A Personal Challenge!

‘A Personal Challenge.’
James 3:2.
a)      We all make mistakes and stumble in many ways.
b)     If someone does not make mistakes in how they speak or in what they say, this person would be perfect and mature.
c)      This person will be able to control everything that they do.
(This QT gives me A Personal Challenge)
--------------------
‘We See It God Can Change It.’
Ecclesiastes 3:16.
a)      The writer saw something else under the sun.
b)     There is wickedness where justice should be found.
c)      There is wickedness where righteousness should be found.
d)     We see it – God can change it.
(This Second one gives me hope: I See It God Can Change It)
--------------------
Chris.

We all make mistakes and stumble in many ways. Most of us really regret when we realise that we have made a mistake. Some people actually become defeated by the burden of guilt associated with making mistakes. Some people quit when they make mistakes. The first, but not the only, thing we do when we make a mistake is to come to God.

Only The Lord!

‘Only The Lord.’
Isaiah 26:13.
a)      Oh Lord our God.
b)     You are not the only master to rule us.
c)      But we acknowledge only You.
(Through this QT I proclaim: Only The Lord)
-------------------
‘Haven’t You Heard?’
Isaiah 40:28-31.
a)      Isaiah 40:28. Don’t you know? Haven’t You Heard?
b)     Isaiah 40:28. The:-
1-  Eternal God.
2-  The Lord.
3-  The Creator of the ends of the Earth.
c)      Isaiah 40:28. He does not grow tired or become weary.
d)     Isaiah 40:28. His understanding is beyond reach.
e)      Isaiah 40:29. The Eternal God gives strength to those people who grow tired.
f)       Isaiah 40:29.  He increases the Strength of those people who are weak.
g)     Isaiah 40:30. Even young people:-
1-  Grow tired.
2-  Become weary.
3-  Stumble.
4-  Fall.
h)     Isaiah 40:31. Those people who Wait upon the Lord get fresh strength. They:-
1-  Will soar on wings like eagles.
2-  Will run and not become weary.
3-  Will walk and not grow tired.
(This Second one is a Message from the Lord: Haven’t You Heard?)
-------------------
Chris.

Those people who wait upon the Lord gain fresh strength. This ‘waiting’ is referring to an active and deep relationship with the Lord. Spending quality time with Him! If we have this kind of walk with the Lord surely we will also have strength from Him.

Our Great Shepherd Back To Life!

‘Our Great Shepherd Back To Life.’
Hebrews 13:20.
a)    The God of Peace.
b)    Brought our Great Shepherd of the sheep.
c)     He is our Lord Jesus – the Great Shepherd.
d)    Back to life through the Blood of an Eternal Covenant.
(This QT gives me Hope for Joy and Victory: Our Great Shepherd Back To Life)
------------------
‘Ask God And Do Not Reject Him.’
Jeremiah 6:16.
a)    This is the Word of the Lord, what the Lord says.
b)    Stand at the Crossroads and Look.
c)     Ask which paths are the old reliable paths.
d)    Ask which way leads to blessings.
e)    Live in these ways and we will find a resting place for ourselves.
f)    But God’s People rejected Him and said that they did not want to live like that.
(Through this Second one I know that I should Ask God And Not Reject Him)
------------------
Chris.

Jesus, our Great Shepherd, has resurrected and still lives today. The fact that He is alive and is at the Father’s Right Hand interceding for us should give us Hope. Hope is a very important part of our lives as True Believers. Without it life can become so meaningless and depressing. I hope for Joy and Victory because Jesus lives.

Church And Bible Teachers Need The Fear Of The Lord!

‘Church And Bible Teachers Need The Fear Of The Lord.’
James 3:1.
a)    Not many people should become teachers.
b)    Teachers are not born, they ‘become’ through their diligent study and pure spirituality.
c)     Because of their responsibility teachers will receive a greater Judgment.
(Through this QT I know that Church And Bible Teachers Need To Fear The Lord)
-----------------
‘Do We Need A Rest?’
Matthew 11:28.
a)    Come to Jesus.
b)    All people who are:-
1-   Tired from carrying heavy loads.
2-   Labouring.
3-   Burdened.
c)     Jesus will give us rest.
(This Second one gives tired people Hope: Do We Need A Rest?)
-----------------
Chris.
Do we need a rest? There are many times we do! (Or I can put that there are many times I do!) The first place to come when we need a rest is to be alone with Jesus. He is the One Who Promises us rest. When we do not come to Him that is when we suffer unnecessarily, especially if we are True Believers. Do we need a rest? Come to Jesus.

The Lord Has Done And Will Do It!

'The Lord Has Done And Will Do It.’
Isaiah 26:12.
a)    The Lord will establish Peace for us.
b)    The Lord has wrought all our works in us.
c)     The Lord has done everything for us.
(This QT gives me great confidence that The Lord Has Done And Will Do It)
------------------
‘A God Ordained Pattern.’
Genesis 2:2-3.
a)    By the seventh day God finished and ended the work which He had been doing.
b)    On the seventh day God stopped and rested from all His Work.
c)     God bless the seventh day and Sanctified it.
d)    That day God stopped all His Work of Creation.
(This Second one teaches me a God Ordained Pattern)
------------------
Chris.
It is good to search the Word of God for God ordained patterns. God is a Creator and He sometimes creates patterns. We can see this clearly right from the beginning of Creation. We can see this also in the founding of the New Testament Church. There were clear patterns for Worship.

