Who Are The Children Of God?

'Who Are The Children Of God?'

Romans 9:8.

a)  This means that it is not the Children of flesh who are the Children of God,

b)  But the Children of Promise

c)  are counted as offspring.

(Through this QT I find the answer to my question: Who Are The Children Of God?)

PRAY: For the Children Of Promise to be clearly manifest.

-------------------

'Different Backgrounds.'

Galatians 4:23.

a)  But the son of the slave

b)  Was born according to the flesh,

c)  While the son of the free woman

d)  Was born through Promise.

(This Second one reminds me that different people come from Different Backgrounds)

PRAY:  For all people in your Church, even though they may come from Different Backgrounds.

-------------------

Chris.

We should never reject people because of their background! God gives abundant Grace to all of his Children! Sometimes we "look down" on people because of their family and educational background, we should never do that! God loves all people, whether they are born slaves or free. We should always remember this in our dealings with people. Amazingly, most people, whatever background they may come from, enjoy a delicious burger!

They Could Not Be Openly Honest!

'They Could Not Be Openly Honest.'

John 1:38.

a)  And Jesus turned and saw them following,

b)  And said to them;

c)  "What are you seeking?"

d)  They said to Him;

e)  "Rabbi (which translated means Teacher),

f)  "Where are you staying ?"

(This QT reveals to me that They Could Not Be Openly Honest)

PRAY: To be an Openly Honest Person.

------------------

'The Works That Testify Of Jesus Christ.'

John 10:25.

a)  Jesus answered them,

b)  "I told you, and you do not believe;

c)  "The works that I do in My Father's name,

d)  "These testify of Me."

(Through this Second one I esteem The Works That Testify Of Jesus Christ)

PRAY; To Believe in Jesus and His Works.

------------------

Chris.

Jesus always answered people thoughtfully and clearly. This is a very good example for us. Meaningless or vague religious answers never really help anyone. If we do not know the answer we should not pretend that we do, just simply say "I do not know!" It really helps us to live glorifying to God lives if we answer thoughtfully and clearly.

Not Always Joy For Disciples!

'Not Always Joy For Disciples.'

John 16:6.

a)  "...Because I have said these things to you,

b)  "Sorrow

c)  "Has filled your heart."

(This QT reminds me that there is Not Always Joy For Disciples)

PRAY: Rejecting sorrow from your heart.

-----------------

'I Will See You Again.'

John 16:22.

a)  You have sorrow now,

b)  But I will see you again,

c)  And your hearts will rejoice,

d)  And no-one will take your joy from you.

(Through this Second one I believe the Words of Jesus: "I Will See You Again")

PRAY: Believing the words of Jesus Christ.

-----------------

Chris.

Sorrow is a God-given emotion. There are times when we need to sorrow. The opposite of sorrow is joy! Thank God for both sorrow and joy. It is folly to try to make a sorrowing person have joy, the sorrowing person needs comfort first, joy may follow. The part of the Church in this process is to give comfort and acceptance.

Not Abraham But Isaac!

'Not Abraham But Isaac.'

Romans 9:7.

a)  And not all are children of Abraham

b)  Because they are his offspring,

c)  But

d)  Through Isaac

e)  Shall your offspring be named.

(This QT reminds me that it is Not Abraham But Isaac)

PRAY: For the offspring of your family to be Blessed.

----------------

'Children Of Promise.'

Galatians 4:28.

a)  Now you, brothers,

b)  Like Isaac,

c)  Are Children of Promise.

(Through this Second one I rejoice in being one of the Children Of Promise)

PRAY:  To understand what it means to be one of the Children Of Promise.

----------------

Chris.

Read through the Book of Galatians and be Blessed. I am just passing on my own current experience. There should always be some kind of positive response when we read the Word of God. Not a manufactured response, but one that flows from our heart.

The Effective Evangelism Of John Baptist!

'The Effective Evangelism Of John Baptist.

John 1:36-37.

a)  And looking at Jesus as He walked,

b)  He said: "Look! The Lamb of God!"

c)  The two disciples heard what he said,

d)  And they followed Jesus.

(This QT teaches me more about The Effective Evangelism Of John Baptist)

PRAY: For Effective Evangelism Ministries To Be In Our Churches.

---------------

'A Fruitful Raid.'

Genesis 14:11.

a)  Then they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah,

b)  And all their provisions,

c)  And went their way.

(This Second one reveals to me A Fruitful Raid)

PRAY: To be Fruitful for God's Glory in all that we do.

