingdom of God.

ee) 2 Corinthians 1:24. We can be full of it as we stand firm in our Faith.

The Lord is able to replace our mourning with Joy. This is the Lord’s Work. When we see or know people who are in mourning for some reason our best response is to accept them and to pray for them in our prayers. Trying to “cheer them up” is usually very empty for them. Only the Lord can replace mourning with Joy.

Mary's Faith!

‘Mary’s Faith.’

John 2:1-11.

a) John 2:1. Mary was at a local wedding. It was something very normal – someone in the community getting married.

b) John 2:2. Jesus and His Disciples were also invited to this wedding. The Presence of Jesus never spoiled a wholesome party.

c) John 2:3. Jesus’ mother knew that they had no wine and told Him about it. She cared for the people in the community. No wine meant social disgrace for the newly married couple.

d) John 2:4. Jesus did not want to get involved in something that He was not responsible for.

e) John 2:4. He told His mother that His Time had not yet come.

f) John 2:5. Mary’s Faith. She had Faith that Jesus would do something about it because she knew He was compassionate. She also had Faith to tell the servants of that house what to do.

g) John 2:6. There were six huge water pots there – used for ceremonial washing by the guests – somewhere between 120-150 gallons in total capacity.

h) John 2:7. Jesus asked the servants to fill the jars with water.

i) John 2:8. Jesus then asked the servants to dip in to the water and take what they get to the master of the feast. These servants also needed Faith to do this.

j) John 2:9. Jesus turned the water into wine and the master called for the bridegroom.

k) John 2:10. This wine was the best wine, the master could not understand what was going on.

l) John 2:11. This was Jesus’ first miracle:-

1- He did it in a place and district that He really was fond of.

2- Jesus showed His Glory through it. Jesus was Glorified on the Third Day of the feast. He was also Resurrected on the Third Day.

3- The Disciples put their Faith in Him because of it.

(This QT gives to me much encouragement from Mary’s Faith)

‘Jesus – The Living Word Of God.’

a) John 1:1. The Word:-

1- Was in the Beginning.

2- Was with God.

3- Was God.

b) John 1:2. The Word was with God from the Beginning.

c) John 1:10. The Word was in the World that was made through Him. But the world did not recognise Him.

d) John 1:14. So the Word became flesh and took a place among us for a time; and we saw His Glory--such Glory as is given to an only son by his father--saw it to be True and full of Grace.

(Through this Second one I am truly grateful to God for His Son Jesus – The Living Word Of God)

It is as the Word of God that Jesus Christ the Son of God and God the Son first made Himself manifest on the Earth in human form. Here is the first flesh manifestation of God Himself on Earth. The prime reason for His Presence on the Earth was to Glorify the Father.
