Do Not Follow Esau!

'Do Not Follow Esau.'

Hebrews 12:16.

a)  Lest thee be any fornicator,

b)  Or profane person,

c)  As Esau,

d)  Who for one mess of meal sold his own birth right.

(This QT urges me: Do Not Follow Esau)

PRAY: Not to follow the way of Esau.

-------------

'A Finished Work.'

Genesis 2:1.

a)  And the heavens

b)  And the Earth

c)  Were finished,

d)  And all the host of them.

(Through this Second one i find A Finished Work)

PRAY: To finish the Work that God may give to us.

--------------

Chris.

It is always good to finish the work that God may give to us. It is not glorifying to Him to give up half way through. Some Christians' lives are full of unfinished and neglected tasks that have been abandoned. This really is not a good testimony. There should be no excuses, we should clearly finish the work that God may give to us.

Cry Out To The Lord!

'Cry Out To The Lord.'

Psalm 34:6.

a)  This poor man cried,

b)  And the Lord heard him

c)  And saved him

d)  Out of all his troubles.

(This QT urges me to Cry Out To The Lord)

PRAY: Crying out to the Lord.

------------

'Rejoice In The Day Of Deliverance.'

2 Samuel 22:1.

a)  And David spoke to the Lord

b)  The words of this song

c)  On the day when the Lord delivered him

d)  From the hand of all his enemies,

e)  And from the hand of Saul.

(This Second one reminds me to Rejoice In The Day Of Deliverance)

PRAY: To respond to the Lord well In The Day Of Deliverance.

------------

Chris.

There is so much for us to learn when we read the historical books of the Old Testament! We find in this Second one a very positive and healthy response, the response of King David on the Day when the Lord delivered him. Whatever kind of deliverance that the Lord may give to us, it is always good to respond to it positively and with rejoicing. Sometimes, the Lord delivers us by sending us away somewhere, even by flight, as in the picture!

Immortal God!

'Immortal God.'

1 Timothy 6:16.

a)  He alone is immortal

b)  And dwells in unapproachable light,

c)  Whom no one has ever seen or can see.

d)  To Him be Honour and Eternal Dominion. Amen.

(This QT reveals to me Immortal God)

PRAY: For a good and pure Faith in God.

-----------

'Truly An Apostle.'

2 Timothy 1:1.

a)  Paul, an Apostle of Jesus Christ,

b)  By the Will of God

c)  According to the Promise

d)  Of Life in Christ Jesus.

(This Second one teaches me that Paul was Truly An Apostle)

PRAY: For Apostolic Ministry to be restored to the Churches today.

-----------

Chris.

There are all sorts of "ministers" going around, calling themselves by all sorts of names, that are not appointed by God. When a person is called by God, fruit of Christian character and gifting go together and flow together. The fruit should always be there.

See To It!

'See To It.'

Hebrews 12:15.

a)  See to it that no-one fails to obtain the Grace of God,

b)  That no root of bitterness springs up and causes trouble,

c)  And by it many become defiled.

(This QT encourages me to see to it)

PRAY: Rejecting any and every root of bitterness.

----------

'Now Is The Time.'

2 Corinthians 6:2.

a)  For He (God) says:

b)  "In an acceptable time I have heard you,

c)  "And in the Day of Salvation I have helped you."

d)  Behold, now is the accepted time;

e)  Now is the Day of Salvation.

(This Second one reminds me that Now Is The Time)

PRAY: To act in God's Time and not to procrastinate.

----------

Chris.

God always helps us at the right time. This is another reason why we can trust Him. Sometimes we think that He has not heard our prayer, or that His timing is wrong, that kind of thinking is our mistake. Let us pay heed to what God says, rather than following our own thoughts. God is never wrong! Sometimes our thoughts are wrong!

Look To The Lord!

 'Look To The Lord!'

Psalm 34:5.

a)  Those who look to Him are radiant;

b)  Their faces

c)  Are never covered with shame.

(This QT encourages me to Look To The Lord)

PRAY: Looking to the Lord.

---------

'Fearless Proclamation.'

