Do Not Be Carried Away!

 'Do Not Be Carried Away.'

Hebrews 13:9.

a)  Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings.

b)  It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by Grace,

c)  Not by eating ceremonial foods

d)  Which is of no benefit to those who do so.

(This QT strongly reminds me... Do Not Be Carried Away)

PRAY: Not to be carried away by strange teachings or strange teachers.

------------

'Peter's Righteous Stand.'

Acts 10:14.

a)  "No, Lord!" Peter answered.

b)  "I have never eaten

c)  "Anything impure or unclean."

(This Second one teaches me Peter's Righteous Stand)

PRAY: To make Righteous Stands when we need to.

-------------

Chris.

Peter gives us an example of what it means to make a Righteous Stand. This kind of Stand is based on the Teachings of the Bible that are relevant for us today. there are times that every True Believer will have to make a Righteous Stand, God will give the Strength and Grace in order for us to do this.

God Is Able To Protect Us!

'God Is Able To Protect Us.'

Psalm 35:4.

a)  Let those be ashamed and dishonored

b)  Who seek my life;

c)  Let those be turned back and humiliated

d)  Who devise evil against me. Psalm 40:14; 70:2; 71:13.

(This QT gives me confidence that God Is Able To Protect Us)

PRAY: To believe in God's ability to protect us.

-----------

'Jeremiah's Desperate Prayer.'

Jeremiah 17:18.

a)  Let my persecutors be put to shame,

b)  But do not let me be put to shame.

c)  Let them be terrified.

d)  Bring upon them the day of disaster

e)  And shatter them with double destruction.

(In this Second one I find Jeremiah's Desperate Prayer)

PRAY: Desperate prayers when we need to.

-----------

Chris.

We should be able to pray for those people who may persecute us. Jesus tells us this fact in His New Testament Teachings. Jeremiah prayed for those who persecuted him to be put to shame. Jesus said that we are to "bless" those who persecute us. Both the praying and the blessing may be honestly extremely difficult! If, however, we can do this, we will be Helped and Blessed by God.

History Still Stands!

'History Still Stands.'

Judges 1:18.

a)  Also Judah took Gaza with its territory,

b)  Ashkelon with its territory,

c)  And Ekron with its territory.

(This QT reminds me that History Still Stands)

PRAY: For peace in the Middle East.

----------

'The Binding Power Of Love.'

Colossians 3:14.

a)  And above all these

b)  Put on love,

c)  Which binds everything together

d)  In perfect harmony.

(This Second one reminds me of The Binding Power Of Love)

PRAY: For your Church to be filled with The Binding Power Of Love.

----------

Chris.

Love is an important part of the Christian life and experience. The New Testament has so much to say about love. When we are in a loving Christian environment it is very good for us in body, soul and spirit. Christianity without love is just meaningless religion. It is love which makes everything come together in the Body of Christ! The Bible encourages us to love.

Always The Same!

 'Always The Same.'

Hebrews 13:8.

a)  Jesus Christ

b)  Is the same

c)  Yesterday, today and forever.

(This QT reminds me that Jesus Christ is Always The Same)

PRAY: To believe in Jesus Christ - He is Always The Same!

---------

'The Alpha And Omega.'

Revelation 1:8.

a)  "I am the Alpha and the Omega,"

b)  Says the Lord God,

c)  1-"Who is

2-"And Who was

3-"And Who is to come,

d)  The Almighty.

(Through this Second one I thank God for The Alpha And Omega)

PRAY: To encounter The Alpha And Omega.

---------

Chris.

The Lord God is always the Almighty. This statement covers the past, the present and the future! It is most reassuring to know that we True Believers belong to the Almighty. Sometimes we tend to try to become too intimate or over-familiar with God, this is usually due to incorrect teaching and people having an unreal concept of God. The Lord God is always the Almighty.

Prayer Of Faith And For Confidence!

'Prayer Of Faith And For Confidence.'

Psalm 35:3.

a)  Lift up your spears and javelins,

b)  Both large and small,

c)  Against those who chase and pursue me.

d)  Tell my soul:

e)  "I will save you, I am your Salvation and Victory."

(This QT is a Prayer Of Faith And For Victory)

PRAY: For confidence and victory today.

--------

'Lock.'

a)  2 Samuel 13:17. The door behind Tamar. (An act of cruel rejection.)

b)  2 Samuel 20:3. David thoughtlessly locked up women.

c)  Jeremiah 20:2; 33:1. Jeremiah was locked up in prison.

d)  Matthew 23:13. Hypocritical teachers lock the door to the Kingdom of God so that their hearers have difficulty entering it.

e)  Luke 11:7. The door is locked shut at night.

f)  John 20:19 & 26. Jesus miraculously came through the locked door.

