The Man Who Pleases God!

‘The Man Who Pleases God.’
Ecclesiastes 7:26.
a)      There is something that is more bitter than death.
b)      It is the woman:-
1-       Who is a snare.
2-      Whose heart is a trap.
3-      Whose hands are chains.
c)      The man who pleases God will escape her.
d)      The sinner she will ensnare.
(This QT shows me the Victory of The Man Who Pleases God)
----------
‘Assurance Of Being In Christ.’
Philippians 3:1-9.
a)      Philippians 3:1. It is necessary to keep rejoicing in the Lord.
b)      Philippians 3:1. Church Leaders desire Church members to be secure.
c)      Philippians 3:2. Watch out for:-
1-       Dogs.
2-      Evildoers.
3-      Mutilators of the flesh.
d)      Philippians 3:3. True Believers who are the True Circumcision:-
1-       Serve God by His Spirit.
2-      Boast in Christ Jesus.
3-      Put no confidence in the flesh.
e)      Philippians 3:4-6. Apostle Paul could have had confidence in the flesh:-
1-       He was circumcised on the eighth day.
2-      He was of the people of Israel.
3-      He was of the Tribe of Benjamin.
4-      He was a Hebrew of Hebrews.
5-      He was in regard to the Law a Pharisee.
6-      He was a zealot, persecuting the Church.
7-      He had faultless righteousness based on the Law.
f)        Philippians 3:7. Whatever was gain for him he counted loss for the sake of Christ.
g)      Philippians 3:8. He considered everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing His Lord Jesus Christ.
h)      Philippians 3:8. For Christ’s sake he lost all things.
i)        Philippians 3:8. He considered all things as garbage so that he may gain Christ.
j)        Philippians 3:9. He wanted to be found in Christ, not having a righteousness of his own which came from the Law.
k)      Philippians 3:9. He wanted to have the Righteousness which was through Faith in Christ. This Righteousness came from God on the basis of Faith.
(Through this Second one I thank God for the Assurance Of Being In Christ)
----------
Chris.
Apostle Paul was a Hebrew of the Hebrews and he counted it gone and lost for the sake of knowing Christ. I am always Blessed by reading the Testimonies of Apostle Paul. He really had a clear understanding of the Gospel and its life changing power. When our understanding of the Gospel is not complete then there is really very little change in our lives. The Teaching of God’s Word is so very important. Teaching peripheries instead of getting to the core of God’s Word will never produce Disciples of the Lord. We need to follow the example of Apostle Paul and of our Lord Himself and make Disciples through Teaching the Word of God.
