We need to remind ourselves that one of the main factors of being a True Believer Christian is that we have confidence that Christ dwells in our heart by Faith. This is a true exercise of Faith. There is nothing to do with feelings here, it is to do with Faith. Christ dwells in our hearts by Faith.
