Complacent Women!

‘Complacent Women.’
Isaiah 32:9-10.
a)   Complacent women needed to listen because they were getting overconfident.
b)   They needed to hear the Word of the Lord.
c)   In a little over a year these complacent women will become:-
1- Troubled.
2- Careless.
3- Shuddering.
d)   Because the Harvest will not come.
(This QT calls Complacent Women out of their complacency)
---
‘A Blessed Woman.’
Luke 8:48.
a)   Jesus spoke to this woman after she was healed.
b)   He called her “daughter “– a loving word.
c)   He told her that her Faith had made her whole.
d)   Then He said to her:-
1.  Be of Good Comfort.
2.  You are well.
3.  God in Peace.
(This Second one reveals A Blessed Woman to me)
---
Chris.
The complacent women needed to listen because their lives had begun to go in the wrong direction. Whoever we are, male or female, complacency is dangerous. Complacency is one of the first signs on the road to ruin.

Temporary Suspension!

I will be offline from tomorrow because of hospital admission - I hope to be back soon.
God bless you all!

More About Fathers And Children!

‘More About Fathers And Children.’
Colossians 3:21.
a)    Fathers should not provoke their children to anger.
b)    Fathers should not irritate their children.
c)    If fathers do these things the children will become discouraged.
(This QT teaches me more about Fathers And Children)
------------------------------
‘Know And Believe.’
1 John 5:13.
a)    Apostle and Church Father John wrote these things to the Church.
b)    The Church consists of people who Believe on the Name of the Son of God.
c)    If we Believe like that then we can Know that we have Eternal Life.
(Through this Second one I see that it is important to Know And Believe)
------------------------------
Chris.
Know and Believe these are key words for the vocabulary of the True Believer. What makes a True Believer is their sincere Faith and response to God. The True Believer also has a desire to grow in the Knowledge of God.

Dedicated To Christ!

‘Dedicated To Christ.’
1 Peter 3:14-17.
a)    1 Peter 3:14. Sometimes we may suffer for doing righteous things. Actually we are Blessed and we should not be afraid of any people who want to harm us.
b)    1 Peter 3:15. We Dedicate our lives to Christ as Lord and Sanctify the Lord God in our hearts.
c)    1 Peter 3:15. We should always be ready to defend our confidence in God when anyone asks us to explain it. We are to do this with gentleness and respect.
d)    1 Peter 3:16. We are to keep our conscience clear. Then the people who treat the Christian life we live with contempt will feel ashamed that they have ridiculed us.
e)    1 Peter 3:17. It is better, if it is the Will of God, to suffer for doing good rather than doing wrong.
(This QT reminds me to be Dedicated To Christ)
-----------------------------
‘Pray For Family Salvation.’
Acts 16:31.
a)    These are the words of Paul and Silas. (Servants of the Lord)
b)    This jailer’s family should Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ at a very stressful time for the jailer.
c)    Then he and his family there with Him would receive Salvation in every sense.
(This Second one encourages me to pass it on: Pray For Family Salvation)
-----------------------------
Chris.
We need to have confidence that the Lord God is in our hearts. If we have this confidence then we are willing freely to do the Will of God. If we do not have the confidence that the Lord God is in our hearts, then we stumble along in in our spiritual walk with uncertainty.

The Liberal Man!

‘The Liberal Man.’
Isaiah 32:8.
a)    Will devise liberal things.
b)    Will continue his liberality.
c)    By liberal things he will stand.
(Through this QT I respect The Liberal Man)
----------------------------
‘No Big Thing.’
James 2:19.
a)    You Believe that there is one God.
b)    You do well.
c)    The devils also Believe it.
d)    And tremble.
(Through this Second one I understand that Belief in God is No Big Thing)
----------------------------
Chris.

Sometimes as Believers we make big things of things that we should simply just pay no attention to. We should not waste time on such things that can make us really pedantic about things in the Bible. Let us forsake the making of big things when there is absolutely no need to.

Fathers And Children!

‘Fathers And Children.’
Ephesians 6:4.
a)   Fathers are not to provoke their children.
b)   Fathers are not to make their children angry.
c)   Fathers are to bring up their children with these godly things:-
1-  Nurture of the Lord.
2-  Admonition of the Lord.
3-  Training of the Lord.
4-  Instruction of the Lord.
(This QT teaches me about Fathers And Children)
------------------------
‘Not Everyone.’
Matthew 7:21-23.
a)   Matthew 7:21. Not everyone who calls Jesus Christ ‘Lord’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only the person who does the Will of the Heavenly Father will enter Heaven. (This is the Teaching of Jesus Christ)
b)   Matthew 7:22. In the Last Day many people will say to Jesus Christ, “Lord, Lord:-
1-  Have we not prophesied in Your Name?
2-  In Your Name we cast out demons.
3-  Have we not done many wonderful works in your Name?”
c)   Matthew 7:23. Then Jesus Christ will tell these people that He never knew them. They were to go away from Him. They were just evildoers.
(This Second one reminds me that Not Everyone is accepted by Jesus Christ on the Last Day)
------------------------
Chris.

Children need the Training of the Lord and that should not begin in Sunday School - it should be in the True Believer family. If the Family are not True Believers then Sunday School is responsible until the family comes to the Lord. Too many Believing parents leave Spiritual Training for their children only to the Sunday School and that is not good.

They Will Not Harm You!