---------------

Chris.

There may be times in our lives and ministries when the Lord calls us to do seemingly unusual things in order for us to be fruitful! I am sure that simple passivity is not a "godly fruit"! When God is calling us to do something that we are not used to doing, or is not "natural" for us, we need to take the necessary steps of Faith.

Nobody Asked The Lord!

'Nobody Asked The Lord.'

John 16:5.

a)  But now I am going to the One Who sent Me,

b)  And not one of you is asking Me:

c)  "Where are You going?"

(This QT amazes me: Nobody Asked The Lord)

PRAY: For Faith to ask the Lord when we need to.

--------------

'They Hate The Light.'

John 3:20.

a)  For everyone who does wicked things

b)  Hates the Light

c)  And does not come to the Light,

d)  Lest his works should be exposed.

(Through this Second one I know that They Hate The Light)

PRAY: For those people who hate the Light to repent and to come to the Light.

--------------

Chris.

People who do wicked things hate the Light. They will never come to the Light until they repent of doing wicked things! It is impossible to continue doing wicked things or sinful things and to love the Light! When we come to the Light all darkness is exposed and we can repent of it and walk free from it.

God's Word Has Not Failed!

'God's Word Has Not Failed.'

Romans 9:6.

a)  But it is not as though the Word of God has failed.

b)  For not all who are descended from Israel

c)  Belong to Israel.

(This QT reminds me that God's Word Has Not Failed)

PRAY: To love God's Word more and more.

-------------

'Do Not Be Carried Away.'

2 Peter 3:17.

a)  You therefore,

b)  Beloved,

c)  Knowing this beforehand,

d)  Take care that you are not carried away

e)  With the error of lawless people

f)  And lose your own stability.

(Through this Second one I heed the Words: Do Not Be Carried Away)

PRAY: Not to be carried away.

--------------

Chris.

The word that Peter uses in addressing the Believers is... Beloved. How lovely it would be if this word were more commonly used in the Churches today. This is a true description of those people who love our Lord Jesus Christ! When we receive this naming in the Churches it really brings a greater sense of security.

John Baptist Was Looking At Jesus!

'John Baptist Was Looking At Jesus.'

John 1:36.

a)  And looking at Jesus

b)  As He walked by,

c)  John said;

d)  "Behold the Lamb of God."

(This QT shows me that John Baptist Was Looking At Jesus)

PRAY: To consider Jesus well.

------------

'No Coincidences.'

John 1:43.

a)  The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee.

b)  He found Philip

c)  And said to him:

d)  "Follow Me."

(Through this Second one I am reminded that there are No Coincidences in God's Word)

PRAY: To follow Jesus well.

------------

Chris.

I remember that, as a new Believer, I was encouraged to read John's Gospel. I soon understood why! The writings of John are easy to understand and clearly explain the simple and wonderful Gospel Truths! I encourage every Believer, whether new or not, to read John's Gospel.

The Lord Wants Us To Remember!

'The Lord Wants Us To Remember.'

John 16:4.

a)  But I have said these things to you,

b)  That when their hour comes

c)  You may remember

d)  That I told them to you.

(This QT teaches me there are things that The Lord Wants Us To Remember)

PRAY: To remember the things that the Lord wants us to remember.

-----------

'Active Before The Lord.'

James 2:22.

a)  You see that Faith was active

b)  Along with his works,

c)  And Faith was completed

d)  By his works;

(This Second one encourage me to have Active Faith)

PRAY: To have Active Faith.

-----------

Chris.

Works and Faith or Faith and Works always go hand in hand. Together Faith and Works make a complete picture. they are perfect partners. We can read this Truth right throughout God's Word. Both of these things need to be well taught in a balanced way in the Churches. Simply teaching what the Bible says and means is really going to build up the Churches well.

The Lineage Of Christ!

'The Lineage Of Christ.'

Romans 9:5.

a)  To them belong the patriarchs,

b)  And from their race,

c)  According to the flesh,

d)  Is the Christ,

e)  Who is God over all,

f)  Blessed for ever.

g)  Amen.

(This QT teaches me about The Lineage Of Christ)

PRAY: To know Christ as personal Saviour and God.

----------

'Three Things That We Need To Do.'

2 Timothy 4:7.

a)  I have fought the good fight.

b)  I have finished the race.

c)  I have kept the faith.

(This Second one teaches me Three Things That I Need To Do)

PRAY: To understand well the Things That We Need To Do.

