Great Is The Lord!

‘Great Is The Lord.’
Psalm 145:3.
a)     Great is the Lord.
b)    He is Worthy of Praise.
c)      His Greatness cannot be grasped.
d)    His Greatness is unsearchable.
(Through this QT I proclaim: Great Is The Lord)
---------------------------
‘Strength And Power From Christ.’
Philippians 4:19.
a)     I have strength for all things.
b)    Through Christ.
c)      Who empowers me.
d)    He is the One Who gives me strength.
(This Second one makes me grateful that I Have Strength And Power From Christ)
---------------------------
Chris.
It is good to proclaim the greatness of the Lord. We do have a great God Who is God of gods and Lord of lords. We should never have fear of exalting Him. If we love and we read the Word of God we cannot fail to see the greatness of the Lord.

Noah's Faith!

‘Noah’s Faith.’
Hebrews 11:7.
a)     Noah was forewarned by God concerning events to come.
b)    By Faith Noah took heed.
c)      He diligently and reverently prepared an ark for the deliverance of his own family.
d)    By Faith, on the World’s unbelief he:-
1-    Passed Judgment.
2-    Passed Sentence.
3-    Manifested condemnation.
e)     He became heir of the Righteousness that is according to Faith.
(Through this QT I am Blessed by Noah’s Faith)
--------------------------
‘An Honest And Desperate Response To Jesus.’
Mark 9:24.
a)     The response of this father to the words of Jesus, regarding his child, was immediate.
b)    He said to the Lord that he Believed.
c)      Then He asked the Lord to help his unbelief.
(This Second one shows me An Honest And Desperate Response To Jesus)
--------------------------
Chris.
The way that Noah dealt with the unbelief in the World system that surrounded him was not passive. By taking the positive action of building an ark in obedience to God and preparing for the future, even though the World system was mocking him, was a giant step of Faith. A great lesson for me and for us.

Baggage!

‘Baggage.’
a)     Isaiah 10:28. Can be stored.
b)    Joshua 7:11; 1 Samuel 10:22. Can be used for deception.
c)      Judges 18:21. Was sometimes sent ahead of its owners.
d)    1 Samuel 17:22. There was frequently a keeper of the baggage, someone’s special task.
e)     1 Samuel 30:21 & 24. David left 200 men with the baggage.
f)       Jeremiah 10:17. Sometimes needs to be gathered up.
g)      Ezekiel 12:4-7. Sometimes we simply need to gather it up and go.
h)    Acts 21:15. Needs to be packed well.
(This QT reminds me of the importance of dealing well with Baggage)
---------------------------
‘Jesus Cared About Sinners.’
Luke 19:7.
a)     The people muttered and murmured against Jesus.
b)    They complained that He had gone to be the guest of a man.
c)      Who was a sinner.
(This Second one shows me that Jesus Cared About Sinners)
---------------------------
Chris.

David left 200 men with the baggage. The reason for this was that these men were already exhausted and were incapable of fighting well in David’s army. David had wisdom in this situation. He did not discard these men as being weak or useless he left them to look after the baggage.

God Works In Us!

‘God Works In Us.’
Ephesians 3:20.
a)     God is able.
b)    To do exceedingly abundantly.
c)      Above all that we ask.
d)    Above all that we even think.
e)     According to the Power that works in us. (The Holy Spirit)
(Through this QT I am amazed that God Works In Me)
--------------------------
‘Accusers Have No Wisdom.’
Matthew 11:19.
a)     The Son of Man came eating and drinking. (That was and is the normal way of man)
b)    He was accused of being:-
1-A gluttonous man.
2-A drunkard.
3-A friend of tax collectors. (They were mostly corrupt and evil)
4-A friend of sinners.
c)      Jesus replied that Wisdom is justified by her actions. (Or Children)
(This Second one proves to me that Accusers Have No Wisdom)
--------------------------
Chris.
Accusers have no Wisdom. What accusers usually have plenty of is bitterness. One of the bad fruit of the root of bitterness is accusation. The Bible tells us that we can ask God for Wisdom and He will generously give it to us.