Psalm 71:24.

a)  My tongue also shall talk of Your Righteousness

b)  All the day long;

c)  For they are confounded,

d)  For they are brought to shame

e)  Who seek my hurt.

(Through this Second one I find a Fearless Proclamation)

PRAY: For boldness to make a Fearless Proclamation.

---------

Chris.

The Psalmists were often exercised in praising and praying in a positive way. Here is a great lesson for us. Too often the Church is silent when "everything is going well" and only really turns to prayers when facing difficult times. This response is akin to humanism! We need to learn from the Psalmists and in every environment both Praise the Lord and Pray to Him.

God Is The One!

'God Is The One.'

1 Timothy 6:15.

a)  At the right time

b)  God will make this known.

c)  God is the Blessed and only Ruler,

d)  The King of kings

e)  And Lord of lords.

(This QT reminds me that God is the One)

PRAY: To trust in God.

--------

'Do We Bother To Help?'

1 John 3:17.

a)  Now,

b)  Suppose a person has enough to live on

c)  And notices another Believer in need.

d)  How can God's Love be in that person

e)  If he does not bother to help the other Believer?

(This Second one challenges me: Do We Bother To Help?)

PRAY: To be sensitive and compassionate.

--------

Chris.

Do we look at Christ simply as an ideal, or as a personal Lord and Saviour? It is vitally important for our "Faith Life" that we know Him as our Lord and Saviour. The life-changing power of the Gospel takes place in our lives only after we receive Christ Jesus as our personal Lord and Saviour. The challenge of the Gospel is to know Him, not know about Him.

Peace And Holiness!

'Peace And Holiness.'

Hebrews 12:14.

a)  Pursue peace with all people,

b)  And holiness,

c)  Without which no one will see the Lord.

(This QT encourages me to pursue Peace And Holiness)

PRAY: For a life of Peace and Holiness.

-------

'Peace And Mutual Upbuilding.'

Romans 14:19.

a)  So then let us pursue

b)  What makes for Peace

c)  And for Mutual Upbuilding.

(This Second one gives me a desire to live in an environment of Peace And Mutual Upbuilding)

PRAY: To find Peace and Mutual Upbuilding.

-------

Chris.

This QT should stimulate Holy Action. We are called to pursue, "pursue" is a very active word. it is something that needs to be done and not just looked at. Pursue what makes for Peace. There are so many people making trouble in the World today, both Christians and non-believers! We are called to be "peacemakers" and not "troublemakers".

A Real Deliverance!

'A Real Deliverance.'

Psalm 34:4.

a)  I sought the Lord,

b)  And He answered me;

c)  And delivered me from all my fears.

(This QT teaches me A Real Deliverance)

PRAY: For A Real Deliverance if you need one.

------

'A Privilege For The Righteous.'

Psalm 34:17.

a)  The Righteous cry out,

b)  And the Lord hears;

c)  He delivers them from all their troubles.

(This Second one teaches me A Privilege For The Righteous)

PRAY: For deliverance from all troubles.

------

Chris.

The Bible is full of wonderful Promises for the Righteous People. There is only one way to be made Righteous, it is through the Blood of Jesus Christ. There is no other form of righteousness that is acceptable in God's Sight! One of the activities that Righteous People can participate in is crying out to the Lord. His Ears are open to their cry.

Keep The New Testament Commandment!

'Keep The New Testament Commandment.'

1 Timothy 6:14.

a)  That you keep this Commandment

b)  Without spot,

c)  Blameless

d)  Until our Lord Jesus Christ's appearing.

(This QT calls me to Keep The New Testament Commandment)

PRAY: To live a Blameless life before the Lord.

-----

'Ready To Serve The Living God.'

Hebrews 9:14.

a)  How much more shall the Blood of Christ,

b)  Who through the Eternal Spirit

c)  Offered Himself without spot to God,

d)  Purge your conscience from dead works

e)  To serve the Living God?

(Through this Second one I know that I should be Ready To Serve The Living God)

PRAY: To be Ready To Serve The Living God.

-----

Chris.