----------

Chris.

Reading through the Book of 2 Timothy is beneficial for anyone who desires to serve the Lord. Having Church and Theological training is very excellent! It is also excellent to continue to read the Bible for ourselves. There is a "good fight" to win and we need to be well equipped to win it! One of the foremost pieces of equipment to help us win the battle is the Word of God.

Disciples Together!

'Disciples Together.'

John 1:35.

a)  Again,

b)  The next day,

c)  Jesus stood with two of His Disciples.

(This QT reminds me that Jesus Christ, whilst physically on this Earth, spent much time with His Disciples Together)

PRAY: To be in good fellowship with Jesus and His Disciples Together.

---------

'A Question From The Stillness.'

Matthew 20:32.

a)  So Jesus stood still

b)  And called them,

c)  And said,

d)  "What do you want Me to do for you?"

(This second one reveals to me A Question From The Stillness)

PRAY:  Asking Jesus Questions from the Stillness.

---------

Chris.

Jesus stood still! Not only here, but on other occasions also, we read that Jesus stood still. People who are always "on the go", or exceptionally busy, often miss the Will of God in some way. Being still is not something that is popular today, but it is very necessary! Taking the necessary time to be still will definitely enrich our lives.

They Do It Because They Do Not Know God!

They Do It Because They Do Not Know God!'
John 16:3.
a)  And these things
b)  They will do to you
c)  Because they have not known the Father
d)  Or Me.
(This QT reminds me that They Do It Because They Do Not Know God)
PRAY: That many more people will come to know God.
--------
'The Power Of Holy Persuasion.'
Acts 17:4.
a)  And some of them were persuaded;
b)  And a great multitude of the devout Greeks,
c)  And not a few of the leading women,
d)  Joined Paul and Silas.
(Through this Second one I find The Power Of Holy Persuasion)
PRAY: To respond well to The Power Of Holy Persuasion.
--------
Chris.
The reality of persecution was something that Christ taught his Disciples and this reality is still something faced by True Believers today! It can turn up in any environment but is especially painful when in the domestic realm! Sometimes, for the persecuted Believer, the only comfort is the Lord Himself, by His Spirit and through His Word. We should not forget to pray for persecuted Believers.

These Belong To The Israelites!

'These Belong To The Israelites.'

Romans 9:4.

a)  The adoption.

b)  The Glory.

c)  The Covenants.

d)  The giving of the Law.

e)  The service of God.

f)  And the Promises.

(This QT reminds me that These Belong To The Israelites)

PRAY: Through the Book of Romans.

-------

'Always Acknowledge The First Born,'

Exodus 4:22.

a)  Then you shall say to Pharaoh,

b)  Thus says the Lord,

c)  "Israel is My Firstborn son,

(Through this Second one I understand fully that it is correct to Always Acknowledge The First Born)

PRAY: Acknowledging the First Born in your family.

-------

Chris.

Exodus is not just a "law book", it reveals the heart of God in many matters. Here are family matters - the acknowledging of the first - born. This is not for Bible days, it is still relevant for today. If the family matters are in good order then God's Blessing can flow into the family! If our families are dysfunctional in some way, with God's help we can put them right so that they can function as Godly and Biblical families.

Clearly The Son Of God!

 'Clearly The Son Of God.'

John 1:34.

a)  And I have seen

b)  And have borne witness

c)  That this is the Son of God.

(This QT reminds me to revere The Son Of God)

PRAY: To revere The Son of God.

-----

'Even Jesus Said It.'

John 4:44.

a)  For Jesus Himself had testified

b)  That a prophet has no honour

c)  In his own hometown.

(Through this Second one I realise that Even Jesus Said It)

PRAY: To clearly understand the Words of Jesus.

-----

Chris.

We really need to pay good attention to the Words of Jesus Christ. If we follow His Words and allow them to govern our lives, we will find a deeper realisation of what it truly means to be a True Believer. This is something that we can only do individually.

A Time That Is Surely Coming!

 'A Time That Is Coming.'

John 16:2.

a)  They will put you out of the synagogues and make you outcasts.

b)  And a time is coming when whoever kills you

c)  Will think that he is offering service to God.

(This QT reminds me about A Time That Is Coming)

PRAY: To be prepared in all ways for everything that you may need to face.

----

'A Very Lovely Experience.'

Luke 24:52-53.

a)  They Worshipped the Lord

b)  And returned to Jerusalem with great joy,

c)  And were continually in the Temple - Blessing God.