A Good Shepherd!

‘A Good Shepherd.’
Luke 15:4.
a)       A good shepherd will be trusted to look after many sheep, in this case one hundred.
b)       He may even lose one sheep who wanders away from the flock.
c)       He leaves the ninety nine sheep grazing in the pasture.
d)      He looks for the lost sheep until he finds it.
(This QT teaches me what A Good Shepherd means)
------------
‘Jesus Is The Good Shepherd.’
John 10:10-11.
a)       The thief comes to:-
1-     Steal.
2-     Kill.
3-     Destroy.
b)       Jesus came to give more abundant life.
c)       Jesus is the Good Shepherd.
d)      He comes to give His Life for His Sheep.
(Jesus Is The Good Shepherd)
------------
Chris.

A good shepherd is a very special person. A good shepherd is both wise and compassionate. A good shepherd is persistent in the task that is before them. A good shepherd is a life giver for the sheep. Jesus Christ our Lord is the model Good Shepherd, we can trust and follow Him.

It Is Dead!

‘It Is Dead.’
James 2:26.
a)       A body without a spirit.
b)       Is dead.
c)       Faith without works.
d)      Is dead.
(This QT is so simple to understand: It Is Dead)
------------
‘Amazing Faith.’
Hebrews 11:1-2.
a)       Faith assures us of things we expect.
b)       Faith convinces us of the existence of things that we cannot see.
c)       God accepted our ancestors because of their Faith.
(Through this Second one I am in awe of Amazing Faith)
------------
Chris.

The Bible is very clear about many important issues. It is actually easy to understand if we are in Christ. This Scripture tells us that a body without a spirit is dead. This Truth is simply obvious to everyone. It goes further… Faith without works is dead too. This is really important… if we have Faith we need to express it in some way. Talking, helping and writing are the major ways of expressing our Faith.

They Will Be Put To Shame!

‘They Will be Put To Shame.’

a)       Although the wicked are shown pity.
b)       They do not learn to do what is correct.
c)       They learn to do what is wrong in the upright land.

e)       The Lord’s Power is visible but they do not see it.
f)        They will see how devoted God’s real People are.
g)       They will be put to shame.
h)       God’s devouring fire will destroy His Enemies.
(Through this QT I know that They Will Be Put To Shame)
-----------
‘The Power Of Prayer.’
James 5:16-18.
a)       James 5:16. So admit your sins to each other.
b)       James 5:16. Pray for each other that you may be healed.
c)       James 5:16. Prayers offered by those people who have God’s Approval are effective.
d)      James 5:17. Elijah was human like us. Yet, when he Prayed that it wouldn’t rain, no rain fell on the ground for three and a half years.
e)       James 5:18. Elijah then Prayed again. It rained and the ground produced crops.
(This Second one shows me The Power Of Prayer)
-----------
Chris.

The Lord’s Power is visible but the wicked people never see it. There are many things that the Lord’s People both see and experience but the wicked people just do not know about these things. When the Lord manifests His Power we do not have to expect that His Power only manifests through people God can do whatever He like with His Power.

He Leads Them Out!

‘He Leads Them Out.’
John 10:3.
a)    The Gatekeeper opens the gate for Christ. (The entire Godhead is involved in this)
b)    Christ speaks and the sheep respond to His Voice.
c)     Christ calls His sheep by name.
d)    Christ leads them out of the sheep pen.
(Through this QT I thank God that He Leads Me Out)
----------
‘The Result Of Righteousness.’

a)    Peace.
b)    Calm.
c)     Safety.
d)    Quiet confidence.
(This Second one shows me very clearly The Result Of Righteousness)
----------
Chris.

Christ leads us out! There are many ways in which the God-head ministers to us according to His Word. One of the most lovely of these ministries is the Lord as our Shepherd. Truly we were like sheep going astray but He has led us into Grace and Salvation and He continue to lead us as God’s Children.

Rahab Received God's Approval!

‘Rahab Received God’s Approval.’
James 2:25.
a)    Even though she was a prostitute.
b)    She welcomed the spies.
c)     She sent the spies away on another road.
d)    She received God’s Approval because of what she did.
(Amazing Grace! This QT shows me that Rahab Received God’s Approval and I desire that Approval also)
---------

(This Second one reveals what my life is like When The Lord My God Is With Me)
---------
Chris.
Truly, going through the Bible from start to finish should cause us to proclaim “Amazing Grace” many times! God does the most amazing loving actions to and for people who sometimes least deserve them. This is why we call the Gospel the Gospel of Grace.

' Christ Died for Our Sins Once For All.'

'Christ Died For Our Sins Once For All.' a) 1 Peter 3:18. For unrighteous people to make them righteous. b) 1 Peter 2:24. That...
