The Beautiful Christian Wife!

‘The Beautiful Christian Wife.’
1        Peter 3:3-4.
a)      The focus needs to be on the inner life. There is absolutely nothing incorrect about the exterior being beautiful or pretty.
b)     The hidden person of the heart needs to be adorned – that is the “real you”!
c)      The lasting beauty of a:-
1-    Gracious.
2-     Quiet spirit.
3-     Meek spirit.
d)     God delights in this kind of person.
(This QT reveals to me The Beautiful Christian Wife)
------------------
‘Overcomers.’
1 John 5:4.
a)      Whoever is born of God.
b)     Overcomes the corrupt World system.
c)      This is the Victory that has overcome the World system.
d)     Our Faith.
(Through this Second one I want to be amongst the Overcomers)
-------------------
Chris.
God specialises in giving His Daughters lasting beauty, the kind of beauty that is found in 1 Peter 3. Church life for all the congregation is very fine when God’s Sons and Daughters are living as He wants them to live.

When The Lord Heats His Furnace!

‘When The Lord Heats His Furnace.’
Isaiah 31:9.
a)       The Assyrian shall pass run away, even from his stronghold in fear.
b)      The Assyrian Princes will desert their flag. (Standard)
c)       This is what the Lord says.
d)      The Lord’s Fire is in Zion.
e)       The Lord’s Furnace is in Jerusalem.
(This QT shows me what happens When The Lord Heats His Furnace)
-----------------
‘The Sanctuary Is Supposed To Be Holy.’
Ezekiel 44:7-9.
a)       Ezekiel 44:7. The people of Israel were rebuked by God for bringing strangers in the place of Worship. The problem became that Israel allowed these strangers to participate in their Worship.
b)      Ezekiel 44:8. Israel had chosen their own keepers to keep charge of the Holy Things. Israel had neglected their responsibility.
c)       Ezekiel 44:9. The Lord’s Answer for this problem:- Therefore thus says the Lord God: No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart and flesh, of all the foreigners who are among the people of Israel, shall enter My Sanctuary.
(This Second one teaches me that The Sanctuary Is Supposed To Be Holy)
-----------------
Chris.

The Lord’s Furnace is in Jerusalem. As I ponder upon these pieces that I just wrote I find The Holy Heart of God. As Churches we cannot compromise with the ways of the World. We need to follow the Will and Word of God. I deeply respect the Churches that have Worship meetings for Believers and Open Meetings for all comers.

Jesus Spoke Up For The Children!

‘Jesus Spoke Up For The Children.’
Matthew 21:15-16.
a)       The Chief Priests and Scribes saw the wonderful things that Jesus did.
b)      The children cried out in the Temple.
c)       The children were saying “Hosanna to the Son of David.”
d)      The Chief Priests and Scribes were indignant and displeased.
e)       The Chief Priests and Scribes asked Jesus if He heard what they were saying.
f)        Jesus replied in the affirmative and turned to the Word of God.
g)      He reminded them of the Scripture that said that out of the mouths of babes and infants Thou hast brought forth perfect Praise.
(This QT reminds me that Jesus Spoke Up For The Children)
----------------
‘Merciful People.’
Matthew 5:7.
a)       Merciful people.
b)      Will be Blessed.
c)       For they shall obtain Mercy.
(Through this Second one I desire to be a Merciful Person)
----------------
Chris.
The Chief Priests and Scribes asked Jesus if He heard what the children were saying. That is a ridiculous question! Of course Jesus heard and knew what they were saying. Sometimes in our Prayers we are like the Chief Priests, we are asking the Lord if He knows this or that, if He cares, has He heard and similar things. Let us Trust the Lord rather than doubt Him.

Gentle, Pure And Powerful!