(This Second One reveals to me A Very Lovely Experience)

PRAY: To be a real worshipper of the Lord.

----

Chris.

Again, in these QT notes I want to emphasize the importance of a good personal spiritual life. Worship was very much a part of the life of the early Disciples and it also became an important part of the early Church. All true Believers should also be both personal and corporate (where possible) worshippers.

Real Brotherly Love In Paul's Thinking!

'Real Brotherly Love In Paul's Thinking.'

Romans 9:3.

a)  For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ

b)  For my brethren,

c)  My countrymen according to the flesh,

(This QT reveals to me Real Brotherly Love In Paul's Thinking)

PRAY:  To have Real Brotherly Love For Our People - families and friends.

---

'Our Brethren.'

a)  Exodus 2:11. Sometimes need protection.

e)  2 Chronicles 35:15. Should prepare things for their fellow ministers.

f)  Nehemiah 11:19. Keep watch at the gates.

g)  Acts 13:15. May have a Word of Exhortation for the people.

r)  2 Corinthians 1:8. Need to be aware of the afflictions of others.

s)  2 Corinthians 13:11. Need to live the Christian life.

t)  Galatians 5:13. Are called to freedom.

u)  1 Thessalonians 5:12. Should appreciate their leaders.

v)  1 Thessalonians 5:14. Need to help the needy people in the Church.

w)  1 Thessalonians 5:25; 2 Thessalonians 3:1. Need to be people of Prayer.

(This Second one calls me to pray for our Brethren)

PRAY: For Our Brethren.

---

Chris.

If we claim that we are True Believer Christians then we need to live the Christian Life! The most effective way in which we can live the Christian Life is by following the Word of God and being filled with the Holy Spirit. May God help us all to respond well to the Teachings of God's Word and live the Christian Life.

He Is The One!

 ‘He Is The One.’

John 1:33.

a)  And I myself did not know Him,

b)  But the One Who sent me to baptise with water told me:

c)  “The Man on Whom you see the Spirit come down and remain

d)  “Is the One Who will baptise with the Holy Spirit.”

(This QT reminds me that He Is The One.)

PRAY: To the Lord to baptise you with the Holy Spirit.

d)  1 Samuel 16:14. Can sometimes depart from people.

e)  1 Samuel 19:20. Can come upon people.

f)  2 Samuel 23:2. Can speak through people.

g)  1 Chronicles 12:18. Creates loyalty.

h)  1 Chronicles 28:12. Puts plans in people’s minds.

I)  Nehemiah 9:20. Gives instructions.

j)  Nehemiah 9:30. Warns people through prophets.

k)  Isaiah 11:2. Has many attributes.

l)  Isaiah 32:15. Can be poured upon us.

m)  Isaiah 63:10. Can be grieved.

(This Second one gives me the desire to be filled with Holy Spirit)

PRAY: To keep filled with the Holy Spirit.

————————

Chris.

We should become increasingly sensitive to the Holy Spirit. This sensitivity can come to us through our good personal relationship with God. I believe there is no other way than this! The relationship with God gives us an increased desire for Him! As we express this desire to Him, He responds by giving us His Holy Spirit.

Words Of Great Purpose!

'Words Of Great Purpose.'

John 16:1.

a)  "I have said

b)  "All this to you

c)  "To keep you from falling away.'

(This QT teaches me Words Of Great Purpose)

PRAY: To speak meaningful words day-by-day.

---------------

'Do Not Be Afraid Or Discouraged.'

Deuteronomy 31:8.

a)  The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you;

b)  He will never leave you nor forsake you.

c)  Do not be afraid;

d)  Do not be discouraged.

(This Second one charges me: Do Not Be Afraid Or Discouraged)

PRAY: Not to be afraid or discouraged.

---------------

Chris.

This was and still is a very assuring Promise of God. 'The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you.' God delights in being in fellowship with His People. He has no desire to leave us or forsake us! This Promise surely calls us to walk in closer fellowship with Him. there is no need for us to be afraid or discouraged.

Apostle Paul Also Carried It!

