Every True Believer has the Hope of seeing the Glorified Christ! This is a Bible based and secure Hope! Christ will surely come again with His Holy Angels. He will take His place eternally on His Throne!

Cooks are important and necessary people. Whoever the cooks are cooking for, they should cook well at a high standard. Cooks need to be trained well and continue with learning cooking skills all of their active life. It is not easy to be a cook, this means that we should be praying for our cooks! Cooks need to cook in every kind of environment.

A Victorious Ascension!

Speaking the truth in Love and Growing spiritually go hand-in-hand! It is necessary for every True Believer to Speak the truth in Love. This may sound very basic but the truth is that some Believers find it extremely difficult to be completely honest. This may be for a variety of reasons but, actually telling lies and half truths is a sin. We need to both live and speak the truth.

If Possible!

Acts 8:22.

a)  Repent therefore of this wickedness of yours,

b)  And pray to the Lord that,

c)  If possible,

d)  The intent of your heart may be forgived you.

I am sure that presumptious prayer is offensive to God. Some of the "teachings" that I have heard about prayer make me cringe inside. We need to clearly follow the Teachings of the Lord Jesus and the Bible about prayer, these Teachings are laid out in God's Word for us! It is always good to be quiet before we pray so that we can prepare our hearts.

The Blood Must Be Shed!

Leviticus 3:8.

b)  And have it killed there.

c)  A priest will then splatter its blood

d)  Against the four sides of the altar.

We should always esteem the Blood of Christ Jesus that has been shed for us! It is always efficacious! There is no Salvation without the shed Blood of Christ Jesus. This is something that we need to simply Believe. This believing is an act of simple Faith! When we Believe - we can be saved!

Through this Second one I understand that The Lord God Lives There! This is a most important understanding to that helps me to comprehend God's Eternal Promise and Presence. If we neglect the reading of God's Word we miss receiving the Promises of God. True Believers are a people of the Word of God!

It is our own responsibility to keep our heart in good condition before God. Nobody else can do this for us! God has give to us many things to help us keep our hearts in good condition. It is our responsibility to take hold of these things and use them.

The Lord Jesus Christ now fills all things. He is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent! This is our Lord and Saviour. We need to Believe the present Truth about Christ. If we do not believe this present Truth it will be so difficult for us to mature as Believers! The Gospel is not primarily about us, it is about Him Who fills all things.

 

God Is Above All!

God is Above all!! We need to actively and prayerfully Believe it! One of the most important facts of the Gospel that God is Above all! We also need to proclaim it. Our Faith in the Word of God is something that needs to be clear and consistent. Our proclamations about God and His Word are both significant and meaningful.

The Bible is very clear! If we read it in simple Faith, we can find the True meanings! We need to Believe that Christ Descended and then Ascended. This Truth is very necessary as a part of the foundation of Christian Faith!

It is clearly an important priority for our Churches to have oneness. Pray for it; live it out; make it a priority! Let us treasure oneness in our Churches.

We need to reject Lust For Power. If people are living with Lust For Power they will surely hurt and even destroy other people! It IS possible for people to live without Lust For Power. We need to live with a desire to Bless other people and repent of any jealous attitudes. It is good for us to go on living without A Lust For Power.

It is good for us to continually proclaim that God is so good. We need to do this genuinely and frequently. Trust God and do not be afraid!

There is a "uniting Faith" here!  We can investigate this simple Truth in our personal Bible Studies. One Lord is surely our Lord Jesus Christ. One Faith is our united Faith in Him. One Baptism is the Baptism in water that is enjoined upon every True Believer. The pathway of Simple Faith should be taught in all of our Churches.

We must not be greedy like Simon! Greed will put our lives into an unholy mess. We must avoid greed. We can pray and repent of greed if we are Biblical Believers. When the Church allows greed to be a part of its life, that Church will surely fail. We should pray for a life free from greed, looking to the Lord Jesus Christ as our example.

We should always take heed to The Word Of God and the many Messages it contains! Here we are called to prepare a way for the Lord. We can ask Him, in every case, how we are to do that. If we find ourselves in a wilderness, we should ask the Lord what we should do!

Pray for Understanding! It is a wellspring of life. If we have Understanding it can bring many benefits to our lives. It is possible for every True Believer to have Understanding. It is very wonderful to have Understanding accompanied with the Fear of the Lord. If we have Understanding we can live in Peace with the Fear of the Lord.

Being able to impart the Holy Spirit to others is a very lovely and special gift! This is impartation, not manipulation! Pray for the people that you know who can impart the Holy Spirit to others through the Ministry of Laying on of Hands.

Self examination is a necessary part of real Christian living. Before we do anything else we need to examine ourselves. This is especially important in relationship to taking Holy Communion. After self examination we are encouraged to partake of the bread and the cup. May the Lord help all those people who are struggling during this National time of pain in the UK.

Praying soberly and correctly should be the first priority and foundation for our prayers. Some people go off on a charismatic tangent and become cult-like and "spooky" in their prayers. We should not do this. Our prayers should come from, and bring us back to, the Heart of Father God. Being filled with the Holy Spirit should bring us humbly to our Father God.

c)  In the Name of the Lord Jesus.