We All Need Faith!

‘We All Need Faith.’
Hebrews 11:6.
a)     Without Faith no one can please God.
b)    The person who comes to God must believe that He exists.
c)      The person who comes to God must believe that He is One Who rewards those who seek after Him.
(This QT reminds me that I Need Faith)
-------------------------
‘Faith And Love Expressed.’
Luke 7:36-50.
a)     Luke 7:36. Simon the Pharisee welcomed Jesus as a guest for a meal.
b)    Luke 7:37. A sinful woman knew that Jesus was there in the Pharisee’s house. She brought an alabaster flask of perfumed oil.
c)      Luke 7:38. Standing behind at His feet, weeping, she began to wet His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.
d)    Luke 7:39. The Pharisee spoke to himself about Jesus because he thought that, if Jesus was a prophet, He would reject the sinful woman.
e)     Luke 7:40. Jesus knew what Simon was thinking and He spoke out. Then Simon asked Him to continue His conversation.
f)       Luke 7:41-42. Jesus told Simon a story about Forgiveness and Love.
g)      Luke 7:43. Simon fully understood the story.
h)    Luke 7:44-46. Jesus lovingly affirmed what the sinful woman had done to Him.
i)       Luke 7:47-48. Jesus forgave the sinful woman her sins.
j)       Luke 7:49. The other guests who sat at Simon’s table began to accuse Jesus about His forgiving the sinful woman’s sins.
k)    Luke 7:50. Jesus ignored the accusers and told the sinful woman that her Faith had Saved her and she was to go in Peace.
(Through this Second one I see Faith And Love Expressed)
-------------------------
Chris.

The perfumed oil with which the sinful woman anointed the feet of Jesus was very valuable and precious. It was probably the most costly thing that she owned such was her love for the Lord. Jesus did not reject this as being a waste, He received it as her Love and Worship. We should give our best and do our best for the Lord.

Relief Is On The Way!

‘Relief Is On The Way.’
Isaiah 10:24-27.
a)     Isaiah 10:24. This is what the Lord of Hosts says:-
1-    Oh My People who dwell in Zion.
2-    Be not afraid of the Assyrians although they smite with a rod against you.
3-    Even if they lift up their staff against you as the Egyptians did.
b)    Isaiah 10:25. In just a very little while The Lord’s indignation against His People will be accomplished and His anger will be turned towards the Assyrians.
c)      Isaiah 10:26. The Lord of Hosts will:-
1-    Stir up against the Assyrians a scourge as in the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb.
2-    The Lord’s rod will be over the sea.
3-    The Lord will lift up His rod as He did in Egypt.
d)    Isaiah 10:27. In that day there will no more burden and yoke from the Assyrians on the Lord’s People.
(Through this QT I rejoice because Relief Is On The Way)
------------------------
‘Real Friends.’
Proverbs 18:24.
a)     There are ‘friends’ who pretend to be friends.
b)    There is a friend.
c)      Who sticks closer than a brother.
(This Second one gives me a heart of Thanksgiving for Real Friends)
------------------------
Chris.

Sometimes, when we are fearful, those people who are against us can detect the fact. It does not really help us if we pretend not to be afraid. In those seasons of temptation to fear we need the Lord very much. Call out to Him and Trust in Him, He is able to deliver us.

Growing Up Into Christ!

‘Growing Up Into Christ.’
Ephesians 4:15-16.
a)    We should be speaking the Truth in Love.
b)    We are to grow up in every way into our Head Who is Christ.
c)     From Christ, the whole Body, joined and knit together by every joint with which it is supplied.
d)    When each part is working properly.
e)     Makes bodily growth and up-builds itself in Love.
(Through this QT I want to continue Growing Up Into Christ)
-----------------------
‘Some Simple Principles Of Ministry.’
Luke 10:1.
a)    It is good for us to look at these Principles because Jesus taught them.
b)    Those who went out for the Gospel’s sake were appointed by the Lord.
c)     They were sent out two by two.
d)    They went to every town and place where Jesus was going to come. (It was planned and targeted)
(This Second one shows me Some Simple Principles Of Ministry)
-----------------------
Chris.