'Apostle Paul Also Carried It.'
Romans 9:2.
a)  That I have great sorrow
b)  And continual grief
c)  In my heart.
(This QT reveals to me that Apostle Paul Also Carried It)
PRAY: To be comforted by God when we need His Comfort.
------------
'Two Sorrows.'
2 Corinthians 7:10.
a)  Godly sorrow produces repentance
b)  Leading to Salvation,
c)  Not to be regretted;
d)  But the sorrow of the World
e)  Produces death.
(Through this Second one I understand that there are Two Sorrows)
PRAY: For any people that we may know who are living with the sorrow of the World.
------------
Chris.
There are many things that we carry "in our heart", some of these things are like precious treasures and we value them and want to keep them! Continual grief and sorrow is surely a heavy pain and burden that God does not want us to carry! Yes, there are time that we feel grief and sorrow but God wants us to bring those things to Him in Prayer and to leave them with Him!

John Saw The Holy Spirit!

 'John Saw The Holy Spirit.'

John 1:32.

a)  And John testified, saying:

b)  "I have seen the Spirit

c)  "descending as a dove out of Heaven,

d)  "and He remained upon Him."

(Through this QT I understand that John Saw The Holy Spirit)

PRAY: To be filled with Holy Spirit.

-----------

'Standing In The Plain.'

Luke 6:17.

a)  And He came down with them,

b)  And stood in the plain,

c)  And the company of His Disciples,

d)  And a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem,

e)  And from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon,

f)  Which came to hear Him,

g)  And be healed of their diseases.

(Through this Second one I desire to be continually sensitive to the Holy Spirit ... Standing In The Plain)

PRAY: To take time with the Lord, wherever we are!

-----------

Chris.

If our Churches present the Gospel and the Healing Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ in a Biblical and culturally acceptable manner, I am sure that many more people will come to attend Church services! Sometimes we are too "traditional" in a religious sense and then we do not make the presentation of the Gospel relevant to today's society. Although Christ intends the Gospel to touch everybody's life, wrong presentation makes it touch nobody's life!

A True Witness Knows The Lord!

'A True Witness Knows The Lord.'

'An Affirmation From Heaven.'

Matthew 3:17.

a)  And a voice from Heaven said,

b)  "This is My Son,

c)  "Whom I love;

d)  "With Him I am well pleased."

(This Second one reveals An Affirmation From Heaven)

PRAY: For An Affirmation From Heaven when we need it.

----------

Chris.

When we read the Scriptures we can find many times that the Lord manifests Himself as a voice from Heaven. This still sometimes happens today but not nearly so many times as recorded in Bible Days! The reason for this is now we have the written Word of God. Every Believer that can read should read and digest the Word of God!

The Way To Speak And Write!

'The Way To Speak And Write.'

Romans 9:1.

a)  I speak the Truth in Christ -

b)  I am not lying;

c)  My conscience is testifying to me

d)  With the Holy Spirit.

(This QT  reminds me of The Way To Speak And Write)

PRAY: To speak and write honestly and well.

---------

'The Assembly Heard.'

Nehemiah 8:2.

a)  So on the first day of the seventh month

b)  Ezra the Priest

c)  Brought the Law before the Assembly,

d)  Which was made up of men and women

e)  And all who were able to understand.

(Through this Second one I know that The Assembly Heard)

PRAY: For our Churches to hear the Word of God well.

---------

Chris.

We should be praying for those who minister the Word of God in our local Churches. They have an awesome responsibility to serve this Word so that the people can understand! When the people understand the Word of God, then they have a responsibility to respond to it. The ministry of the Word of God is such an important part of local Church life.

A Great Reason!

'A Great Reason.'

John 1;31.

a)  I myself did not know Him,

--------

'Prepare The Way.'

Isaiah 40:3.

a)  A voice of one crying out:

b)  "Prepare the way of the Lord

c)  "In the wilderness;

d)  "Make a straight highway

e)  "For our God

f)  "In the desert."

(Through this Second one I know it is necessary always to Prepare The Way)

PRAY; To read the Bible well.

--------

Chris.

Sometimes the Lord leads us, or allows us to go, into the wilderness. We cannot always understand why, but the main point of the wilderness time is to keep trusting the Lord, in His perfect time He will surely lead us out.

a)  I will send you the Spirit

b)  Who comes from the Father

c)  And shows what is true.

d)  The Spirit will help you

e)  And will tell you about Me.

(By this Second one I know the importance of Telling)

PRAY: To tell what and when we need to.

-------

Chris.

Deception should never come into the relationship between employers and employees. Biblical principles about this relationship are very clear. The problems come in when these principles are not adhered to. Progress will be made when the employer/employee relationships are good.

Nothing Can Separate Us From God's Love!

'Nothing Can Separate Us from God's Love.'

Romans 8:38-39.

a)  For I am sure that neither:

1-Death.

2-Life.

3-Angels.

