a) John 8:28; 12:49-50. God the Son speaks what God the Father taught Him.
b) John 14:10. God the Father lives in God the Son and does His Works through Him.
c) John 17:4; 5:19. God the Son brought Glory to God the Father here on Earth by doing everything God the Father told Him to do.
d) John 3:16; Romans 8:32. God the Father so loved the World that He gave His only Son.
e) Galatians 4:4; John 4:34. God the Father sent God the Son.
f) 1 Corinthians 15:27-28; John 17:2. God the Father has given God the Son authority over all things.
g) 1 Corinthians 3:23. God the Son belongs to God the Father.
h) 1 Corinthians 11:3. God the Son is responsible to God the Father.
i) John 5:22 & 30. God the Father leaves all Judgment to God the Son and He judges according to the Will of God the Father.
j) John 4:34. The nourishment of God the Son Comes from doing the Will of god the Father.
k) John 5:30. God the Son does nothing without consulting God the Father.
l) John 14:16. God the Son will ask God the Father, then God the Father will give us another Counselor.
m) Colossians 2:9. In God The Son the Fullness of God the Father lived in a human body.
n) John 5:23. Both should be Honored by us, they are equal in status.
o) John 17:5. God the Father shared the Glory with God the Son before the World began.

Ephesians 1:3-4.
a) He has Blessed us with every spiritual Blessing in the Heavenly realms because we belong to Christ.
b) Is our Creator - He made the World.
c) He Loved us.
d) He Chose us in Christ to be Holy and without fault in His Eyes.
(Through this Second one I understand more about God The Father And Myself, especially in my relationship with Him)

The Fullness of God lived bodily in Jesus Christ as He walked and lived upon this Earth. We are told in the Scripture that we need to carefully heed the Lifestyle and the Teachings of Jesus Christ. He Shows us how to live. His Teachings still are the means of us obtaining Faith. If we somehow put God the Son in a lesser place in our thinking or in our theological stance, to God the Father, we are doing a great injustice to God's Holy Word. We have a Triune God - God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

'Receiving God's Promises by Faith'

 

‘Receiving God’s Promises by Faith.’

Romans 4:16-24.

a)  Romans 4:16. We receive God’s Promises by having Faith, this condition is for every True Believer.

b)  Romans 4:17. We believe:-

1- God’s Word to us.

2- In God Who gives Life to the dead.

3- In God Who creates something out of nothing.

c)  Romans 4:18. We Believe God and continue hoping.

d)  Romans 4:19. Abraham had strong Faith, even on behalf of his wife.

e)  Romans 4:20. Four key ingredients of Faith:-

1- Never doubt that God will keep His Promise.

2- Never stop Believing.

3- Grow stronger in Faith.

4- Give Praise to God.

f) Romans 4:21. Confidence that God is able to do what He has Promised.

g) Romans 4:22. God accepted Abraham’s Faith and it made him right with God.

h) Romans 4:23-24. These words are not only written about Abraham but they are also for us. We are Justified by Faith, made right with God.

‘Appeal For Mercy.’

a)  Genesis 47:1. From Joseph, a sinned against brother, for his family who sinned against him.

b)  Genesis 46:33-34. The appeal was to Pharaoh, a foreign king, not to Joseph.

c)  Matthew 20:33. It is God Whose Hands our lives are in.

d)  Acts 2:36-38. Three things that help us in our appeal for Mercy:-

1- Repentance.

2- Baptism of water.

3- Fullness of Holy Spirit.

e)  Genesis 47:2. In order to receive Mercy we need to meet with the One we are seeking Mercy from.

f)  Acts 7:9. Jealousy has to be overcome before we can seek Mercy.

g)  Genesis 37:20. Bitterness and hatred has to be overcome before we can seek for Mercy.

    (Through this Second one I find the correct way to Appeal For Mercy)

Joseph suffered many things even though he was a good and righteous person. Sometimes we question God, actually that questioning can be anger also. We question why the righteous suffer. We need to go a step further than this and comfort and give encouragement to the suffering person or people as the Church community – the family of God. The comfort is far more important than the question.

a) John 6:32. True Bread from Heaven.

b) John 3:16. His Only Son.

c) John 4:10. Living Water.

e) Proverbs 2:6; James 1:5. Wisdom.

f) Genesis 27:28. An abundance of grain and new wine.

g) Leviticus 26:4; Zechariah 10:1. Rain at the right time.

h) 2 Chronicles 1:12; Ecclesiastes 2:26. Given to us are:-

i) Wisdom.

ii) Knowledge.

v) 2 Peter 1:3. Everything required for Life and Godliness.

'Selfishness.'

a) John 6:26. Makes us look for Jesus only to satisfy ourselves.

b) Romans 15:3; 2 Corinthians 8:9. Christ Gives us the Example of an unselfish lifestyle.

c) 2 Timothy 3:2. Is a sign of the last times.

d) Romans 15:1. Shows that we are still weak and immature as Believers.

e) 1 Corinthians 10:33. Makes us seek our own profit.

f) Philippians 2:21. Excludes Jesus Christ from our lives.

g) Isaiah 56:11. Means that we:-

i) Have greed.

ii) Have no discernment.

iii) Just live for our own gain.

h) Matthew 20:21. Seeks special favors - instead of receiving grace and blessing from God.

i) 2 Corinthians 5:15. Means that we are only living for ourselves.

j) 1 John 3:17. Shuts off compassion to those in need.

k) Philippians 2:4. Is instructed against in the Scriptures.