(This Second one teaches me that a locked door does not hinder the Lord)

--------

Chris.

We sometimes hear very unbalanced teaching regarding Bible Characters. I think one of the main reasons of the lifetime records of the Bible is to show us that no human person is perfect! To look to the Christ of the Scriptures is very faith-inspiring and helpful. Let us learn the lessons that we need to learn from these Characters and press on with our walk with the Lord.

Hormah - Claimed For Destruction!

'Hormah - Claimed For Destruction.'
Judges 1:17.
a)  Then the men of Judah,
b)  Went with the Simeonites their fellow Israelites
c)  And attacked the Canaanites living in Zephath,
d)  And they totally destroyed the city.
e)  Therefore it was called Hormah.
(This QT teaches me about Hormah - Claimed For Destruction)
PRAY: For God's Mercy for the town or city in which you live.
-------
'Peace And Holiness.'
Hebrews 12:14.
a)  Strive for Peace with everyone,
b)  And for the Holiness
c)  Without which
d)  No one will see the Lord.
(Through this Second one I want to live in Peace And Holiness)
PRAY: To live in Peace And Holiness.
-------
Chris.
Both whom we may join together with, and the purpose of that joining together, are very important. We should be mindful of the purpose if we are joining together with people outside of our household. We should not be "pulled in" to their personal issues. We should follow the Biblical injunction to "live at peace with all people".

A Standard For Spiritual Leadership!

'A Standard For Spiritual Leadership.'

Hebrews 13:7.

a)  Remember your leaders,

b)  Those who spoke to you the Word of God.

c)  Consider the outcome of their way of life,

d)  And imitate their Faith.

(This QT reminds me that the New Testament sets A Standard For Spiritual Leadership)

PRAY: For your Spiritual Leaders.

------

'Obey Your Spiritual Leaders.'

Hebrews 13:17.

a)  Obey your Leaders and submit to them,

b)  For they are keeping watch over your souls,

c)  As those who will have to give an account.

d)  Let them do this with joy

e)  And not with groaning,

f)  For that would be of no advantage to you.

(Through this Second one I note the importance of the exhortation: Obey Your Spiritual Leaders)

P'RAY: For God's Help and Strength in order to Obey Your Spiritual Leaders.

------

Chris.

Spiritual Leaders, whether in home, Church or Nation, will have to give an account of their ministry to God. This is clearly taught in the Second part of this QT. God's Way was never 'the rule of the many', it was always through an anointed Leader or Leadership. This has not changed, even though the political environment around us may be different! We should be praying for our Spiritual Leaders and sometimes welcome them to a meal, as in the picture.

Prepare Yourself To Come And Help Me!

'Prepare Yourself To Come And Help Me.'

Psalm 35:2.

a)  Take up shield and armour;

b)   Arise

c)  And come to my aid.

(This QT teaches me that I should be ready to help those people who really need help)

PRAY: To be a willing and sensitive helper.

-----

'A Blessing For The Righteous People.'

Psalm 5:12.

a)  For you Bless the Righteous people;

b)  Oh Lord.

c)  You cover him with favour

d)  As with a shield.

(This Second one reveals to me A Blessing For The Righteous People)

PRAY: For Righteous People to be continually Blessed.

-----

Chris.

God will Bless the Righteous People! It is not for us to determine how, when and where He will do this but the Promise is very sure. We are made Righteous through and by the Blood of Jesus which has been shed for us and by trusting in God's Truth and Grace. We should thank God for the Grace given to us to enable us to be Righteous in His Sight.

An Unusual Move!

'An Unusual Move.'

Judges 1:16.

a)  The descendants of Moses' father-in-law,

b)  The Kenite,

c)  Went up from the City of Palms

d)  With the people of Judah

e)  To live among the inhabitants of the Desert of Judah

f)  In the Negev

g)  Near Arad.

(This QT reveals An Unusual Move...)

PRAY: When you may have to make An Unusual Move of some kind.

----

'Palm Trees.'

a)  Exodus 15:27. Were at Elim.

b)  Exodus 29:24. Were used as wave offerings before the Lord.

c)  Deuteronomy 34:3. Jericho was the City of Palm Trees.

d)  Judges 4:5. Provided shelter for the Woman of God.