The Book of Hebrews contains many lessons for us about the Lord Jesus Christ. I have heard some people say that it is difficult for them to read the Book of Hebrews, I suggest that they lay down their prejudices and preconceived ideas and enjoy the Book of Hebrews for what it is - a Blessed part of the Word of God.

Joy, Peace And Hope!

'Joy, Peace And Hope.'

Romans 15:13.

a)  Now may the God of Hope

b)  Fill you with all Joy and Peace in Believing,

c)  That you may abound in Hope

d)  By the Power of the Holy Spirit.

(This QT assures me that God wants His People to have Joy, Peace and Hope)

PRAY: To have Joy, Peace and Hope.

----

'Be Filled With Holy Spirit.'

Ephesians 5:18-19.

a)  And do not be drunk with wine,

b)  In which is dissipation;

c)  But be filled with the (Holy) Spirit,

d)  Speaking to one another in:

1-Psalms.

2-Hymns.

3-Spiritual Songs.

e)  Singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.

(This Second one calls me to Be Filled With Holy Spirit)

PRAY: To be filled with Holy Spirit.

----

Chris.

"Be filled with the Holy Spirit" is a Biblical exhortation. These are not just the words of a "Charismatic" or "Pentecostal" dogma - they are the Words of Scripture. It is a privilege for every True Believer to live a life being filled with the Holy Spirit. Jesus said that if we are thirsty, we can come to Him and rivers of living water will flow out of our lives. He was referring to the Holy Spirit.

Magnify The Lord!

'Magnify The Lord!'

Psalm 34:3.

a)  Oh magnify the Lord with me,

b)  And let us

c)  Exalt His Name together.

(This QT reminds me to Magnify The Lord)

PRAY: To remember to Magnify the Lord.

---

'Soul And Spirit.'

Luke 1:46-47.

a)  And Mary said:

b)  "My soul doth magnify the Lord,

c)  "And my spirit hath rejoiced

d)  "In God my Saviour.

(This Second one reveals to me the exercise of Soul And Spirit)

PRAY: For our soul and spirit to be in good condition.

---

Chris.

We should consider the condition of our "inner man" at all times! Here, Mary sets us a very good example, her soul was magnifying the Lord and her spirit was rejoicing in God her Saviour. If we are True Believers it means that we want to have quality time with God. (Preferably every day.) If we do this we can maintain the good condition of our "inner man" whatever our circumstances may be.

Sometimes We Need To Be Urged!

'Sometimes We Need To Be Urged.'

1 Timothy 6:13.

a)  I urge you in the sight of God

b)  Who gives life to all things,

c)  And before Christ Jesus

d)  Who witnessed the good confession

e)  Before Pontius Pilate.

(This QT reminds me that Sometimes We Need To Be Urged)

PRAY: To be submissive when the Lord urges us.

-----------------------------

'A New Testament Gospel Message.'

Acts 17:3.

a)  Explaining and proving that it was necessary for the Christ to suffer

b)  And to rise from the dead,

c)  And saying:

d)  "This Jesus, Whom I proclaim to you, is the Christ."

(This Second one presents A New Testament Gospel Message)

-----------------------------

Chris.

The Way that people who do not yet know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour can be saved is primarily through hearing A New Testament Gospel Message. Surprisingly, this kind of 'Way' is becoming less frequently included in Church programs today. If the Church is going to fulfil 'The Great Commission' it needs to get back to the proclamation of the Gospel Message on a regular basis.

All The People Were Going To Him!

'All The People Were Going To Him.'

John 3:26.

a)  And they came to John and said to him,

b)  "Rabbi, He Who was with you across the Jordan,

c)  "To Whom you bore witness -

d)  "Look, He is baptising

e)  "And all are going to Him."

(Through this QT I find that All The People Were Going To Him)

PRAY: Coming to Jesus.

-----------------------------

'God's Promises Should Make Us Pure.'

2 Corinthians 7:1.

a)  Since we have these promises, beloved,

b)  Let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit,

c)  Bringing Holiness to completion

d)  In the Fear of God.

(This Second one teaches me that God's Promises Should Make Us Pure)

PRAY: To be cleansed from all defilement.