(This Meditation sharpens me to guard against Selfishness)

Selfishness is really something that we Believers need to learn to discard from our lives as quickly as possible. Distortions of Gospel Truth preached in multi cultural settings have encouraged selfishness in and amongst Christians and Churches and before the Return of Jesus Christ these distortions need to be washed out. The greatest deception is that Christ has come to meet our needs - this is simply just not true. The Truth is we need Christ, not our needs need Christ. Jesus Christ never came or comes to suit our selfishness, rather, selfishness is something we Believers need to learn to discard from our lives as quickly as possible.

a) 1 Corinthians 4:2. It is required of stwards that they are trustworthy.

b) 1 Corinthians 4:17. A beloved and trustworthy spiritual son. 

c) 1 Corinthians 7:15. Trustworthy Wisdom.

d) Numbers 12:7. Being Trustworthy of Leading an enitre family. 

e) Proverbs 13:17. A Trustworthy messenger brings healing. 

f) Matthew 25:21-23. A Trustworthy Servant. 

g) Luke 16:10-12. Trustworthy with money. 

h) Colossians 1.7; 4:7. Epaphras and Tychicus, Much Loved and Trustworthy Fellow servants and helpers.

a)     Matthew 12:41. Has a foundation of Repentance.

b)     John 8:39. Means living in Faith, like Abraham.

c)      Genesis 17:1. Means walking before the Lord faithfully and blamelessly.

d)     Romans 6:1-2. Means that we do not live in sin any more.

e)     Matthew 12:38-39. Means that we do not seek “signs” from the Lord.

f)      Matthew 12:40. Means Believing in the Death and Resurrection of Christ.

g)     Hebrews 12:22. Means that we have a Heavenly focus.

h)     Matthew 7:24; John 8:45 & 47. Means hearing the Lord’s sayings and doing them.

(This QT stimulates me to be Living In A Good Way)

‘Clear Love for the Church.’

a)     1 Thessalonians 2:17; 3:6. We have an intense longing for Fellowship.

b)     1 Thessalonians 2:19-20; Philippians 4:1; 2 Corinthians 1:14. Our Brothers and Sisters are our Glory and Joy.

c)      Acts 17:5-10. Means offering hospitality to God’s Servants, even at times of risk and persecution.

d)     2 Corinthians 12:9-10. Means that we totally trust in God’s Grace as we serve.

e)     1 Peter 5:8-9. Means that we stand against Satan on behalf of our Brothers and Sisters.

f)      Matthew 6:21. If we treasure our Church our heart will be there.

g)     Matthew 6:24. Means that we serve God and not money.

h)     1 John 2:15-17. Means that we do not love the lust and pride of the World system but we do the Will of God.

i)       2 Peter 3:10. Means that, together with the Church, we are ready for the Day of the Lord.

j)       Matthew 12:46-50. Means that we are living as a part of Christ’s Family, together with the Church.

k)     2 Thessalonians 1:11-12. Means that we live:-

1-    Worthy of God’s Calling.

2-    With the Lord bringing to fruition in our lives every desire for Goodness.

3-    With our deeds prompted by Faith.

4-    With the Name of the Lord Jesus being Glorified in us.

l)       2 John 1:4; 3 John 1:3-4. Means that we walk in the Truth as God Commands us.

m)   1 Thessalonians 3:7. Means that our Faith encourages other people in the Church.

n)     1 Thessalonians 3:9. Means that our Fellowship gives us Joy and that we can thank God for our Church.

(This Second one shows me what in means to have a Clear Love for The Church)

 If we are True Believers part of our life is lived out in Fellowship with   Christ’s Family, which is the Church. One of the Words used in the Epistles of the New Testament to define the Church is the Family of God. This means that our Church life should have meaning, not only for us, but also for the other people that we are in Fellowship with.

qq)         Ephesians 2:7. God shows His Kindness to us.

rr)   Ephesians 2:10. We are Created for Good Works.

ss)  Ephesians 2:13. We are brought near to God by His Blood.

tt)   Ephesians 5:20. We give thanks to God the Father for everything.

uu)        Philippians 1:8. We have affection for other Believers.

vv)         Philippians 1:11. We can be filled with the Fruit of Righteousness.

ww)       Philippians 1:26. We can have increasing Confidence.

xx)         Philippians 2:5. We have a good example.

yy)         Philippians 2:21. We are to seek His Interests.

zz)  Philippians 3:12. He has laid hold of us.

We are Sons of God through Faith in Christ Jesus, whether Jews, Americans, Koreans or from any other place there is only one way to become a Child of God. This is through Faith in Christ Jesus. He Himself said that no one can come to the Father God except through Him.