(Through this Second one I thank God for Palm Trees)

PRAY: Thanking God for His Creation.

----

Chris.

Elim was a very special place in the desert. It was an oasis! Palm trees were there, under which people could shelter. It was a place of provision and rest. Palm trees were also cut into branches and used as wave offerings in Worship to the Lord. Jericho must have been a very lovely place... the City of Palm Trees!

Confidence In The Lord!

'Confidence In The Lord.'

Hebrews 13:6.

a)  So we can confidently say:

b)  "The Lord is my Helper;

c)  "I will not fear;

d)  "What can man do to me?"

(Through this QT I have Confidence In The Lord)

PRAY: To have Confidence In The Lord.

---

'Equipped To Do God's Will.'

Hebrews 13:20-21.

a)  Now may the God of Peace

b)  Who brought again from the dead

c)  Our Lord Jesus, the Great Shepherd of the sheep,

d)  By the Blood of the Eternal Covenant,

e)  Equip you with everything good that you may do His Will,

f)  Working in us that which is pleasing in His Sight,

g)  Through Jesus Christ,

h)  To Whom be Glory forever and ever. Amen.

(This Second one teaches me the necessity of being Equipped To Do God's Will)

PRAY: To be Equipped To Do God's Will.

---

Chris.

To be able to do the Will of God, we need to be equipped with everything good that we need. One of the saddest things to see are people who want to do the Will of God and then try to do the Will of God but they are not properly equipped for it. in doing the Will of God we should not just be confident: "I can do it!" Rather, we should be confident in the fact that we are properly equipped to do it. Confidence is also a part of the foundation of a happy family - as in the picture. Parents who know how to be parents will have a happy and Blessed family.

Plead My Cause Oh Lord!

 'Plead My Cause O Lord.'

Psalm 35:1.

a)  Plead my cause, O Lord,

b)  With them that strive with me:

c)  Fight against them

d)  That fight against me.

(This QT reminds me of the Prayer: Plead My Cause O Lord)

PRAY: Bringing our case to the Lord.

-----------------------------

'Christ The Reality.'

Colossians 2:17.

a)  For these rules

b)  Are only shadows

c)  Of the reality yet to come.

d)  And Christ Himself is that reality.

(This Second one makes me give Thanks to God for Christ The Reality)

PRAY: To trust Christ The Reality.

--------------------------------

Chris.

The New Testament rules mentioned here in Colossians, as well as in other places, are only shadows of that which is to come. They will all be fulfilled when Christ Jesus returns. They are important and are to be obeyed as a Testimony to the Saving Grace of the Lord, but they are temporary. We, as True Believers, look forward to the Day when we fully inherit the New Heavens and the New Earth!

More Of Caleb's Generosity And Kindness!

'More Of Caleb's Generosity And Kindness.'

Judges 1:15.

a)  She said to him:

b)  "Give me a Blessing

c)  "Since you have set me in the Land of the Negeb,

d)  "Give me also springs of water."

e)  And Caleb gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.

(This QT tells me More Of Caleb's Generosity And Kindness)

PRAY: To be generous and kind.

----------------------------

'Roots Are Important.'

Matthew 13:6

a)  But when the sun came up,

b)  The plants were scorched,

c)  And they withered

d)  Because they had no root.

(Through this Second one I see that Roots Are Important)

PRAY: To have the right kind of roots in our lives.

-----------------------------

Chris.

The Sun is incredibly powerful! I am not, here, going into all the powerful aspects of the Sun, I just want to express the amazing consistency of God's Creation. Surely, He makes all things well! He gives roots to the plants and trees that we need so that they may receive moisture from the ground and He gives the sunshine to ripen them!

Be Content!

'Be Content.'

Hebrews 13:5.

a)  Keep your life free

b)  From love of money,

c)  And be content

d)  With what you have,

e)  For He has said:

f)  "I will never leave you or forsake you."

(This QT encourages me to Be Content)

PRAY: To Be Content.

-------------------------

'Basic Needs Met.'

1 Timothy 6:8.

a)  But if we have food and clothing,

b)  With these

c)  We will be content.

(This Second one makes me grateful for Basic Needs Met)

PRAY: Giving thanks to God for Basic Needs Met.

-------------------------

Chris.

Food and clothing are basic essentials for our lives. If we lack food and clothing we are indeed in a miserable state. As True Believers we should always to be grateful to God for our food and clothing. In some parts of the World people are lacking both. The Church does have a part to play with Mercy Ministry, reaching out to the poor people with food and clothing.