‘They Will Not Harm You.’
1 Peter 3:13.
a)    Who is there to harm you?
b)    If you are zealous.
c)    Proverbs 16:7. For what is good.
(This QT reminds me that They Will Not Harm Me)
----------------------
‘Wealthy Believers.’
1 Timothy 6:18-19.
a)    Wealthy Believers are to do good.
b)    Wealthy Believers are to be rich in good works.
c)    Wealthy Believers are to be generous.
d)    Wealthy Believers are to be ready to distribute.
e)    Wealthy Believers are to be ready to share.
f)      If the Wealthy Believers do these things they will store treasures for themselves as a good foundation for the future.
g)    Should be laying hold on Eternal Life.
(This Second one teaches me about Wealthy Believers)
----------------------
Chris.

In most Churches in Western Europe and North America (and also in some other parts of the World) there are wealthy Believers. Many of them are really True Believers. If the Church Leaders and Churches only treat them as potential sources of money they are justified in leaving the Church. Wealthy Believers also need to be living in Acts 2:42 and have good Fellowship amongst those people whom they trust.

No More Vile Fools!

‘No More Vile Fools.’
Isaiah 32:5-7.
a)   Isaiah 32:5. The vile fool will no longer be called liberal and noble, the scoundrel will not be called honourable.
b)   Isaiah 32:6. The vile fool:-
1-  Speaks folly.
2-  Has a heart that is busy with iniquity.
3-  Practises ungodliness.
4-  Utters error concerning the Lord.
5-  Does not feed the hungry or give drink to the thirsty.
c)   Isaiah 32:7. As for the scoundrel:-
1-  His devices are evil.
2-  He plans wicked schemes.
3-  He ruins the poor people with lying words.
(Through this QT I proclaim that there will be No More Vile Fools)
---------------------
‘An Important Beware.’
Luke 12:15.
a)   These are the Words of the Lord Jesus.
b)   Take care.
c)   Be on our guard against all covetousness.
d)   For one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.
(This Second one teaches me An Important Beware)
---------------------
Chris.
Vile fools are very obvious because of the bad fruit of their lives. There are three major changes that will come into a vile fool’s life if they repent. Their words will change, their hearts will change and their lifestyle will change.

Do Not Be Fooled!

‘Do Not Be Fooled.’
Deuteronomy 11:16-17.
a)    These are the Words of the Lord Himself.
b)    He says: “Be Careful.” and “Do Not Be Fooled”.
c)    We are not to turn away from the Lord and serve other gods or bow down to them.
d)    If we turn away from the Lord He will be very angry with us. He will:-
1-   Shut the skies and there will be no rain.
2-   Cause the land to not make a harvest.
3-   Cause His People to die in the good land which He was giving to them.
(This QT exhorts me: Do Not Be Fooled)
--------------------
‘Handle Our Riches Humbly.’
1 Timothy 6:17.
a)    Give this Command to those people in the Church who are rich in the things of this World.
b)    Tell them not to be proud.
c)    Tell them to Hope in God and not in money.
d)    God gives us all things richly to enjoy.
(This Second one tells me to Handle My Riches Humbly)
--------------------
Chris.

These are the Words of the Lord Himself. We need to remember that the Bible is God’s Word and we should revere it as such. The Bible has a much Greater authority than any Gifts of the Holy Spirit or any human authority and leadership. Let us revere the Bible.

One-Mindedness!

‘One Mindedness.’
1 Peter 3:8-12.
a)    1 Peter 3:8. The climax of what Peter writes is here:-
1-   Be of one mind.
2-   Have compassion one of another.
3-   Love as Brethren.
4-   Be pitiful.
5-   Be Courteous.
b)    1 Peter 3:9. We should not render evil for evil or railing for railing: rather we should be Blessing others. We should remember that we are called to Bless other people, then we will inherit a Blessing.
c)    1 Peter 3:10. If we are to love life and see good days we should refrain our tongue from evil and our lips from speaking guile.
d)    1 Peter 3:11. We are to decline from evil and do good also to seek Peace and pursue it.
e)    1 Peter 3:12. The Eyes of the Lord are upon the Righteous and His Ears are open to their Prayers.
f)      1 Peter 3:12. The Face of the Lord is against those people who do evil.
(This QT reminds me about One Mindedness)
-------------------
‘The Simple Will Of God.’
1 Thessalonians 5:18.
a)    In all things Give Thanks.
b)    This is the Will of God in Christ Jesus.
c)    Concerning us all.
(Through this Second one I find The Simple Will Of God)
-------------------
Chris.
We need to be pitiful people if we are True Believers. Pitiful people are not people who need pity rather they are people who are full of pity to share with other people. They are empathisers, they are caregivers into the Church.

In God's Eternal Kingdom!

‘In God’s Eternal Kingdom.’
Isaiah 32:3-4.
a)    The eyes of them that see shall not be dim.
b)    The ears of them that hear shall harken.
c)    The heart of them that are rash shall understand Knowledge.
d)    The tongue of those who stammer shall be ready to speak plainly.
(This QT reveals to me what Hope there is for His People in God’s Eternal Kingdom)
------------------
‘God Is Our Leader And Instructor.’
Psalm 32:8.
a)    He will Instruct us.
b)    He will Teach us in the Way that we should go.
c)    He will Guide us with His Eye.
(Through this Second one I know that God Is My Leader And Instructor)
------------------
Chris.
As True Believers we have Hope in God’s Eternal Kingdom. This may be especially so for those True Believers who have lived a life of suffering. There are times when we forget that our lives are Eternal. For us the best is yet to come.

" When God Restores His People."

'When God Restores His People.' Psalm 102:13-17. a) 102:13. It is a time when God arises to manifest His Compassion and Grace. ...