‘Gentle, Pure And Powerful.’
1 Peter 3:1-2.
a)       Wise wives trust in the authority of their husbands.
b)      Even if some husbands do not obey the Word.
c)       They can be won over through the conduct of their wives.
d)      These husbands can see the purity and reverence of their wives.
(This QT teaches me that a good Believing wife is: Gentle, Pure And Powerful)
---------------
‘Every One Of Us.’
Romans 14:12.
a)       So then.
b)      Each one of us.
c)       Will be accountable.
d)      To God.
(This Second one is for Every One Of Us)
---------------
Chris.

A good Believing wife is: Gentle, Pure and Powerful. The Believing wife’s Prayers, for her family in particular, are so meaningful and powerful. A good Believing wife does not live in fear but she lives in trust. She is secure in the Lord even if her family is not yet living and walking in Him.

Turn Back To The Lord Then Victory Will Come!

‘Turn Back To The Lord Then Victory Will Come.’
Isaiah 31:6-8.
a)       Isaiah 31:6. Turn back to Him Who you have deeply betrayed, people of Israel.
b)      Isaiah 31:7. On the day you turn back to Him, you will destroy all the idols that you had formerly made.
c)       Isaiah 31:8. The Sword of the Lord shall defeat the enemies of God’s People.
(This QT teaches me to Turn Back To The Lord Then Victory Will Come)
----------------
‘Servants And Stewards.’
1 Corinthians 4:1-2.
a)       Think of our Spiritual Leaders as Servants of Christ.
b)      Think of our Spiritual Leaders as Stewards of God’s Mysteries.
c)       It is required of Stewards that they should be found Faithful and Trustworthy.
(Through this Second one I understand more about Servants And Stewards)
----------------
Chris.

It is most certain that if the Lord’s people turn away from Him they cannot expect any Kingdom Victory that they hope for. This is why God calls His People back to Him. Even if His People deeply betray Him God’s Heart is to restore them if they return to Him.

Jesus Loved And Blessed The Little Children!

‘Jesus Loved And Blessed The Little Children.’
Mark 10:13-16.
a)    Mark 10:13. They brought young children to Jesus so that He should touch them.
b)     Mark 10:13. The Disciples rebuked and spoke sternly to the people who brought their children.
c)     Mark 10:14. When Jesus saw this He was much displeased. He told His Disciples that they:-
1-     Should let the little children come to Him.
2-    Should not stop the little children.
3-    Are the ones to whom the Kingdom of God belongs.
d)    Mark 10:15. Jesus said that whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God as a little child shall never enter it.
e)     Mark 10:16. Then Jesus:-
1-     Took the little children up in His Arms.
2-    Put His Hands upon them.
3-    Blessed them.
(This QT reminds me that Jesus Loved And Blessed The Little Children)
----------
‘Elijah And The Word Of The Lord.’
1 Kings 17:8.
a)    The Word of the Lord.
b)     Came.
c)     To Elijah.
d)    This Word was speaking some clear direction to him.
(This Second one challenges me as to my personal relationship with God: Elijah And The Word Of The Lord)
----------
Chris.
The people brought their children to Jesus. These people obviously loved their children and obviously wanted Jesus to Bless their children. The Disciples of Jesus could not understand this, they were Teachers, Healers and Assistants to Jesus in His Ministry. To them children who were not their own were not important. Jesus had a different concept, that actually the children were very important and He Blessed them.

Stray No More!

‘Stray No More.’
1 Peter 2:25.
a)    We were going astray like sheep.
b)     Now we have returned.
c)     To the Shepherd and Bishop of our souls.
(This QT encourages me to Stray No More)
---------------
‘Abraham’s Reward.’
Genesis 22:16-17.
a)    God saw what Abraham did and God said.
b)     That He had sworn.
c)     Because Abraham did not withhold his only son.
d)    In Blessing God was going to Bless Abraham.
e)     God was going to multiply Abraham’s seed.
f)       Abraham’s offspring were going to possess the gate of their enemies.
(This Second one shows me Abraham’s Reward)
---------------
Chris.

Abraham’s Reward is very encouraging reading for me. Abraham firstly trusted God and secondly obeyed God and then God rewarded him. I am reminded of the old hymn: “Trust and obey, for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey”.