Our Redeemer!

'Our Redeemer.'

Psalm 34:22.

a)  The Lord redeems the soul of His Servants,

b)  And none of those

c)  Who trust in Him

d)  Shall be condemned.

(This QT makes me so grateful for Our Redeemer)

PRAY: To continually trust in Our Redeemer.

----------------------

'Our Refuge.'

Psalm 9:9.

a)  The Lord also will be a Refuge

b)  For the oppressed,

c)  A refuge in times of trouble.

(Through this Second one I am thankful for Our Refuge)

PRAY: To trust in Our Refuge.

----------------------

Chris.

We can be comforted by reading the Book of Psalms in the Bible. These inspired songs and poems, written down and recorded for us are really inspiring and comforting as a part of God's Word. Some people that I know read a Psalm daily, as well as their other Bible readings. Be encouraged by reading a Psalm!

Caleb's Kindness To Achsah!

'Caleb's Kindness To Achsah.'

Judges 1:14.

a)  Now it happened,

b)  When Achsah came to Othniel,

c)  That she urged him to ask her father for a field.

d)  And she dismounted from her donkey.

e)  And Caleb said to her: "What do you wish?"

(This QT shows to me Caleb's Kindness To Achsah)

PRAY: To be kind like Caleb.

---------------------

'They Could Not Prove Anything.'

Acts 25:7.

a)  After Paul arrived,

b)  The Jews who had come down from Jerusalem

c)  Stood around him,

d)  Bringing many and serious charges against him

e)  Which they could not prove.

(Through this Second one I see that They Could Not Prove Anything)

PRAY: That they cannot prove anything because you are innocent.

---------------------

Chris.

After Paul arrived he faced a difficult time of accusation from the Jews. We all face difficult times in different ways. When we know that we are innocent and the accusations against us are false, we need to stand firm in the Truth of God with a clear conscience.

Keep A Good And Happy Marriage!

'Keep A Good And Happy Marriage.'

Hebrews 13:4.

a)  Marriage should be honoured by all,

b)  And the marriage bed kept pure.

c)  For God will judge the adulterer

d)  And all the sexually immoral.

(This QT reminds me to Keep A Good And Happy Marriage alive while it exists)

PRAY: For your marriage to be good and happy, whatever the environment or situation.

--------------------

'Where Woman Came From.'

Genesis 2:21.

a)  So the Lord God

b)  Caused a deep sleep

c)  To fall upon the man,

d)  And while he slept

e)  Took one of his ribs

f)  And closed up its place with flesh.

(This Second one teaches me Where Woman Came From)

PRAY: For the women in your family and Church.

---------------------

Chris.

God can still cause a deep sleep to fall upon someone if He wants or needs to do it! There are times that God HAS to put us to sleep in some way so that He can do what He wants to do. When God puts us to sleep, we do not get in His Way. Sometimes, when we are sleeping, God can work amazing things, much greater that we can imagine or pray for. Have a good sleep when you need to, you will not miss something from God!

The Righteous Will Be Protected!

'The Righteous Will Be Protected.'

Psalm 34:21.

a)  Evil shall slay the wicked,

b)  And those who hate the righteous

c)  Will be condemned.

(This QT reminds me that The Righteous Will Be Protected)

PRAY: To stand in Christ as a Righteous Person.

----------------

'Woe To The Wicked.'

Isaiah 3:11.

a)  Woe to the wicked -

b)  It will go badly for them,

c)  For what they have done

d)  Will be done to them.

(This Second one announces Woe To The Wicked)

PRAY: For wicked people to repent of their wickedness.

----------------

Chris.

There is a very clear understanding given to us in the Scriptures that there is woe coming to the wicked people unless they repent of their wickedness and come to the Lord. This is especially in regard to those people whom God obviously sees as wicked. Sometimes human beings wrongly judge fellow human beings as being 'wicked', that is wrong! We need to leave the ultimate Judgement to God.

A Very Different Culture!

'A Very Different Culture.'

Judges 1:13.

a) And Othniel the son of Kenaz,

b)  Took it

c)  And he gave him Achsah as wife.

(This QT reveals to us life in A Very Different Culture)

PRAY: To accept A Very Different Culture if you are living in one.

-----------

'Bargaining In The Bible.'

Judges 1:24.

a)  The spies saw a man coming out of the town

b)  And said to him:

c)  "Please show us how to get into town,

d)  "And we will show you kindness."

(This Second one teaches me that there was bargaining In The Bible times!)

