It Will Be Well!

‘It Will Be Well.’
Ecclesiastes 8:10-13.
a)      Ecclesiastes 8:10. We can see the wicked people buried.
b)      Ecclesiastes 8:10. Some of them were religious hypocrites, going in and out of God’s House.
c)       Ecclesiastes 8:10. These people were praised in their hypocrisy that is so futile.
d)      Ecclesiastes 8:11. Sentence against an evil deed should be executed speedily because the human heart is fully set to do evil.
e)      Ecclesiastes 8:12. Even though sinners do evil a hundred time and prolong their lives.
f)        Ecclesiastes 8:12. It will be well for those people who fear God and fear Him openly.
g)      Ecclesiastes 8:13. It will not be well for the wicked people.
h)      Ecclesiastes 8:13. The wicked people will not prolong their days like a shadow because they do not stand in fear of God.
(This QT reminds me that It Will Be Well for those people who openly fear God)
----------
‘Get Rid Of The Old And Put On The New.’
Ephesians 4:22-32.
a)      Ephesians 4:22. We are to put away:-
1-      Our former way of life.
2-     Our old corrupt self.
3-     Our old self deluded by its lusts.
b)      Ephesians 4:23. We need to be renewed in the spirit of our minds. (Spiritual renewal)
c)       Ephesians 4:24. Then we can clothe ourselves with a new self.
d)      Ephesians 4:24. This new self is created according to the likeness of God in True Righteousness and Holiness.
e)      Ephesians 4:25. So:-
1-      We should put away all falsehood. (Lies)
2-     We should speak the Truth to our neighbours.
3-     We realise that we are members of one another. (In the Body of Christ)
f)        Ephesians 4:26. We can be angry, but we should not sin by letting the sun go down on our anger.
g)      Ephesians 4:27. We do not make room for the Devil in our lives.
h)      Ephesians 4:28. Thieves:-
1-      Give up stealing.
2-     Begin to work honestly with your own hands.
3-     Have something to share with needy people. (This is evidence of a reformed life)
i)        Ephesians 4:29. Our words:-
1-      Let no evil words come out of our lives.
2-     Say what is useful for building other people up.
3-     Say what is necessary to say.
4-     Should give Grace to those people who hear us.
j)        Ephesians 4:30. We should not grieve the Holy Spirit of God by Whom we are sealed until the Day of Redemption.
k)      Ephesians 4:31. These things grieve the Holy Spirit:-
1-      Bitterness.
2-     Wrath.
3-     Anger.
4-     Wrangling.
5-     Slander.
6-     Malice.
7-     Notice that these are all verbal sins. (Plus some actions too)
l)        Ephesians 4:32. We should be:-
1-      Kind to one another.
2-     Tender hearted.
3-     Forgiving one another as Christ has forgiven us.
(This Second one is a clear call to me to Get Rid Of The Old And Put On The New)
----------
Chris.
Our words are important. We need to consider our words just as much as we consider our actions. Words are the primary way of Blessing other people if we are not dumb and they are not deaf. Words count in this World. I need to be reminded and we all need to be reminded, especially True Believers, of the importance of our words.

Simple And Easy To Understand!

‘Simple And Easy To Understand.’
Luke 7:42-43.
a)      Jesus was teaching Simon Peter about forgiveness.
b)      There were two people who were unable to repay their debts.
c)       One of them had a greater debt, the other a lesser debt.
d)      Both of them were graciously forgiven by the person to whom they owed the debt.
e)      Jesus questioned Peter as to which of these two people would love the one who forgave them more fervently.
f)        Simon Peter supposed that it was the person who was forgiven more.
g)      Jesus told Simon Peter that he had judged the situation correctly.
(Through this QT: Simple And Easy To Understand, I thank God that I have been given forgiveness of my sins through the Cross of Jesus Christ)
-----------
‘Those People Who Will Not Inherit The Kingdom Of God.’
Galatians 5:19-21.
a)      Galatians 5:19. The deeds of the flesh are obvious and evident. They are:-
1-      Immorality.
2-     Impurity.
3-     Sensuality.
4-     Adultery.
5-     Uncleanness.
6-     Lustfulness.
b)      Galatians 5:20. The deeds of the flesh are also:-
1-      Idolatry.
2-     Sorcery.
3-     Enmity.
4-     Strife.
5-     Ungodly jealousy.
6-     Outbursts of anger.
7-     Disputes.
8-    Dissentions.
9-     Factions.
10- Hatred.
11-  Rivalry.
12- Division.
13- Heresy.
c)       Galatians 5:21. The deeds of the flesh are also:-
1-      Drunkenness.
2-     Carousing.
3-     Murders.
4-     Orgies.
d)      Galatians 5:21. The Church needs to be warned and warned again.
e)      Galatians 5:21. The Church members who do such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
(This Second one clearly reveals to me Those People Who Will Not Inherit The Kingdom Of God, even though they may be in Church)
-----------
Chris.
There should never ever be hatred in God’s Church. The Church is supposed to be a place of Love. Many people come to Church for the first time because they hear the news that God loves them, that God is Love. Some of these people are speedily disillusioned because they find hatred and strife in the Church. This is not just a sad and bad emotional fact but it is also a sign that we should not attend that Church because they are blocking people from entering the Kingdom of God.

