God Always Wins!

‘God Always Wins.’
Acts 1:18.
a)   Judas betrayed Jesus Christ.
b)   Judas used the money that he was given for the betrayal to buy a field.
c)    He fell to his death in that field.
d)   He burst open and his insides burst out. (This was the fulfilment of a prophecy given about him)
(This QT reminds me: God Always Wins)
------
‘When The Godless City Falls.’
Isaiah 13:22.
a)   From the towers and palaces will come the sound of echoes from the:-
1-  Hyenas.
2-  Jackals.
3-  Widows.
b)   Because the city’s time has come.
c)    Her days are almost over.
d)   Her days shall not be prolonged.
(This Second one shows me what happens When The Godless City Falls)
------
Chris.
Judas suffered an awful death, just like it was prophesied that he would do. There are so many prophecies in the Bible, many have been fulfilled and some not yet. Some people complain that they cannot read the Bible because they cannot understand it. In many languages today there are different versions of the Bible to read, or even listen to. We should get a version that is appropriate for us.

God's Loving Vow!

‘God’s Loving Vow.’
Hebrews 6:16-17.
a)   When a person makes a vow, he uses the name of someone greater than himself.
b)   This vow settles all arguments.
c)    To those people who were to receive what God Promised, He wanted to make it very clear.
d)   God would never change His Purpose, so He added His Vow to His Promise.
(This QT gives me assurance: God’s Loving Vow)
--------------
‘Helplessness.’
a)  Psalm 44:19. Sometimes God lets us feel helpless in order that we might realise our need of Him.
b)   Deuteronomy 32:26; Psalm 116:6; Isaiah 11:4. When God sees how helpless we are He has Mercy upon us.
c)    2 Chronicles 20:12; Psalm 34:6; Isaiah 25:4. At times of helplessness we need to look to God for help.
d)   Nehemiah 5:5. We become helpless when we lose everything.
e)   Job 14:1. We are all born weak and helpless.
f)     Psalm 74:19. Persecuted people may feel helpless.
g)   Psalm 86:1. Helpless people need to Pray.
h)   Proverbs 31:8. We should protect the rights of the helpless people.
i)     Matthew 9:36. Christ saw the multitude as being worried and helpless.
(Through this Second one I thank God Who aids me at my times of Helplessness)
--------------
Chris.
Sometimes God lets us feel helpless in order that we might realise our need of Him. There are seasons in all of our lives when life becomes a struggle, most of us do not want other people to know about our struggles, we do not want to bother them. It is in those times of helplessness that we first need to turn to God, not other people first but God first. Then we can begin to find help. When we only turn to other people we tend to become dependent upon them and that is not beneficial for any of us.

Are We God's Vineyard Today?

‘Are We God’s Vineyard Today?’
Isaiah 5:1-7.
a)   Isaiah 5:1. This is a song about a beloved friend who has a vineyard. (I suggest the Lord is the Beloved Friend) He planted His vineyard on a fruitful hill.
b)   Isaiah 5:2. He worked very hard in His vineyard:-
1-  He dug the soil.
2-  He cleared it of stones.
3-  He planted the finest vines.
4-  He built a tower to guard them.
5-  He dug a pit for treading the grapes.
c)    Isaiah 5:2. He waited for the grapes to ripen but every grape was sour.
d)   Isaiah 5:3. He called the people of Jerusalem and Judea to judge between Him and His vineyard.
e)   Isaiah 5:4. He did everything possible for His vineyard but it still produced sour grapes and not good ones.
f)     Isaiah 5:5-6. He made a plan to completely destroy the vineyard.
g)   Isaiah 5:7. God’s People were the vineyard of the Lord Almighty.
h)   Isaiah 5:7. God expected them to do good but instead they committed murder.
i)     Numbers 5:7. He expected them to do what was correct but instead their victims cried out for Justice.
(This QT causes me to ask: Am I God’s Vineyard Today?)
-------------
‘The Manifestation Of Sadness And Loneliness.’
Job 30:29.
a)   My voice is sad and lonely.
b)   Like the cries of a jackal.
c)    Like the sound of an ostrich.
d)   Sadness and loneliness rob us of Joy.
(This Second one shows me The Manifestation Of Sadness And Loneliness)
-------------
Chris.
All normal people go through some time in their lives when they are sad or lonely sometimes they suffer both at the same time. These things are difficult to disguise, even though we do not want other people to know about our difficulties. As we read in this verse, they can even affect our voice.

Up On The Mountain With Jesus!

