of God.

Mark 14:72. Is to remember with.

1:72; 24:6; John 16:4. Is to retain the Word of God.

Luke 2:19; Acts 10:19. Is to ponder with.

Luke 12:29. Should not be doubtful.

Luke 17:32. Is to consider and learn from
Bible History.

John 15:18. Can help us overcome the pain of
persecution.

Acts 1:14; 4:24. Is to be united with other
people in Prayer.

‘Purposes Of A Miracle.
Acts 3:1-20.
a)
Acts
3:1. Miracle was not in mind, Prayer was in mind. (We do not look for miracles)
b)
Acts 3:2. The handicapped beggar had been
there for years. (Every miracle has its time from God, not from us.
c)
Acts 3:3. The beggar’s biggest known need to
himself was money.
d)
Acts 3:4. Peter and John called the beggar to
stop looking for money and look to them.
e)
Acts 3:5. His expectation was still for money.
f)
Acts 3:6. Peter spoke the Words of healing to
the beggar and told him to get up. (It mean that the beggar could start a New
Life)
g)
Acts 3:7. Peter took him and helped him to get
up – then immediately the beggar’s limbs received strength. (Even if someone
receives a Miracle, they usually still need our help for a while. Miracles can
bring together the Body of Christ in compassion.)
h)
Acts 3:8. The Miracle caused the beggar to
enter the Temple to Worship and Praise God.
i)
Acts 3:9-10. The Miracle caused the beggar to
be a living testimony for Christ.
j)
Acts 3:11-20. The Miracle made a clear way for
the Preaching of the Gospel.

If we have the wrong expectations, then we shall not receive
anything from the Lord. Expectations can be really warped by fallen culture and
by life’s experiences. As True Believers we need to have expectations that are
in line with God’s Word.