------------------------------

Chris.

God's Promises should make us pure. If we really believe in the Promises of God and take them seriously, then surely we should want to be clean from anything that would defile our lives. I remember, years ago, a well-known preacher said: "God's Grace is free, but it is not cheap".

Let The Humble Hear!

'Let The Humble Hear!'

Psalm 34:2.

a)  My soul makes its boast in the Lord;

b)  Let the humble hear

c)  And be glad.

(This QT encourages me to Let The Humble Hear)

PRAY: For humble people to be able to hear the Good News.

----------------------------

'What Is Faith?

Hebrews 11:1.

a)  Now Faith

b)  Is the assurance of things hoped for,

c)  The conviction of things not seen.

(This Second one clearly answers my question - What Is Faith?)

PRAY: To have a real and practical Faith.

----------------------------

Chris.

There are many misleading ideas about Faith. There is no need for us to follow any of those ideas. We simply need to have a Biblical Faith. This Faith, based on what God says, will always be a sure foundation for our Christian Life.

Fight The Good Fight!

'Fight The Good Fight.'

1 Timothy 6:12.

a)  Fight the good fight of the Faith.

b)  Take hold of the Eternal Life to which you were called

c)  And about which you made the good confession

d)  In the presence of many witnesses.

(This QT encourages me to Fight The Good Fight)

PRAY: For spiritual strength to Fight The Good Fight.

---------------------------

'God Has Not Forgotten Us.'

1 Peter 5:10.

a)  And after you have suffered a little while,

b)  The God of all grace,

c)  Who has called you to His Eternal Glory in Christ,

d)  Will Himself:

1-Restore you.

2-Confirm you.

3-Strengthen you.

4-Establish you.

(This Second one reminds me that God Has Not Forgotten Us)

PRAY: Thanking God that He Has Not Forgotten You (and Us).

-----------------------------

Chris.

Something that really gives us assurance and encourages our Faith is that God Himself has called us to His Eternal Glory in Christ. Yes, our life is about the "here and now", but that is not the end of the story! We all, as True Believers, have different lives to live and ministries with which to serve and yet, there is the Promise of a Glorious Future in Christ in the end.

Faith Without Doubt Is Remarkable!

 'Faith Without Doubt Is Remarkable.'

Matthew 21:21.

a)  Jesus replied:

b)  "Truly I tell you, if you have Faith and do not doubt,

c)  "Not only can you do what was done to the fig tree,

d)  "But also you can say to this mountain:

e)  " 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,'

f)  "And it will be done."

(This QT teaches me that Faith Without Doubt Is Remarkable)

PRAY: For Faith Without Doubt when we need it.

--------------------

'A Fruitful Process.'

Romans 15:13.

a)  Now may the God of Hope

b)  Fill you with all Joy and Peace in believing,

c)  That you may abound in hope

d)  By the power of the Holy Spirit.

(Through this Second one I find A Fruitful Process)

PRAY: For God to fill us with Joy and Peace.

---------------------

Chris.

God is the God of Hope. The Bible tells us to "Hope in God"! We may face various situations in our life that make us think like this: 'It is hopeless', but that is not true. If we have God, He is the God of Hope. We are to first put our hope in Him, if we do this, then we can experience Restoration.

A Life Of Praising!

 'A Life Of Praising.'

Psalm 34:1.

a)  I will extol the Lord

b)  At all times;

c)  His Praise

d)  Will always be on my lips.

(This QT teaches me about A Life Of Praising)

PRAY: To have more of A Life Of Praising.

------------------

'Giving Thanks To God.'

Ephesians 5:20.

a)  Always giving thanks to God the Father

b)  For everything,

c)  In the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(This Second one reminds me to be Giving Thanks To God)

PRAY: With Thanksgiving to God.

------------------

Chris.

Giving Thanks to God is a necessary part of our relationship with Him that should flow from our hearts. Too many Believers miss out in their relationship with God because they have a heart of blame towards Him. It is all part of a simple choice; do we blame God or give thanks to Him? Circumstances do not really have much to do with it.