Guard These Things!

‘Guard These Things.’
2 Timothy 1:13-14.
a)      The standard of sound words which we hear from our Spiritual Leaders.
b)      Guard them in the Faith which is in Christ Jesus.
c)       Guard them in the Love which is in Christ Jesus.
d)      There is precious treasure which has been entrusted to us.
e)      We are to guard it through the Holy Spirit Who dwells in us.
(This QT reminds me to Guard These Things)
----------
‘Loving And Sinning Are Directly Opposed.
Romans 13:8-10.
a)      Romans 13:8. We are not to be in debt to anybody apart from loving our neighbour.
b)      Romans 13:9. There are certain things which we should not do:-
1-      Commit adultery.
2-     Murder.
3-     Steal.
4-     Covet.
c)       Romans 13:9. We should love our neighbours as we love ourselves.
d)      Romans 13:10. Love does no wrong to a neighbour.
e)      Romans 13:10. Therefore Love is the fulfilment of the Law.
(Through this Second one I know that Loving And Sinning Are Directly Opposed)
----------
Chris.
Guard these things! This is a very clear and wise instruction. Firstly, in order to guard them they need to become ours. Sometimes True Believers are more interested in political and social issues than they are in the Word of God. If they become like this they are both too noisy and empty. Secondly, we are to guard these words in Faith and Love, it is when we do this that the Word of God works in us and through us. Finally and thirdly, we need to realise how precious the Word of God and the Holy Spirit are.

Me Too!

‘Me Too.’
Ecclesiastes 8:9.
a)     I have thought deeply.
b)     About all that goes on here under the sun. (Day and night)
c)     Where people have the power to hurt each other.
(Through this QT I harmonise with the writer: Me Too)
--------
‘It Is Time To Know It.’
1 Corinthians 6:9-10.
a)     These unrighteous people shall not inherit the Kingdom of God.
b)     We are not to be deceived.
c)     The people concerned are practising:-
1-     Fornicators.
2-    Idolaters.
3-    Adulterers.
4-    Effeminate.
5-    Homosexuals.
6-    Thieves.
7-     Covetous.
8-    Drunkards.
9-    Revilers.
10-                        Swindlers.
(Through this QT I understand that It Is Time To Know It)
--------
Chris.
Effeminate! This is the comment from reference: "It is a term frequently applied to womanly behaviour, demeanour, style and appearance displayed by a male, typically used implying criticism or ridicule of this behaviour (as opposed to, for example, merely describing a male as feminine, which is non-judgmental). The term effeminate is most often used by people who subscribe to the conventional view that males should conform to traditional masculine traits and behaviours." It is neither correct nor natural for True Believer men to be effeminate. We must also realise that God created all of us and therefore His Goal for us is wholeness within what and how He made us.

Lovely To Be Beloved!

‘Lovely To Be Beloved.’
a)     Ephesians 5:1; 1 Corinthians 4:14 & 17. Beloved children.
b)     Deuteronomy 13:6; 28:54. Beloved wife.
c)     2 Samuel 1:23; Acts 15:25. Beloved spiritual leaders.
d)    2 Samuel 12:25. Beloved of the Lord.
e)     Psalm 60:5; 108:6; Jeremiah 11:15. Beloved people of God.
f)       Isaiah 5:1. Beloved lover.
g)     Lamentations 1:15. The Lord’s Beloved City.
h)    Matthew 12:18. Beloved Servant Son of God.
i)       Ephesians 6:21; Colossians 4:7 & 9. Beloved brother.
j)       Colossians 1:7; Philemon 1:1. Beloved co-worker.
k)     Colossians 4:14. Beloved doctor.
(This QT reminds me that it is Lovely To Be Beloved)
-------
‘The Reason Why We Obey Anointed Spiritual Leaders.’
Hebrews 13:17.
a)     We are to obey them.
b)     We are to submit to them.
c)     They should be keeping watch over our souls. (As well as their own)
d)    They will give an account to God for their ministry.
e)     They should give an account with Joy and not with grief.
f)       If they grieve about us it will not be expedient for us.
(This Second one clearly teaches me The Reason Why We Obey Anointed Spiritual Leaders)
-------
Chris.
Beloved children! All babies born have a right to grow up as beloved children. The sad fact is that this does not always happen. Some parents in poverty see their children as a nuisance and a` challenge. Some parents who have more than one child choose one of their children in preference to another. Some parents neglect their children and some parents scream at their children or hit them around. The sad facts do not remove the Truth that God wants all children to grow up as Beloved children.

The Christian Life!

'The Christian Life.' a)  Deuteronomy 7:11. Keep the Word of  God. b)  Deuteronomy  7:12. Listen to the Word of God. c)  Deuteronomy...
