‘Purposes Of A Miracle.

Acts 3:1-20.

b)      Acts 3:2. The handicapped beggar had been there for years. (Every miracle has its time from God, not from us.

c)      Acts 3:3. The beggar’s biggest known need to himself was money.

d)      Acts 3:4. Peter and John called the beggar to stop looking for money and look to them.

e)      Acts 3:5. His expectation was still for money.

f)       Acts 3:6. Peter spoke the Words of healing to the beggar and told him to get up. (It mean that the beggar could start a New Life)

g)      Acts 3:7. Peter took him and helped him to get up – then immediately the beggar’s limbs received strength. (Even if someone receives a Miracle, they usually still need our help for a while. Miracles can bring together the Body of Christ in compassion.)

Chris.

If we have the wrong expectations, then we shall not receive anything from the Lord. Expectations can be really warped by fallen culture and by life’s experiences. As True Believers we need to have expectations that are in line with God’s Word.