A Message For Men Of God!

'A Message For Men Of God.'

1 Timothy 6:11.

a)  But you, O Man of God,

b)  Flee these things and pursue:

1-Righteousness.

2-Godliness.

3-Faith.

4-Love.

5-Patience.

6-Gentleness.

(This QT is a Message for men of God)

PRAY: For the men of God in the Churches.

----------------

'These Things.'

a)  Matthew 1:20. Are sometimes thought about.

b)  Matthew 4:9. May be a temptation from Satan.

c)  Matthew 6:33. But seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

d)  Luke 2:19. But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart.

e)  Luke 13:17. These things, spoken by the Lord Jesus, put His enemies to shame.

(This Second one makes me want to discern These Things)

PRAY: That the Lord Jesus will put our enemies to shame.

----------------

Chris.

We are clearly told by the Lord Jesus Christ to seek first the Kingdom of God. This Kingdom is one of: Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit. It surely means that, as we seek God's Kingdom we are going to be become spiritually stronger and become better Believers.

The Love Of Money!

 'The Love Of Money.'

1 Timothy 6:10.

a)  For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.

b)  And some people,

c)  Craving money,

d)  Have wandered from the True Faith

e)  And pierced themselves with many sorrows.

(Through this QT I want to live free from The Love Of Money)

PRAY: To reject The Love Of Money from our lives.

---------------

'A Hidden Treasure.'

Psalm 119:11.

a)  Your Word

b)  Have I treasured in my heart,

c)  That I may not sin against You.

(Through this Second one I am thankful for A Hidden Treasure)

PRAY: To receive this Hidden Treasure and to treasure it in our hearts/

-----------------

Chris.

When we learn to treasure the Word of God in our hearts, we are stepping on towards Christian maturity. It is not a matter of how much we read the Bible, it is more to do with what do we do with what we read of the Bible. I respect all manner of Bible Reading plans and disciplines but the goal must be, at the end of our time with God, are we hiding His Word in our hearts?

A Result Of Hope In The Lord!

'A Result Of Hope In The Lord.'

Psalm 33:22.

a)  May Your Unfailing Love be with us,

b)  Lord,

c)  Even as we put our Hope in You.

(This QT shows me A Result Of Hope In The Lord)

PRAY: To Hope in the Lord.

--------------

'You Have Given Me Hope.'

Psalm 119:49.

a)  Remember Your Word to Your servant,

b)  For You

c)  Have given me Hope.

(This Second one reminds me that Hope can be a Gift From God)

PRAY: Thanking God for Hope that is a Gift from Him.

--------------

Chris.

God surely delights in giving Hope to His People - He is a God of Hope! When we have a simple Hope in the Lord, we also can have the assurance that He is the One Who gives that Hope. Being hopeless, or feeling hopelessness are not gifts from God. We need to overcome those things, then we can ask God to restore our Hope.

Obey Until The End!

 'Obey Until The End!'

1 Timothy 6:13-14.

a)  I charge you in the Presence of God, Who gives Life to all things,

b)  And of Christ Jesus,

c)  Who in His Testimony before Pontius Pilate

d)  Made the Good Confession,

e)  To keep the Commandment unstained

f)  And free from reproach

g)  Until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(This QT urges me to Obey Until The End)

PRAY: For a heart and will to obey the Lord.

-------------

'This Is The Judgment.'

John 3:19.

a)  And this is the Judgment,

b)  That the Light has come into the World

c)  And people loved the darkness rather than the Light

d)  Because their works were evil.

(This Second one is very clear to me: This Is The Judgment)

PRAY: To love the Light (the Lord Jesus Christ), it is simply responding to His Love for us.

-------------

Chris.

There are many opinions and sermons about 'God's Judgment' (or simply just about Judgment - both human and Divine). The primary Judgment that mankind will need to face is how they have responded to the Light (the Lord Jesus Christ). The Bible tells us that God loves all the World, it is His Will that none should perish. This means that both preaching the Gospel and the responses of those who may hear it are both important.

Another Lesson From Bible Days!

'A Lesson From Bible Days.'