‘Up On The Mountain With Jesus.’

b)     Mark 9:2. Six days later Jesus took Peter, James and John up a high mountain. They were alone.
c)     Mark 9:2. As the three Disciples looked on, Jesus was transfigured before them.
d)     Mark 9:3. The clothes of Jesus became shining and exceedingly white.
e)     Mark 9:4. The three Disciples saw Elijah and Moses talking with Jesus.
f)      Mark 9:5. Peter spoke up. He did not really know what to say but he made a suggestion.
g)     Mark 9:5. Peter said to Jesus how good it was to be there and that he and the other Disciples wanted to make three tents, one for Jesus, one for Elijah and one for Moses.
h)     Mark 9:6. It is because the Disciples were frightened and did not know what to say.
i)      Mark 9:7. Then a cloud appeared and covered them with its shadow.
j)      Mark 9:7. God spoke from the cloud, He told the Disciples that Jesus was His Own dear Son and that they were to listen to Him.
(This QT shows me what happened Up On The Mountain With Jesus)
------------
‘Worship And Praise God.’
Romans 1:25.
a)     They changed the Truth about God into falsehood.
b)     They worshipped and served what God had Created instead of the Creator Himself.
c)     The Creator is forever to be:-
1-    Praised.
2-    Blessed.
3-    Worshipped.
(This Second one encourages me to Worship And Praise God)
------------
Chris.
The big mistake that many people make is to worship and serve what God has created instead of Worshipping God Himself. I can really understand this because God has made some very wonderful things and it seems natural to worship these things. All these things have a Creator however and that is God Himself. Let us Worship God in spirit and in Truth.

God's Vow And Promise!

‘God’s Vow And Promise.’

(The QT teaches me about the dependability of God’s Vow And Promise)
-----------
‘Faith And Actions Go Together.’
James 2:17-19.
a)     James 2:17. If Faith is alone and includes no actions it is dead.
b)     James 2:18. Some people say that one person has Faith and another person has actions.
c)     James 2:18. James answers that he wants to be shown how anyone can have Faith without actions.
d)     James 2:18. James would show his Faith by his actions.
e)     James 2:19. Do we Believe that there is only One God? That is good! The demons also Believe and tremble with fear.
(This Second one reminds me that Faith And Actions Go Together)
-----------
Chris.
Abraham was patient so he received what God had Promised. In Abraham’s situation his action that went along with his Faith was patience. It is with Faith and patience that we inherit the Promises of God. It is really important for us to remember this principle of God’s Word, that Faith and actions go together.

f)      Isaiah 4:6. There will be a time of:-
1-    Comfort.
2-    Safety.
3-    Shelter.
(Through this QT I am in awe of God’s Covering Glory)
----------
‘God So Loved.’
John 3:16.
a)     God so Loved the World.
b)     That He gave His only Son.
c)     So that everyone who Believes in Him.
d)     Should not perish.
e)     But have everlasting Eternal Life.
(Through this Second one I am so grateful that God So Loved Me)
----------
Chris.
If we are True Believers there are future times to look forward to, even though we may be going through a difficult time now. There will be times of Comfort which Father God may send in different ways. There will be times of Safety, even if we are living in a very unsafe environment now. There will also be Shelter whilst the storms in life pass by.

----------
‘The Purpose Of Instruction To The Church.’
1 Timothy 1:5.
a)   The Purpose of this Order.
b)   The Goal of this Instruction.
c)    Is to arouse the Love that flows from:-
1-A pure heart.
2-A clear conscience.
3-A sincere Faith.
(Through this Second one I find The Purpose Of Instruction To The Church)
----------
Chris.
Instruction, Teaching and Bible Study in the Church is never given just to pass on information. It is not given to exercise our intellect! This kind of instruction is given to the Church so that the individual members of the Church, and the Church as a Body, can grow and mature in their walk with the Lord.

God Has Promised!

‘God Has Promised.’
Hebrews 6:12.
a)   We should not become lazy and slow in heart.
b)   We should be those people who Believe.
c)    We should be those people who are patient.
d)   Then we can receive what God has promised.
(This QT encourages me: God Has Promised)
---------
‘Love In Our Ministry.’
1 Corinthians 13:4-7.
(1 Corinthians 13 is not just written about Love, it is written about Love as the motivation for Ministry)

f)     1 Corinthians 13:7. Love has:-
1-  Faith.
2-  Hope.
3-  Patience.
(Through this Second one I desire more Love In My Ministry)
---------
Chris.
Love is not happy with evil but is happy with the Truth. Love and Truth should go together hand in hand. If someone is living in the Truth it is easy for them to Love and to be Loved because their life is in Truth. They have nothing to hide. When having relationships in Ministry this is very important, Love being happy with the Truth.