PRAY: To learn to give unconditional and not conditional kindness.

-----------

Chris.

There are examples of Bargaining in the Bible. The second part of this QT clearly shows us so. In most parts of the World bargaining is a part of the culture and is not necessarily sinful or evil. Bargaining only becomes bad when sin is introduced as a part of the "deal"! Believers need to be wise and flexible, but without compromise, when dealing with the World System.

Suffering Believers!

 'Suffering Believers.'

Hebrews 13:3.

a)  Remember those (Believers) who are in prison,

b)  As though in prison with them,

c)  And those who are mistreated,

d)  Since you also are in the Body.

(Through this QT I pray for Suffering Believers)

PRAY: For any suffering Believers whom you may know of.

----------

'A Word For Leaders Of The Household.'

Acts 16:31.

a)  They replied:

b)  "Believe in the Lord Jesus

c)  "And you will be saved -

d)  "You and your household."

(This Second one is A Word For Leaders Of The Household)

PRAY: For the Leader of your household.

----------

Chris.

Not in "rank", but in service, the Leader of the household is a very important and significant person. God holds this person responsible for the family that they lead. If we have a natural family, we should pray for our family's leader, the Church 'family' should also be praying for their leaders too!

Fulfilled In Christ!

'Fulfilled In Christ.'

Psalm 34:20.

a)  He keeps all His Bones

b)  Not one of them

c)  Is broken.

(This QT reminds me of the Prophecies fulfilled in Christ!)

PRAY. For physical safety both at home and outside.

---------

'Promise Of Angelic Protection.'

Psalm 91:11.

a)  For He Will command His Angels

b)  Concerning you

c)  To guard you

d)  In all your ways.

(This Second one reminds me of the Promise Of Angelic Protection)

PRAY: Believing in the Promise Of Angelic Protection.

---------

Chris.

Angelic Protection is not only a Biblical and historical fact, it is also real today. I have heard truthful and humble testimonies over the years that convince me that Angelic Protection is real, even today. We should not mock, or belittle testimonies that we do not understand, what we should do is 'measure' them with the Word of God. This picture reminds me of a lovely Church - fruitful in Christ.

What A Challenge!

',What A Challenge!'

Judges 1:12.

a)  Caleb said:

b)  "Whoever attacks and captures Kiriath Sepher,

c)  "I will give my daughter Achsah to him

d)  "As a wife."."

(This QT makes me exclaim: "What A Challenge)

PRAY: For Strength and Grace to face every challenge that the Lord brings along our way.

--------

'Show Me, Lead Me And Teach Me.'

Psalm 25:4-5.

a)  Show me the right path, Oh Lord;

b)  Point out the road for me to follow.

c)  Lead me by Your Truth and Teach me,

d)  For You are the God Who saves me.

e)  All day long I put my hope in You.

(This Second one is a meaningful Prayer: Show me, Lead me and Teach me!)

PRAY: For the Lord's Leading in our lives.

---------

Chris.

Here is a good prayer for every True Believer to follow. No matter our age or gender, it is a necessary prayer. We need the Truth of God and the Spirit of God to lead us every day. Without this kind of leading, we become like lost sheep, often wandering in a desert of confusion! "Lord, please show me, lead me and teach me.

Hospitality Ministry!

'Hospitality Ministry.'

Hebrews 13:2.

a)  Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers,

b)  For thereby

c)  Some have entertained Angels unawares.

(This QT makes me give thanks for those people who engage in Hospitality Ministry)

PRAY: For those Believers serving in Hospitality Ministry

-------

'Jesus Christ's Experience Of Hospitality.'

Matthew 25:35.

a)  For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat,

b)  I was thirstyd and you gave Me something to drink,

c)  I was a stranger and you invited Me in.

(Through this Second one I find Jesus Christ's Experience Of Hospitality)

PRAY: For the Churches to have a heart for Hospitality.

-------

Chris.

Jesus Christ Himself not only gave hospitality in certain ways, He also received hospitality. He mentions in the Gospels that He had nowhere to call His bed or to lay His Head! This is still a very necessary a very necessary and lovely ministry of the Church today. Those people involved in hospitality ministry often get little recognition in the Churches, we should encourage, thank and Bless them.

Our Wonderful Deliverer!

'Our Wonderful Deliverer.'

a)  Psalm 34:19. The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.

b)  Psalm 37:40. The Lord helps them and delivers them, He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in Him.

c)  Psalm 41:1. Blessed are those who have regard for the weak, the Lord delivers them in times of trouble.

d)  Psalm 97:10. Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for He guards the lives of His faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.

