Apostle Paul's Pure Ministry

‘Apostle Paul’s Pure Ministry.’

a)   Colossians 1:28-29. His vision was simple:-

1-   2 Corinthians 8:9. Proclaim Christ. (Especially the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you, through His poverty, might become rich)

2-   Warn every person.

3-   Teach every person with all Wisdom.

4-   To present every True Believer mature in Christ.

5-   Toiling with his God given energy.

b)    2 Corinthians 11:28. He had daily pressure because of his Love for the Church.

c)    Galatians 6:14. He Gloried only in the Cross.

d)    2 Corinthians 1:10. He set his Hope in God.

e)    Philippians 3:10-11. He wanted to:-

1-   Know the Lord truly.

2-   Know the Power of the Lord’s Resurrection.

3-   Share in the Lord’s sufferings.

4-   Become like the Lord in His Death and His Resurrection.

f)     2 Corinthians 12:14-15. He was a real “Spiritual father”.

g)    1 Thessalonians 2:19-20. The Church was his:-

1-   Hope.

2-   Joy.

3-   Glory.

h)    Philippians 4:1. He loved the Church Brothers and Sisters and wanted them to stand firm in the Lord.

i)     1 Corinthians 3:5-7; Philippians 1:1. He simply served as the Lord wanted him to serve.

j)      Ephesians 3:7; 1 Corinthians 15:10. God’s Grace, working by God’s Power, made Paul a Minister of the Gospel, he was not self appointed.

k)    Romans 16:25. His Preaching of the Gospel strengthened people.

l)      Ephesians 3:8. God’s Grace was given to him to Preach the unsearchable riches of Christ.

m)  Acts 20:20. He taught the Word of God both publically and privately.

n)    2 Thessalonians 3:1; Colossians 4:3-4. He valued the Prayers of the Church for his Ministry.

(This one teaches me lessons I can learn from Apostle Paul’s Pure Ministry)

Chris.

The Joy of the Lord is our Strength, this fact is brought to us through the Word of God. If we do not have Joy in our hearts as we follow Jesus Christ, we become weak Believers. The Church itself gave to Apostle Paul Joy. That is so wonderful. Joy itself is not some manifesting hilarious experience but, rather it is something deep and maintained in our hearts as we simply follow the Lord. The Joy of the Lord has nothing to do with the “charismatic laughter” movement, which was a mockery of the True Church.

----------------------

Chris.

To be humble is one of the basic requisites that the Lord has of us. Pride blocks everything and God hates pride. It is pointless to pray asking the Lord to make us humble, it is prayer that God will never answer. He has already given us the answer in His Word. We are to humble ourselves.

c) Mark 11:24. As we pray.

-----------------------------------

Chris.

There are people, whom God says, do know wrong. The reason that God classifies them in such a way is that they walked in the Lord's Ways. David was such a person, we know, because the Bible records it, that David sinned, yet God gave him so much credibility. The condition of the heart has much to do with it. Even the people with the purest motivation in their hearts sometimes sin. Yet, if they, like David did, deal with their sins, God will give them credibility.