Reading the Book of Genesis really gives us a good foundation for understanding Bible history. To read through the Scriptures from beginning to end as initial Bible Reading self discipline is a really good habit. Once we have read through we can surely develop our own Bible Reading habits and practices. We learn to appreciate the Sovereignty of God!

We should ensure that our Gifts and Offerings are acceptable to the Lord. Biblical giving is something that really pleases Him. God does not need to be "tipped", He desires offerings that come from our hearts! We should consider this everytime when we are called to give an offering!

Here is another Prayer that I am sure is pleasing to the Lord: Prayer for vital transformation in our life. The Scripture tells us that it is impossible for us to change ourselves BUT the Lord can change us. If we are aware of the fact that change, or changes, are necessary, we need to come to Him in humble Prayer. Surely He answers that kind of Prayer.

'A Meaningful Testimony.'

Acts 20:21.

c)  And of Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

We need to esteem and pray for the ministries in our local Churches. Never should we belittle the ministries of other Believers. If all ministries had these concepts I am sure that the life inside the Church would be both happy and free. We should be Praying for the Ministries of the local Church.

Peace And Purity!

'Peace And Purity.'

Leviticus 3:1. 

a)  If his offering

b)  Is a sacrifice of Peace Offering,

c)  If he offers an animal from the herd,

d)  Male or female,

e)  He shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.

(This QT reminds me that Peace And Purity go together)

PRAY:  That our offerings shall be without blemish before the Lord.

'A Holy Judgment.'

Amos 4:2. 

a)  The Lord God has sworn by His Holiness

b)  That, behold, the days are coming upon you

c)  When they shall take you away with hooks

d)  Even the last of you with fish hooks.

(This Second one reveals to me A Holy Judgment)

PRAY: That by God's Grace we can avoid this Holy Judgment.

It is good to have a correct and Biblical concept about our offerings to the Lord. We should never offer carelessly or thoughtlessly to Him. "Without blemish" in every way is a good standard to have. Offerings are a part of Worship, that should always be our concept. "Without blemish" is more important than "how much"!

In View Of God's Mercy

Romans 12:1. 

a)  Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters,

b)  In view of God's Mercy,

c)  To offer your bodies a living sacrifice,

d)  Holy and pleasing to God -

e)  This is your true and proper Worship.

(This QT teaches me what to do In View Of God's Mercy)

PRAY: To respond to God's Mercy well.

'Agree Together.'

1 Corinthians 1:10.

a)  I appeal to you, brothers,

b)  In the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

c)  That all of you agree together,

d)  So that there be no divisions among you

e)  And that you be united in mind and conviction.

(Through this Second one I know that it is important to Agree Together)

PRAY: To Agree Together with other Believers in our Churches.

It is good and Biblical to agree together with other Believers in our Church, Ministry or Mission. This is not something that automatically happens but it is something that we deliberately need to work towards! Agreeing together is not only the correct thing to do but it is also a peaceful, happy experience for those people who do it. 

Caring Apostles!

'Caring Apostles.'

Acts 8:14. 

a)  When the Apostles who were still in Jerusalem 

b)  Heard that the people in Samaria

c)  Had accepted the Word of God,

d)  They sent Peter and John to them.

PRAY: For Church Leaders to be people who care for God's Flock.

(This Second one reminds me that Church Speakers Should Speak Well)

PRAY: For those who speak God's Message in our Churches to speak well.

We should definitely be continually praying for our Church Leaders. Their first duty as Leaders is surely to be caring well for God's Flock. There are so many different aspects of 'care' and all of them are meaningful and important. Praying for these Leaders to Teach and Preach well is very necessary!

Things Consecrated!

a)  Exodus 29:29; Leviticus 21:10. Priests wearing holy garments.

b)  Numbers 3:3. The sons of Aaron the priest.

c)  Joshua 6:19. The vessels in the Treasury of the Lord. 

d)  2 Chronicles 31:6. The tithes of the Children of Israel and Judah. 

e)  Ezra 3:5. The set feasts of the Lord.

f)  Hebrews 7:28. The Son of God. 

g)  Hebrews 10:20. A new and living way. 

(This QT shows me some of the Things Consecrated)

PRAY: To fulfill our calling in God.

The Lord gives food for the hungry. I cannot understand people, especially Believers, who criticize the Ministry of feeding the hungry. This is a Scriptural Ministry! The Churches and Ministries that are called to feed the hungry need our Prayers and support (Actually all Churches could and should be involved in some way!) It is impossible to tell in the present tense what effect this Ministry has, but surely Eternity will prove it!

To Him Be Glory Forever!

What a privilege for the young minister Timothy to be taught and discipled by the Apostle Paul. This is not only an historical fact but it is also a lesson for us to learn in the modern day Church! Worship, Praise, Prayer and Bible Study are basic exercises to be learned today. The Churches that stick to Bible ways and keep free from "gimmicks" will be Blessed and Successful Churches.

Words are not meaningless! There are all kinds of words that are spoken - some of them good and others not. We are enjoined in the Scriptures to speak words that are helpful and meaningful. This is actually difficult for cynical people, they speak words that criticise unnecessarily and "pull" other people down.