Each part of the Body of Christ needs to be working properly. I can see two clear meanings of this statement. Firstly, each member needs to be functioning in the way that God intends it to function. Secondly, when we are doing what God wants us to do as members of the Body of Christ, we need to do it in a proper manner.

Enoch's Faith!

‘Enoch’s Faith.’
Hebrews 11:5.
a)    By Faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death.
b)    Enoch was not found.
c)     God translated him.
d)    Enoch had this witness given to him before he was translated.
e)     He had been well pleasing to God.
(Through this QT I am amazed by Enoch’s Faith)
----------------------
‘Two Are Better Than One.’
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10.
a)    Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labour.
b)    If they fall the one will lift up his neighbour.
c)     Woe to the person who is alone when they fall.
d)    This person has no one to lift him up.
(This Second one reminds me that Two Are Better Than One)
----------------------
Chris.

The desire of every True Believer should be following the example of Enoch. He was well pleasing to God. As we sincerely ask God how we can be well pleasing to Him and also as we read His Word carefully, it becomes clear how we can be well pleasing to God.

A Blessed Remnant!

‘A Blessed Remnant.’
Isaiah 10:16-23.
a)    Isaiah 10:16. The Lord will sent a wasting sickness amongst His stout warriors.
b)    Isaiah 10:16. Under the Lord’s Glory will be a burning like the burning of fire.
c)     Isaiah 10:17. The Light of Israel will become a fire and His Holy One a flame.
d)    Isaiah 10:17. God’s thorns and briers will be burned in one day.
e)     Isaiah 10:18. The Lord will destroy the glory of His forest and fruitful land.
f)      Isaiah 10:18. The Lord will destroy both soul and body as it will be when an invalid wastes away.
g)    Isaiah 10:19. The remnant of the trees of His forest will be so few that a child can number them.
h)    Isaiah 10:20. The remnant will lean on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel in Truth.
i)      Isaiah 10:21. A remnant will return to God.
j)      Isaiah 10:22. Because of the Lord’s Righteousness a remnant shall return.
k)     Isaiah 10:23. The Lord God of Hosts will make a full end, as decreed, in all the Earth.
(Through this QT I thank God that there will be A Blessed Remnant)
---------------------
‘God Said It Is Not Good.’
Genesis 2:18.
a)    The Lord God said.
b)    It is not good that man should be alone.
c)     That He will make him a helper as his partner.
(From this Second one I can find when God Said It Is Not Good)
---------------------
Chris.

God has warriors. He disguises them in many forms. Sometimes His warriors are Angels, sometimes they are Prayer Warriors (human beings). Sometimes they are actually the armed services fighting for causes that are just and right. We need not fear because God has warriors and when needed these warriors will also fight for us True Believers.

We Struggle But Victoriously!

‘We Struggle But Victoriously.’
Ephesians 6:12.
a)    We do not struggle against enemies of flesh and blood.
b)    We struggle against principalities.
c)     We struggle against spiritual rulers.
d)    We struggle against powers.
e)     We struggle against spiritual authorities.
f)      We struggle against world rulers of darkness.
g)    We struggle against spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places.
(This QT reminds me that I Struggle But Victoriously)
 --------------------
‘We Should Exhort One Another.’
Hebrews 3:13.
a)    This exhortation of one another is for every True Believer.
b)    It is something for us to do today.
c)     Then none of need be hardened.
d)    By the deceitfulness of sin.
(This Second makes clear to me that I Should Exhort Other True Believers)
--------------------
Chris.

We struggle against spiritual authorities and we do that in the Name of the Highest Authority Who is the Lord Jesus Christ. It does not matter where on this Earth we are living, all of us face this struggle. Sometimes we are confused when we move from one location to another. Even though the locations can be very nice and beautiful there are still spiritual authorities that need to be dealt with.

The Christian Life!

'The Christian Life.' a)  Deuteronomy 7:11. Keep the Word of  God. b)  Deuteronomy  7:12. Listen to the Word of God. c)  Deuteronomy...