1 Timothy 6:9.

a)  But they that desire to be rich

b)  Fall into temptation and a snare,

c)  And into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.

(This QT reveals to me A Lesson From Bible Days)

PRAY: To learn well from God's Word.

------------

'Be Content.'

1 Timothy 6:6.

a)  But godliness

b)  With contentment

c)  Is great gain.

(This Second one urges me to Be Content)

PRAY: To be content.

------------

Chris.

The exhortation to 'be content' is both practical and Biblical. People who are not content have many unnecessary struggle in their lives. Are we living with contentment? If not, what are we going to do about it? I am sure that God wants every True Believer to have contentment. Godliness comes first and then contentment is sure to follow.

Do Not Be Slaves Of Human Beings!

'Do Not Be Slaves Of Human Beings.'

1 Corinthians 7:21-23.

a)  Were you a slave when you were called?

b)  Don't let it trouble you.

c)  Although, if you can gain your freedom, do so.

d)  For the one who was a slave when called to the Lord is the Lord's free person;

e)  Similarly, the one who was free when called is Christ's slave.

f)  You were bought at a price;

g)  Do not become slaves of human beings.

(This QT exhorts me: Do Not Become A Slave Of Human Beings)

PRAY: To live as a free person in the Lord.

-----------

'Good News But An Old Story.'

Acts 13:32.

a)  We tell you

b)  The Good News:

c)  What God promised our ancestors.

(This Second one reveals Good News But An Old Story)

PRAY: To believe the Good News of the Gospel

-----------

Chris.

The Gospel is Good News but an old story. It is a message that is both ageless and changeless. This Gospel, if we believe it, brings us into fellowship with God through Jesus Christ. Nothing is changed... the Gospel is the Power of God unto Salvation for all people who Believe it. This is another reason why we are told: "Go into all the World and Preach the Gospel.

A Lesson From Bible Days!

A Lesson From Bible Days.'

1 Timothy 6:9.

a)  But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare,

b)  And into many foolish and hurtful lusts,

c)  Which drown men in destruction and perdition.

(This QT teaches me A Lesson From Bible Days)

PRAY: To learn this lesson from Bible Days.

-----------

'A Lovely Introduction.'

Jude 1:1.

a)  Jude a servant of Jesus Christ

b)  And a brother of James,

c)  To those who have been called,

d)  Who are loved in God the Father

e)  And kept for Jesus Christ.

(Through this Second one I find A Lovely Introduction)

PRAY: For Wisdom when sharing God's Words with other people.

---------------------------

Chris.

When we are Servants of Jesus Christ, especially as Leaders and Pastors, we need to keep our lives and our doctrine clean. These are two areas, among others, where Christian Leaders come under temptation. We do not have to enter any 'contest'. rather we are to humbly serve the Lord. The Bible does encourage us to keep looking to Jesus Christ our Lord as also our Example.

God Does Not Like Wickedness!

'God Does Not Like Wickedness!'

Romans 1:18.

a)  The Wrath of God is being revealed from Heaven

b)  Against all the godlessness and wickedness of people,

c)  Who suppress the Truth

d)  By their wickedness.

(This QT clearly teaches me that God Does Not Like Wickedness)

PRAY: For any wickedness to go away from your home environment. street and district/

----------

'Peter Wrote To People Who Had Received Faith.'

2 Peter 1:1

a)  Simon Peter, a Servant and Apostle of Jesus Christ,

b)  To those who through the Righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ

c)  Have received a Faith as precious as ours.

(Through this Second one I understand that Peter Wrote To People Who Had Received Faith)

PRAY: For the people of Faith who may live in your vicinity.

----------

Chris.

It is very clear from this one verse of the Scripture that Apostle Peter was writing to those people who were True Believers. Not only did he write about just "receiving Jesus", He wrote about a Faith to be received because of the Righteousness Of Our God and Saviour Jesus Christ. Precious Faith is really a unique Gift given to us by Jesus Christ. We can then "feed" that Faith by developing a good pattern of daily devotion through Bible Reading and Prayer.

The Reason For A Glad Heart!