The Lord Of Heaven's Armies!

‘The Lord Of Heaven’s Armies.’
Isaiah 31:4-5.
a)    This was the Word of the Lord.
b)     When a strong or young lion is growling over the sheep that it has killed.
c)     The lion is not frightened by the noise of a crowd of shepherds.
d)    The Lord of Hosts will come down to fight on Mount Zion.
e)     The Lord of Heaven’s Armies will hover over Jerusalem.
f)       The Lord will:-
1-     Defend Jerusalem.
2-    Deliver Jerusalem.
3-    Preserve Jerusalem.
4-    Protect Jerusalem.
5-    Save Jerusalem.
6-    Rescue Jerusalem.
(This QT teaches me more about The Lord Of Heaven’s Armies)
--------------
‘Faith Is.’
Hebrews 11:1.
a)    Faith is the confidence that what we actually Hope for will actually happen.
b)     Faith gives us assurance.
c)     About things we cannot see.
(This Second one helps me to know what Faith Is)
--------------
Chris.

This was the Word of the Lord. When we know that the Lord is speaking to us we need to pay attention to Him. Sometimes we reject the Word of the Lord and that is really not wise.

Delightful And Humbling Teaching Of Jesus Christ!

‘Delightful And Humbling Teaching Of Jesus Christ.’
Mark 9:33-37.
a)      Mark 9:33. Jesus and His Disciples came to the house in Capernaum where they were going to stay.
b)      Mark 9:33. Jesus asked His Disciples what they were arguing about along the road.
c)       Mark 9:34. They were ashamed to answer so stayed silent. They were arguing about which one of them was the greatest.
d)      Mark 9:35. Jesus sat down and then called His Disciples to Him. Jesus said to them:-
1-      If any man wants to be first.
2-     He must be last of all.
3-     He will be the one to care for other people.
e)      Mark 9:36. Then Jesus:-
1-      Took a child.
2-     Set him in the midst of the Disciples.
3-     Then took him up in His Arms.
4-     Jesus then spoke to His Disciples again:-
f)        Mark 9:37. “Whoever receives one little child in My Name receives Me. Whoever receives Me actually receive not Me but Him Who sent Me.”
(This QT reveals to me the Delightful And Humbling Teaching Of Jesus Christ)
-------------
‘Is It Possible To Eat Sinfully?’
Romans 14:23.
a)      If we have doubts about the food we eat, whether it is “clean” or not in God’s eyes.
b)      Then God says that we are guilty when we eat it.
c)       It is because we are eating without Faith.
d)      Whatsoever is not of Faith is sin.
(This Second one answers my question: Is It Possible To Eat Sinfully?)
-------------
Chris.
Jesus sat down and called His Disciples to Him. Then He spoke to them. Generally, even when He was Teaching the crowds Jesus sat down to Teach. This time it was exclusively for those people who were the closest to Him. I think that sometimes the words “formal” and “informal” invade our Church life unnecessarily. It is worth our time in Church or house/small group to consider carefully the Teaching styles of our Lord Jesus Christ.

A New Life!

‘A New Life.’
1 Peter 2:24.
a)      Jesus Himself bore our sins on His Own Body at the Cross.
b)      We, having died to sin, might live for Righteousness.
c)       We were healed by His stripes.
(This QT assures me that through the Cross I have A New Life)
------------
‘Faith Comes.’
Romans 10:17.
a)      Faith comes.
b)      By hearing.
c)       Hearing comes.
d)      From the Word of God.
(Through this Second one I know that Faith Comes)
------------
Chris.

Faith comes. Faith is a Gift from God to us. Primarily our Faith will come from the Word of God. As we read the Word of God, Listen to it and ponder over it our Faith will surely grow. Every True Believer needs Faith and more Faith.

" When God Restores His People."

'When God Restores His People.' Psalm 102:13-17. a) 102:13. It is a time when God arises to manifest His Compassion and Grace. ...