(This QT brings to my memory Our Wonderful Deliverer)

PRAY: To give thanks to Our Wonderful Deliverer for His Acts of deliverance.

------

'Restoration And Healing.'

a)   .Jeremiah 30:17. "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds." declares the Lord.

b)   1 Kings 13:6. The king's hand was restored.

c)  Ezra 6:5. Restore the gold and silver to the House of God.

d)  Galatians 6:1. Restore the fallen Believer.

e)  Mark 3:5; Matthew 12:13. His hand was restored and healed by Jesus.

f)  Mark 8:25. Restoration of sight.

(This Second one makes me realise that Restoration And Healing should be a part of the Ministry of the Church)

PRAY. For Restoration and Healing to be well manifested in the Body of Christ.

------

Chris.

There are many people, even in the Churches who need restoration of their health and healing for their wounds. I am sure that the Lord has compassion on these people, if that is the case, surely we should have compassion also! All we have to do is read through the Gospels, it is so easy there to find many examples of the Lord's Compassion.

The House Of Books!

 'The House Of Books.'

Judges 1:11.

a)  From there

b)  Judah went against the inhabitants of Debir,

c)  The name of Debir

d)  Was formerly Kiriath Sepher,

e)  The meaning of Kiriath Sepher is The House Of Books!

(This QT reminds me about the importance of The House Of Books, So often mindless people - even some Christians - attack those Believers who enjoy reading or studying books)

PRAY: For God's Blessing on those people who enjoy The House Of Books.

-----

'Men In Tune With The Lord.'

Matthew 1-2.

a)  Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea,

b)  In the days of Herod the King,

c)  Behold, there came wise men from the East to Jerusalem,

d)  Saying, "Where is He Who is born King of the Jews?

e)  "For we have seen His Star in the East,

f)  "And are come to Worship Him."

(This Second one simply shows to me Men In Tune With The Lord)

PRAY: To be In Tune With The Lord.

-----

Chris.

We need to consider that the Lord Jesus understands all of our shared human experiences. It is very wonderful that God the Father sent His Only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Jesus totally identified with every human experience except sin, He did no sin, although He took the punishment for our sins. If we put our Faith in Him, we too, can truly learn to be "in tune" with the Lord. PICTURE: Enjoying the good weather in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK

d)  Leviticus 25:35-36. Other peoples continuing to live amongst God's People.

e)  Leviticus 26:5. Your threshing will continue until grape harvest.

f)  1 Kings 8:23; 2 Chronicles 6:14. ... "Lord, the God of Israel, there is no God like you in Heaven above or on Earth below -- You Who keep Your Covenant of Love with Your servants who continue wholeheartedly in Your way.

g)  Psalm 72:17. May the Lord's Name continue as long as the sun.

'Just Slow Down!"

2 John 1:9.

a)  Anyone who runs ahead

b)  And does not continue in the Teaching of Christ

PRAY: To simply Just Slow Down if you need to.

----

Chris.

This Second Epistle of John begins with many positive affirmations. This is a great lesson for us to learn in our communications with other Believers. The Bible not only gives us Doctrine but, also teaches us things for our practical lives and relationships. We should never run ahead of the Lord but we should follow Him carefully in all aspects of our lives.

There are a few occasions that I have witnessed Big Hail, they remind me of how Great our God is. God is really in control of Nature. He can create parched and dry deserts. He can create green and humid jungles. He can also create very pleasant environment in which people can live. Also, He can restore our inner man. What a Wonderful God is our God!

(This Second one makes me to exclaim: "Wow - What An Angel!")

PRAY: For Divine Intervention in our life if we need it.

------------------------

Chris.

We read many times in the Old Testament about "The Angel of the Lord." Many Bible Teachers believe and teach that The Angel of the Lord is actually a manifestation of Christ Himself. Miraculous fire is surely a sign of the Lord's Presence. I believe in Angels and their actions on behalf of God's People.

PRAY: To learn to live facing A Real Challenge.

--------------------------

Chris.

To love our enemies is a very challenging Biblical instruction. It is also directly mentioned in the Teachings of Jesus Christ. He reveals the Blessings that come to us when we are able to love our enemies. I am not going into a definition of "enemies" today, most of us know whom we regard as enemies (if we have any). The important thing is the attitude of our heart towards them. As in the picture, it may be good to share a comforting drink with them.

The Christian Life!