'The Reason For A Glad Heart!'

Psalm 33:21.

a)  For our heart

b)  Is glad in Him,

c)  Because we trust in His Holy Name.

(This QT teaches me The Reason For A Glad Heart)

PRAY: To Trust in the Holy Name of the Lord.

---------

'Those People Who Can Truly Rejoice.'

Psalm 9:14.

a)  That I may recount all Your praises,

b)  That in the gates of the Daughter of Zion

c)  I may rejoice in Your Salvation.

(This Second one reveals to me Those People Who Can Truly Rejoice)

PRAY: To be able to Rejoice in The Lord's Salvation.

---------

Chris.

The Psalmist here teaches us a very good lesson! If we are to truly rejoice in God's Salvation, we should recount the Actions of and Blessings from God. The picture here is of a very wet, muddy and flooded pathway. Some people live out their lives on that kind of pathway spiritually! This QT is simply about trusting the Lord and returning to Him.

God's Ways And Thoughts!

'God's Ways And Thoughts.'

Isaiah 55:9.

Chris.

This is a great Promise and Understanding of our God! He is Able to Keep Our Purposes and Thoughts. He is the One Who directs our hearts toward Himself. His Ways are also very different from our ways. We should not attempt to direct God or manipulate Him.

-------

Chris.

The Holy Spirit enlightens our understanding of God's Word. If we are going to maintain our Spiritual Life in God then we need to read and to ponder the Word of God. Some Christians do not grow well spiritually because they treat the Word of God too lightly. The facts are that God always wants to speak to us from His Word and that He wants us to hide His Word in our hearts.

Firstly and foremost, He has delivered us from death and given to us Eternal Life. This is a wonderful Gift and Miracle. As we read above, He is the Health of our countenance, that is amazing. It means that the New Life that He gives to us show in our lives from day-to-day.

PRAY: Thanking God that He is Amazing and Personal.
----
Chris.
If we are really True Believers in the Lord then we will want to be "in tune" with His Thoughts and Ways! The only way in which we can do this is to have a real and personal Prayer life! Our thoughts may be good and noble, even Biblical sometimes, but are we really also in tune with His Thoughts. There is a liberating Presence that comes to us through the Lord's Thoughts and Ways.

Do Not Be Ashamed Of The Gospel!

'Do Not Be Ashamed Of The Gospel!'
Romans 1:16.

b)  For it is the Power of God for Salvation

a)  God,
b)  Having raised up His Servant,

d)  To Bless you
e)  By turning every one of you
f)  From your wickedness.
(This Second one reveals to me A Very Special Blessing)
PRAY: To humbly receive A Very Special Blessing.
---
Chris.
We True Believers have no reason to be ashamed of the Gospel. Neither should we be proud of the Gospel! We should be able to share the Gospel in various forms to those people who need to hear it. The Gospel is the Power of God for Salvation to everyone who believes it. A humble attitude in sharing the Gospel is really the way, following the example of Christ.

(Through this Second one I find A Very Real Rescue)
PRAY: For those in need of A Very Real Rescue whom you may know.
----------------------------
Chris.
The Church has been given Authority by the Lord to Pray. One of the greatest needs of the World-wide Church in these days is deliverance in many of its forms. The relevance of the Church has definitely diminished in the past few years in many parts of the World. It is time for a return to Prayer which will surely bring a pure and powerful deliverance to the Churches.

(This Second one makes me pursue Peace And Edification)
PRAY: To pursue Peace And Edification.
---------------------------
Chris.
If we are True Believers, we will surely have a desire for Peace and Holiness. Without Peace and Holiness, the reality of personal Spiritual Life is very remote. This has nothing to do with our "ministry", it is to do with our life before the Lord. I am convinced that it is God's Will for His People to live in Peace. If we live in Peace then we are able to edify one another. Further, we can also live in Holiness and enjoy good fellowship.

The Christian Life!

'The Christian Life.' a)  Deuteronomy 7:11. Keep the Word of  God. b)  Deuteronomy  7:12. Listen to the Word of God. c)  Deuteronomy...
