Isaiah 55:11.

b) It goes forth from His Mouth.
c) It shall not return to Him void.
d) It shall accomplish that which He pleases.
e) It shall prosper in the thing for which He sent it.

God's Word is intended, by Himself, to prosper in the thing, or reason, for which He sent it! Sometimes we meet people who waste their words, they sound impressive, but what they actually say amounts to nothing. God never wastes His Word, it is always purposeful. We need to read our Bibles and we need to expose ourselves to the Word of God in every way that is possible.