4-Rulers.

5-Things present.

6-Things to come.

7-Powers.

8-Height.

9-Depth.

10-Anything else in all Creation;

b)  Will be able to separate us

c)  From the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

(This QT reminds me that Nothing Can Separate Us From God's Love)

PRAY: For God's Love to rule in our hearts.

--------

'Be Careful What We Say.'

Exodus 23:13.

a)  Pay attention to all that I have said to you,

b)  And make no mention of the names of other gods,

c)  Nor let it be heard on your lips.

(Through this Second one I am called to pay attention)

PRAY: For good self-control over our speech.

--------

Chris.

It is always helpful for us to include the Old Testament in our regular Bible Readings. God's instructions to His People there are not just for them at that time, they have great relevance for us today. We really need to pay attention to the Word of God in its entirety! It is a good key phrase for today: Pay Attention To The Word Of God!

Christ The Preferred One!

'Christ - The Preferred One.'

John 1:30.

a)  This is He of Whom I said:

b)  "After me comes a Man Who is preferred before me,

c)  "For He was before me."

(This Qt reveals Christ - The Preferred one)

PRAY: To know Christ - the preferred One.

-------

‘It Was Time To Look Up.’

Acts 3:4-5.

a)  And fixing his eyes on him, with John,

b)  Peter said,

c)  “Look at us.”

(This Second one reminds me that there is always a Time To Look Up!)

PRAY: To know when It Is Time To Look Up.

———-

Chris.

It is good for us, when studying Bible characters, not only to look at their actions, but also to read their words! There are so many depths and types of Bible study that the True Believer should never get bored of  Bible reading and studying. To know more of and have more understanding of, the Bible is profitable for all of us.

Jesus Christ Was Hated For No Reason!

'Jesus Christ Was Hated For No Reason.'

John 15:25.

a)  But this is to fulfill

b)  What is written in their Law:

c)  "They hated Me without reason."

(This QT reminds me that Jesus Christ Was Hated For No Reason)

PRAY: For any people who may be against you in any way.

------

'Incredible Accuracy.'

John 19:36.

a)  For these things were done,

b)  That the Scripture should be fulfilled:

c)  "A bone of Him shall not be broken.

(Through this Second one I realize the Incredible Accuracy of God's Word)

PRAY: To trust implicitly the Incredible Accuracy of God's Word.

------

Chris.

Many times I have done this: Recommended the Reading and Praying through of the Scripture. I cannot overemphasize the important of these Scripture-based habits! God's Word is always accurate and it is to be treated and read as such. It quickly becomes obvious then, who reads and values the Scripture and who does not.

More Than Conquerors!

'More Than Conquerors.'

Romans 8:37.

a)  No,

b)  In all these things,

c)  We are more than conquerors through Him

d)  Who loved us.

(This QT reminds me that through Christ we are More Than Conquerors)

PRAY:  To live as a Conqueror through Christ.

-----

'Get Rid Of Them.'

Galatians 5:19.

a)  The works of the flesh

b)  are obvious.

c)  We are called to get rid of them.

(This Second one calls me to Get Rid Of Them)

PRAY: Rejecting the works of the flesh.

-----

Chris.

Reading through the Book of Galatians can give a a clear understanding of what God wants and what He does not want. This is not legalism, it is a good description of the Life of Faith that God intends for us. We are clearly called to get rid of the works of the flesh.

The Lamb Of God!

'The Lamb Of God.'

John 1:29.

a)  The next day

b)  John saw Jesus coming toward him and said:

c)  "Look,

d)  "The Lamb of God,

e)  "Who takes away the sin of the World."

(This QT turns my heart and thoughts to The Lamb Of God)

PRAY: To truly know the Lamb of God taking away our sins.

----

'How Do We Know That We Are In God?'

1 John 2:5.

a)  But if anyone obeys His Word,

b)  Love for God is truly made complete in them.

c)  This is how we know we are in Him:

(This Second one answers the question: How Do We Know That We Are In God?)

PRAY: To know that you  are in God.

----

Chris.

Obeying the Word of God should be a normal part of the True Believer's life! When we obey the Word of God then love for God is truly made complete in us. There is much emphasis on other things rather than on obeying the Word of God and this is a mistake. Obedience to the Word of God should be a priority for us.

The Christian Life!

'The Christian Life.' a)  Deuteronomy 7:11. Keep the Word of  God. b)  Deuteronomy  7:12. Listen to the Word of God. c)  Deuteronomy...
